Just some few minutes, I was happy for Amad and the Ivorians for a beautiful solo goal that brought the Ivorians back to the game and gave them a resounding hope to advance to the next round of the world cup.

Can't say Ivory Coast deserve to progress more than the Norwegian team. It was a keenly contested battle between both teams but even when I don't like the final result of the game, I think Norway also deserve to win. After Amad Diallo scored that brilliant goal, I thought it was gonna be the turning point of the game but Norway pushed harder for a win and was able to get it at the end.
Yes, Ivory Coast played well and could've won if they were more creative and clinical in the final third but at the end, Norway won because they fought harder.

Why would you say it was unexpected? without praising the Moroccans, any one who says that going into this game that Netherland were the outright favorite is not saying the truth. Yes it true that Netherland played very well in the group stages of the competition but rulling out Morocco was not a good idea. So I will not say that Morocco progressing ahead of the Netherland comes as a surprise.


The truth is from the start of the tournament Morocco, is playing one of the best styles of football. Especially in the way that they controls and passes the ball, if you watch this game you will find out that towards the ending of this game Morocco was in total control of the game as they totally dominated the game outplaying the opponents.

I think you are right and i agree with you completely it was really an interesting and incredibly tight match for both the two teams, well as it stand the both teams did left everything out stand on the pitch, but the bitter truth of it all is that it very hard to see some teams get eliminated after the fights just like what lvory coast did, I just thinking that the Diallo goal ball was off Pepe’s assist but it really gave them a lifeline help, But credit to Norway, they stayed sharp, took their chance when it mattered most, and earned the win.

I think the Ivorian coach made a poor coaching decision to keep Amad on the bench because he had a great influence on the game and would have done more for the Ivory Coast team if he had started in the game. A player like Amad, who plays in the Premier League and is exposed to playing with European players, should be a top player in any team playing in the first eleven if he is fit for a game. That was a poor coaching decision that the coach will regret because if he had started early in the game, it is very possible that they would have put up a better fight and maybe won the game.

Ivory Coast players should go back home to rewatch this match so they can blame themselves for losing the game when they created multiple chances but failed to convert any of them to get the second goal after  Amad levelled the score to 1:1. They were losing but after coming back I expected them to pressure Norway even more so that they would commit them and score the second goal by they wasted all their chances. Last minute before the extra time the defense became porous leaving Norway the chance to push that long pass which brought the goal. Norwegians were just lucky to score the winner I had expected the game to get to the penalty and I was already rooting for Ivory Coast to win but they couldn't get to the penalty spot.

Finishing is one of the major problems of the African team from I've observed in this competition, especially between an African team an a European team. Physically you will see that the ivorians are having more stamina but tactically and technically you will see that the Norwegian team are better with the approach tactically, and that is what has helped them to win this game. Diverse played like a team that had equal potentials within Norwegian team, they didn't back down as they kept on creating chances for themselves but it was not just enough to convert to goals.

I watched the match but to be frank, Ivory Coast really tried to defend their post but it was unbelievable how Norway was able to score another goal that made it 2-1. The way African teams are getting beaten is unbelievable, although I know that all the African teams will be able to qualify for the next round which is going to be more competitive.

This round of 32 is very tough for African teams. I don't think Senegal is fit to beat Belgium tomorrow because their performance in the group stage wasn't impressive, but since this is knockout stage maybe they will improve and perform better. Dr Congo will face England, this is going to be a crucial match for the both teams, because I feel the both teams have equal chance qualify because they have strong performance in the group stage. But let leave banter aside Morocco is the best team in the African football, and I believe they can pull out good performance as they did in the last world cup.

It was a fair game and both teams really did well and I think if any of them, anyone that ended up qualifying will still be what to be expected from the game. They both played brilliantly and the match was already looking like it will reach the extra time before Haaland did his masterpiece again and put their team in front. There was little time for Ivory Coast to fight back for that goal, but it showed in them that if they had gotten more time, they would have equalised and the game will go much longer than we saw tonight. I won’t fail to praise Amad Diallo, he is a great player and he has really shown it in the field today once again for his country and the whole world to see.

Ivory had many goals chances but they couldn't convert them to goals but the little chance Haaland almost stoppage time,he managed to secure the winning goal for his teammates. Morroco looks more coordinated this world cup tournament and their performance has been outstanding. So far they have been the only African team that looks more strategic and tactical in their games. At least their performances speaks of volume on their preparedness this world cup and I believe other African nations are watching to learn from them how they were able to coordinate themselves and people around them to properly play good football. Morroco seems to be the African team this world cup tournament that is doing the continent proud of him.

Morocco played a brilliant match and deserved to win, even though it went to penalties. Goalkeeper Bonou proved once again that he is an excellent goalkeeper and a rock between the posts, making several more superb saves. Saibari is a great player too.
I don’t see Canada as a difficult opponent; the real tough test will be France in the quarter finals. If they get past them too, then the final will be Morocco vs Argentina.

Both teams effort was great in this match and no team did relax in this match. Gakpo was a person who did first goal of the match and he did this goal at 72 minutes and he gave good start in the second half of the match and no team could do any goal in the first half of the match. When players are playing they always play for the country and Morocco national football team was favorite to win this match but they could not apply pressure on opponent team and their score was equal as comparison to opponent team. The stats of Morocco  football team  was wonderful in this match because they tried to give their best in this match. The possession of that team was 70 percent which was top class in this match
