I was so surprised with the 5-1 scoreline I saw in the video, because even though Portugal would defeat Nigeria they can't defeat Nigeria 5-1. People always like saying nonsense the match has not started, the match will be starting by 21:45, don’t be surprise that Nigeria is going to win the match, I have already decided to bet on the match Nigeria to win reason being that the World Cup is coming on and Portugal really wants to lift the World Cup so they will rest their players in this match and even if they should use all their full squad they will not put all their best in the match since is just a friendly match so they won’t get injured.

I was sad and angry when the Super Eagles didn't qualify for the World cup but after most African fans has been denied entry into the United States of America am no longer sad and angry, because this World Cup is going to be the worst World Cup we will witness as there's going to be a lot of vacant of seats in the stadium due to the United States of America denying fans entry into the United States of America.

United state decide who is going to enter their country, and who they going to deny his entry, so I don’t think FIFA is having any say in issues like this. I have been seeing the same video online, the video started circulating from the day Portugal and Nigeria were scheduled to play in the international friendly match before the FIFA world cup. According to my research the last time Portugal and Nigeria played was on the 2022 friendly match were Portugal won Nigeria with four goals, two goals were scored by the Manchester united captain Bruno Fernandes and other two goals were scored by two other players, the match ended with this score line 4:0.

Sadly this is the reality on ground, but on a serious note this is good even for FIFA because after this world cup they will have to be very careful when ever there is bidding for the world cup. Because this world cup supposed to be hosted by Morocco but the united states maneuver everything and got the hosting right ahead of Morocco. There is definitely going to be a big lose if you ask me in terms of revenue from attendance because it's obvious that there is a deliberate attempt by the united states authorities to make sure that people don't come into the united states for the world cup.

The super eagles performance under Erich Chille has been marvelous, it was just so unfortunate that we couldn’t make it to the World Cup with the rest of the African teams going to represent the continent there. It has been a while we’ve had such a strong team like this in the super eagles and this is one of the times they’ll do well in the World Cup and make the country proud. I hope they can still go far to some extent under him and make the next World Cup features. With what I see them playing against Portugal, it is really the type of game I really adore and could make them even do well in the World Cup if they’d qualified. The first half result was 1:1 and both teams performing was amazing despite Portugal having more possession of the ball but one thing to bite is the impact of the Nigerian coach in the Super Eagles team, he's done a good job with the players they can now face any team in the world cause they have a complete team at the moment. The mid field of the team was solid today but the Portuguese players were playing safe to avoid injuries that could affect their outing in the world cup.

Portugal and Nigeria are not in same level so i never had any feeling of Nigeria winning the match even though it's a friendly match that is not taken seriously. The Portugal squad played perfectly and i like how their coach replaced important players immediately after half time result, it was Cristiano Ronaldo that he gave a little playing time in the second half before substituting him in the 65th minute. I also wondered why the Nigeria team were being defensive instead of showing an attacking strength so that they can withstand pressure from opponent, especially when they are playing against a stronger team but i understood their plight because they were basically avoiding a repeat of the 4:0 defeat they faced against Portugal the last time they met.

I saw the performance Nigerian pulled against Portugal this night, and I was really upset as a Nigerian why Nigeria didn't qualify for the World cup, because looking at their style of play how offensive they were on the attack and how their defence was very solid, it gave the Portuguese attack and midfield a tough one for them to show superiority, with the level of display Nigeria gave Portugal this night despite the fact that Portugal won 2-1, the Super Eagles gave their best shot and for me, it's a stepping stone, because this match was played even without some of our brilliant players like Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.

I struggled to keep up with the game because of bad signal, but from the very little I watched, it wasn't bad after all.
But I have two concerns, first is, I noticed that they keep losing the ball too easily. I'm not sure if it's because of fatigue or something else, but I noticed that they often lose the ball even when they could easily prevent that just by making a pass.

I like their attacking and defensive strength, but a lot still needs to be done especially from the wings. The coach needs to develop both wings to work well, because the number 9 position is already operating fine even when the wingers are failing to turn up. It was a decent game tonight, but there's room for improvement, and I look forward to that.
