This World Cup is tiring for someone to make a prediction, because most of my predictions I booked have all cut because of draw, so I notice that this world cup is no longer giving people what they want so many of the gamblers has lost a lot of money due to so many draws that occur during this tournament, but for Dr Congo and  Portugal, I will tell you that what happened to them is what happened in Brazil match, because nobody believe that Brazil will you draw their game 1-1 instead of defeating their opponent

Out of ten African countries, four have lost (South Africa, Tunisia, Senegal, Algeria), two played a draw (Egypt, Morocco, Cape Verde) and only one has won their game (Senegal). Ghana and DR Congo have not played their first game. I might say that African countries are not doing badly, but I wouldn't rate them above average. We hope to see at least half of the countries in the next round. 

I also think that African teams have performed well though the first leg results were not that favourable to them as they faced tough opponents. Morocco, Egypt, Cape Verde and DR Congo today were very impressive in their game despite that they didn’t win they gave a good account.
It’s only Ivory Coast that won their game and not Senegal. Senegal started well but it ended badly for them. Maybe the next round will be more beneficial to African teams.

Yeah, apart from two north African countries, the others stayed solid and picked a draw except Ghana which picked important 3 points from Panama. Obviously this is supposed to be the weakest team in their group. England and even Croatia matches will be another level and they shouldn't count on a late goal to pick a second or first spot.

Super Eagles and their fans around the continent and maybe the world are witnessing the other teams bad performance and wishing their team was there to win matches there.

That doesn't worry me anymore because I know that if some of the key players we have now currently lose their form or retire before then, Nigeria has a variety of talents as well scattered all across the nation that could replace any of those key players. If you recently observed the friendlies that Nigerians recently played before this World Cup, you would notice that the players who represented the country did not do so bad, and to me, it just looked like they needed more playing time. The Super Eagles will be stronger if they are able to keep the manager we have currently because that way he will be able to build a team philosophy and a backbone that the Nigerian Super Eagles team can grow on.

Even though the current players are getting older, Super Eagles will always find new footballers. I've been following Super Eagles since 1994, and they've always been one of my favorite teams. Amokachi played for my team (Beşiktaş), Okocha and Uche played for Fenerbahçe. These players made a name for themselves at the 1994 World Cup. Okocha, in particular, went to PSG after his impressive performance at France '98. Now Osimhen is playing for Galatasaray and Onucachu for Trabzonspor. What I mean is, Super Eagles is like a football player factory; they always produce young, talented footballers. I would have liked to see Super Eagles in this World Cup.

Even though the current players are getting older, Super Eagles will always find new footballers. I've been following Super Eagles since 1994, and they've always been one of my favorite teams. You've really shown that you've been following the support Eagles, the names you mentioned in 1994 were some of our legends, we've not still had a super Eagles team that is that solid, we call them the golden generation. Although we've had new generational footballers like Osimhen and Paul Onuachu like you mentioned, but cumulatively, we've not been able to assemble the kind of players we had in 1994.

From what I’ve seen, many African teams have performed well on this first day of the World Cup. Obviously, Cape Verde made a good impression by holding Spain to a draw, but what about Morocco, who drew with Brazil? Is that not impressive enough?
Morocco are a really strong team and could do very well in this World Cup; at the very least, they can build on the progress they’ve made in recent years. The same cannot be said, however, for Algeria, Tunisia and, of course, South Africa. South Africa played really badly, whilst the North African sides need to completely overhaul their defence, which was dreadful.

And a lot of people are losing bets because the predictions are not going the way we expected, and because damn, this guy isn't joking, and the way money is going down, having a direct win now in the World Cup is more difficult, and only a few are making a win, and even the few are very few   i noticed both teams are always scoring that is one of the things that we are trying to take note, no matter what, there are always goals.

And this option will win, aside from the fact that it won't, and another thing is that it is not in all cases that it happens, so even if that option is explored, there is still no guarantee that you are going to win the bet. From the day the World Cup group stage fixtures was drawn and we found out DR Congo was in group K alongside Portugal and they will play Portugal in their first match in this World Cup, we already believed Portugal would beat DR Congo. Today Portugal and DR Congo officially face each other in the World Cup but the match didn't end as we long expected it to end. DR Congo defy the odds against them and held Portugal to a 1-1 draw, even as I wanted Portugal to win because of the love I have for Cristiano Ronaldo, congratulations to DR Congo for doing the unimaginable thing against Portugal.

Yeah, I too thought Portugal would have the win over DR Congo. So it was quite surprising to see DR Congo hold their own and managed to withstand the Portuguese. Despite having less of the ball in their possession, they managed to score a goal in the second half and held on till the end.
I had predicted a straight from Portugal as I kinda underestimated DR Congo if I'm being honest. They did put up a good fight and despite the odds, they came out with a draw. Good game.

It was only Ghana and ivory coast that won their first game out of the total of ten African team that went to the world cup which was not a surprise to me, because I believe that not all African team will do well. The team that I believe might go far in this competition is ivory coast or Morocco, but it's still early days, so we shouldn't be making assumptions yet.

If the matches were easily predictable, most persons would say that it's even boring and that some of the matches are fixed. I kind of like the fact that none of the games is coming out for easily and no team is sitting back and playing like an underdog. Look at the England Vs Croatia game that was played yesterday, you could see back and forth scoring from both side which indicate how hungry they both are to take out point from the game. Though England where too strong to be contained by Croatia, that kind of back and forth performance goes to show that towards the end of the tournament, we might be seeing some unpopular names going into the end of the world cup.

What impressed me about all the countries we have on the world cup from Africa is that even if we don't have a lot of them that won from the ten countries that have played but there losing is also very low and we have two countries that have won there first match while four had draws, so the total of Six matches are still good while only four countries had a lost, so this is to imply that there would be more African countries that would go above this stage that we didn't think they would be lucky to go because if there second matches is a bit better than first match the chances will be more for some of them.

What would be the feeling of Africans worldwide to see any of this country in the World Cup finals?

No African country has ever played in a World Cup final so if any African country manages to qualify for this year's World Cup final, it will be a thing of joy not only for the African country that qualified to the World Cup final but to the whole African countries, just like the whole African countries was so happy when Morocco became the first African country to play in a World Cup semi final.

From what I’ve seen, many African teams have performed well on this first day of the World Cup. Obviously, Cape Verde made a good impression by holding Spain to a draw, but what about Morocco, who drew with Brazil? Is that not impressive enough?
Morocco are a really strong team and could do very well in this World Cup; at the very least, they can build on the progress they’ve made in recent years. The same cannot be said, however, for Algeria, Tunisia and, of course, South Africa. South Africa played really badly, whilst the North African sides need to completely overhaul their defence, which was dreadful.

Asking if am ain't impressed?! Of course I am very impressed by these results which has emboldened my expectation on African countries participating in the World Cup, history is in the making and, I believe that this time one of the African teams could get passed the semi finals stage should this mentality be maintained in all their next games. I wasn't really happy with Tunisia's performance in their first match in this World Cup because they played against a team they have the same strength with but they allowed Sweden to have a comfortable win against them. Tunisia became the first African team to concede the worst defeat so far in this World Cup. After Tunisia 5-1 loss against Sweden, Tunisia football association sacked Tunisia head coach. Tunisia's result against Sweden is totally unacceptable. Tunisia football association made the right choice to replace Tunisia head coach with immediate effect.

I think FIFA is already regretting that which they would not make the kind of revenue that should have made in this year world cup tournament. Trump has been mandating FIFA to do what he wants and they have no excuses for that since the united States is one of the countries that can threaten FIFA and their existence. There have been so many people that were banned from participating in this year world cup but the news is not talking about most of them.

To be fair, it’s not just FIFA that’s missing out on money. Businesses like airbnbs, and restaurants in the US that would have profited from tourists coming to watch the World Cup are also suffering the consequences of the immigration crisis. We thought the World Cup in Qatar would be the last time we would have this much controversy in the World Cup but I’m afraid the US might just be it.

Senegal is my favorite in the Africa teams in the world cup though they loss their first match but they gave tough time to France. Today South Africa is playing again when I made a research about Czechia and South Africa and both team drew the match in 1997. So till now we don't know if all the team have improved or not. But South Africa will lose it again.

I noticed it as well. Most result were very surprising and unexpected. All yesterday matches played both teams to score except Argentina vs Algeria match that ended 3-0 in favor of Argentina. Some time the safest bet in international match is over/under option because we normally have less goals in international games but this year world cup is different entirely as over 2.5 is just like water for them. With the way things are going even over 3.5 now won't give you a reasonable odds. England and Croatia scored six goals yesterday. Let observe the second match to see whether GG is the perfect option.
