And guess what, the next world cup should be around 2030, but I can bet that the Nigerian football federation are currently not thinking of what to do before time. Our sporting system, so much believe in a fire brigade approach. They like to make preparations only when it's very close, and for a country that is way behind in terms of footballing participation, we shouldn't be taking same steps like other countries.

I didn't watch the game and also couldn't find any meaningful preview online. However, I read some reports and they confirmed that Poland created more chances but were not clinical in front of the goal. Some newspapers hinted that Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye also made some great saves. I share the same thoughts with you that Nigeria needs to work on its defense.  I am also pleased that Stanley Nwabali is facing stiff competition from Okoye.

The funny thing of all is that, the Super Eagles didn't play with their main squad and it happened to be a 2-2 draw which the Super Eagles dominated throughout the game. I am asking what if the Super Eagles played with their full squad, it would have been a win.

This was the players who were present in the game. There was no Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman in the game. The Polish defence would be pleased that both of them were not available. Nigeria has played against Poland just twice and Nigeria won the first time they met.

Nigeria's next friendly game will be against Portugal. This will be a more competitive game since Portugal is a high-ranking football country. Hoping the Super Eagles would beat them.

What is there to be proud about friendlies, when we needed them to make us proud they didn't, on two several occasions if not three. One was the World Cup qualifiers, the second was during play off final, and third time was when we failed to bring the AFCON title home, in the next two to four years, there is no way they can make us proud, they already disappointed us.

The time Nigeria signed him was early enough and I even remember when people wanted him gone from the super eagles, he also had the time to give Nigeria a place on the world Cup but he didn't, from January last year was when the qualifier matches was strong and still under him we had some matches that could change even all the worst performance super eagles had if they could only win those matches. So actually on the world Cup the story wouldn't have changed if  Eric Sekou Chelle was here five years. I didn't see him as the best from his first week but it was later I began to see potential but still since we couldn't go to world cup I didn't see what else he could have done if it was sooner that he came.

One thing that gives fans joy in football is when ever there teams come out victorious in any game they play. Know doubt the result Nigeria got in there game was point division but to me I expected victory because if sentimental selection are eliminated,  Nigeria team will become one of the best team in the world because they have uncountable excellent players that do not have the chance to showcase or display there tentacles.
Apart from sentimental selections and other related activities happening in the team,  I will say there is something going on in that team that people don't know because how can they find it difficult winning easy games but do better in games we don't  believe they could do better.

I understand that it is a friendly game and maybe the French team decided not to play their best again but we should not underrate and take away anything from the performance of the ivory coast team. I just hope that the NFF allow Eric Chelle to mine the affairs of the Super Eagles for a very long time because the Super Eagles would achieve greatness as long as he remains their head coach. I didn't watch the friendly between the Super Eagles and Poland but I am not surprised with how the Super Eagles performed against Poland, because Eric Chelle has transformed the Nigeria national team. Of course, the Super Eagles matches recently are supposed to be better than Senegal and Ghana because they are in the World Cup, so their players will play with safety in order for them not to sustain injury that will make them miss the World Cup.
