I wanted to stake on Morocco to win Haiti in first half because after i have seen the performance of Morocco against Brazil and Scotland i had the belief Morocco would score 2 goals against Haiti in first half but fear did not allow me to go with what was on my mind. After Morocco and Haiti ends the first half, i was happy i did follow my mind because i would had loss big money. Haiti surprised everyone with the way they performed against Morocco in first half but Morocco was fast enough to equalize Haiti and the first half ended 2:2. It was in second half that Morocco subdued Haiti and scored more 2 goals to win game 4:2 and reach the next stage of the world cup.

I was pained that Senegal lost against Norway. Poor defending was their undoing. There are speculations of rancor in the Segelase camp because they are owed allowances and match bonuses.

This was their major problem, 2 of their goals were all defensive errors of which the most painful one of them is Haaland's second goal, which would've been avoided if they cleared the ball properly. It was as though the defenders had heavy legs from fatigue because even my old grandmother can clear that ball that led to the third goal properly. It's obvious Senegal is not scaling through the group stage, France and Norway is heading to next round.

The Black Stars did very well, I didn't expect them to hold England to a draw, No matter what misses occured in the match, the end result is most important and they shared points with England after 90 mins. We expect better results from African Teams.

I believe nobody ever saw it coming, prior to the kick off time we all thought Morocco would beat Haiti black and blue due to their past escapades against Brazil and Scotland, but the Haitian team were very resilient against the Morrocans even if we knew they were still going to lose that game, its was obvious that the Moroccans were way stronger than the Haitians but what caught my interest was the fight the Haitians team put in during the first 45 minutes.

I was following up the match but along the line sleep took me unaware and I slept off. And I checked the scoreline this morning only for me to see 4-2. And I thought it would end with the 2-2 or 2-3.  Morocco is in good group and they have to qualify to the knockout stage and the same thing to South Africa but South Africa group is more tougher than Morocco. Well we thank God they went to the knockout stage but that nothing to do with me. My supporting team has been eliminated. The next team to support is USA.

With this second loss to Norway and the goal deficit against the Senegalese side it's obvious that the Senegalese side are through with the World Cup and do not have any hopes of qualifying for the next rounds, I didn't believe that Senegal would perform the low in the World Cup  but it happened and all attention would  now be focused on the likes of Cabo Verde, Morocco, Ghana, Egypt and  the rest of the African teams who still have a chance to qualify.

Honestly the Senegalese team are just unlucky to be in the group of death that's all I can say because they are really strong and they did not make it easy for France or Norway but the difference is just too clear.
In another universe and Senegal found themselves in the group south Africa is I am sure they would actually qualify from that group, not just that there are many other groups that j believe that Senegal would have done well but they are just unlucky to be in the undisputed group of death.

It doesn't feel to me that the Senegalese team are unlucky and that's why they haven't gotten even a single point in their group after two consecutive games, but it's just an effect of a depreciating team form that's affecting the Senegal team. Their group isn't anything much of a group of death to me than some of the other groups where we still see the most underdogs thriving with points to the next stage. Even if they couldn't get a point from Spain, they had no excuse not getting it from the Norwegians, considering that they're one of the strongest team in African football.

Even if they were unable to beat France (because they have deadly attacking players) but I expected that they got 3 or 1 points against Norway. They should be able to qualify with that, hadn't been they beat or draw Norway, then Iraq wouldn't be much of problem to them. With that they could have ended up with 4/6 points which could have guaranteed their qualifications to the round of 32. The team that still shocks me the most is Cabo Verde who are the most smallest and weakest team in that group H, yet they have snatched two incredible points from Spain and Uruguay who are a very top teams with quality players. Now they just need to beat Saudi Arabia to guarantee their qualifications too. They are having good world cup run that Senegal which is still of a surprise to me.

Ghana has held England in a draw up to this moment. I did not see this coming. Ghana is the only African team that want to give us a surprise of not losing this period. Respect to Thomas Partey master class. He held the midfield so strong. However Harry Kane has missed a clear chance. If Ghana can capitalize in one moment to score this game will end in favor of them.

I saw a post this morning that one traditional worshiper in Ghana said Harry Kane will not score any goal that he will do something to prevent him from scoring and according to the report, he said this before the match started, as for me I don’t believe he actually did anything or it was because of what he did that made Harry Kane not to score if he is actually that powerful spiritually then he should make Ghana to lift the World Cup this year if he cannot do that then his just a big lair trying to use this World Cup to trend.

If South Africa will be facing one of the host countries Canada it means, South Africa will have a chance in the next round also. Canada is not a strong team, their second match ended in a 6:0 win over Qatar, Qatar is a very weak football country, South Africa is better than them. Canada got that good performance only because it was against Qatar, but come to think of it, I seriously doubt Canada and South Africa will face themselves in the next round, both teams came out second from their respective groups and cannot meet themselves. Unless maybe as the competition had an increased number of participants, maybe Fifa made some adjustments to the rules but again I seriously doubt that South Africa will face Canada in the next stage.

I think South Africa is lucky to have won the game, and I didn’t know what South Korea was doing, they looked like a team that aren’t interested in qualifying for the knockout stages, because I heard something a reporter asking a question if the players are suffering from food poisoning, but that was outrageous I was disappointed with the Koreans, I’ was expecting South African to leave the competition and now they’ve qualified I’m hate watching South Africa because of the way they’ treated other African countries with the xenophobia protest that is happening in South Africa.

Anyway, Ghana is playing a very good bus park (tough defense) and has deservedly picked up the point. What I understand is that in these tight matches of the World Cup, if someone bets thinking that ""domination means goals"", they will be caught.

The last match of the group is against Panama, England may be able to pick up the point easily in this match. Although the match is supposed to be easy, nothing is guaranteed here.

Haiti has shown that they have improved a lot in world football going by the results that they pulled off this world cup. They will be going home with their heads up high. This show that Haiti is developing their football in the grass root level which is translating to the success that they are experiencing at the global stage. With the world cup expanded I expect that Haiti will be a regular in the world cup going forward.


But talking about African representative in this world cup, the truth is am super impressed with the way that they, have been playing so far. Apart from Tunisia and Senegal which to me in the Case of Senegal will be attributed to lack of technical in depth from the coach. All other countries had impressed even south Africa that started the world cup on a shaky not has turned their tides around.

Ghana and England are currently equal points, and they are having just 1 matches left, they both will struggle just to get a win  in their last match, getting draw or losing isnt going to be good for any of them, what they should be after now is how they going to win their last match.

So far, quality of football has increased in a few countries, and that's what we're seeing at the moment in this tournament. Unfortunately for the Super eagles, they just couldn't find that form and quality on time. And how the NFF has handled things hasn't been really good, but I want to believe that they would have had a decent run if they were actually participating.

And as for the number of countries to qualify, you're actually right. Six teams at the moment should make it, although some of them still have a game in hand to play. But if they go on to do the needful, they should be in the next round. Though, 1/2 Africa countries can still make it through the best third place game.

That last match between Ghana and England was very surprising games for everyone because nobody expected that Ghana will draw the match against England, but to be honest upon all the points they got in that match that is how they received a lots of pressure, is just that football is game of luck if not England could’ve score many goals in that; but shall both where try.

Anyway let see how their next match will goes since both then are going to face newly countries and I don’t know about those countries performances, but I hope that England will get victory over Panama in my own view.

I so much enjoyed the game that Morocco played those back to back 4 cool goals actually gave me joy and I was wishing it was my country that had the victory 😂 to be honest they really tried their attack was 100 percent good play and they stayed focus even under the pressure. Even with the own goal that Yassine Bounou did Morocco did not still relentless and I really love the energy that Hakimi used to follow up Haiti as at 39 minutes he fired back with equalising to 1-1 and even tho the first half ended draw the game still made my day.
