Morroco are having the worst moment right now as their star Saibari was sent off the pitch after a hamstring injury, quite an unfortunate situation for the player who has being one of the best in the team.
Salibari was injured in the first half of the match, and I was thinking his absence was just going to affect Morocco performance in the match, but Morocco still played well in the match, and they were able to get 3 goals in the match which is really a good one. Honestly they really making Africans proud in the World Cup because their performance has been impressive since the beginning of the competition.

Since the World Cup started, they haven’t lost any match which is really a nice one, I just hope they going to continue with their good good performance in the subsequent ‘em matches that they are going to play.

Cape Verde earned my respect last night. Where everyone think Argentina will beat them with much goal margin in full time, Cape Verde stood their ground and almost took the defending champions to penalty kick with 8 minutes to go.

Ghana has been sent home. Ghana was the worst team among all the African team that qualified in the round of 32.
Cape Verde, this is their first time coming to the World Cup they performed beyond imagination. You can imagine when they try to be in the World Cup other times to come, we will be more than amazed as we are. I am placing them in high regard, they made us we Africa proud for challenging Argentina head to head.

As for Ghana, I wasn't expecting anything much from them to advance to the round of 16. Their kicking out of the World Cup didn't surprise me a bit. Where the African hope is on Morocco. But my fear is that they might decide not to recognize themselves as Africa nation, but Arab nations, as they did before in the last World Cup.

Morocco has done it again. The first team to book a place in the Quarter finals of this year's tournament. What a game. This Moroccan team can play any team in the world right now. Their calmness and switch is top-notch in the second half. Ounahi has written his name on the golden book tonight scoring a brace and lighting up the game. Hakimi keeps proving why he is the captain of the team.

Canada created several chances in the first half but refused converting any of them and that cost them big time in the second half. Congratulations to Morocco, next would probably be France. But if France eventually losses, then Morocco will be sure of making it to the semi final again this year.
Congratulations to Morocco, I always knew they’re the only team that is going to make Africa proud in the World Cup, all the African teams are crashing out of the World Cup Tournament, it’s just only the Moroccan’s who Senegalese stole the African Cup of Nations from, so if I may ask who are the true African Champions.

Morocco have done it and it’s awesome, they’re the team that is making me happy from African, but most individuals here keep saying that I’m from Morocco, but I saw a team who are ready to play football, and are ready to make there football better, with what they’ve built in the African and World Football.

Congratulations to Morocco for qualifying for the Last 8 of the FIFA World Cup.

This was the most anticipated match concerning an African team for the qualification of the round of 16 and they nailed it. Morocco is the country that's represented Africa best so far, they didn't win through penalties or hope on late minutes win but scored three wonderful goals without any goal from the opponents.

I take back whatever I've said out of anger for Morocco in the AFCON, their performance in this World Cup has made me forgive their AFCON controversy, reaching the quarterfinals is enough to support them and I hope they advance to the semifinals and also finals if possible so an African Country would finally reach the World Cup finals.

The Moroccan national football team is indeed the African champion we all know, despite the fact that they were robbed of their supposed African Cup of Nations trophy. Now the evidence has become very clear as to who the real champion is. Among other African countries, Morocco's style and level of football are quite different and aren't comparable to how other Africans play their games. They've eliminated one of the host nations, Canada, and it was a clear thrashing.

It is not always the strongest teams that win the finals of the competition This is why I still support that Senegal won the final game clear and fair in the finals of the African Cup of Nations, but corruption wants to hand the Cup over to Morocco, and not because they are a poorer team in performance but because it was obvious that the government had invested a lot of money in the football and in the competition, and perhaps they wanted some sort of recognition in the form of results for it.

Morocco's style and level of football are quite different and aren't comparable to how other Africans play their games.
Currently the Moroccan team is a dominant team in African football, but as we know, football moves in phases; in another year or two, football dominance could move to another country; it could become Cape Verde.

Dominance in African football was once had by Nigeria, by Egypt, by Ghana, by Ivory Coast, by Tunisia, by Senegal, now is the turn for Morocco.

Ghana is not the worst to me because they have defended a draw to the country we thought they were too common to but it was on this round I became unhappy with them because after remaining strong when the heavy Sturm was on them they shouldn't have been weak when they have seen the country that isn't equal to what they have been through but however there are more other country that did worst than Ghana, the beginning of Ghana to Columbia was very well a potential starts with hope to the country that they would win and few brilliant strikes was also taken but from 14 minutes of Columbia goal, Ghana loss all there momentum.
The  shots of Colombia national football team were more in this match and these were 20 in this match and 8 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team was great in this match which was 62 percent in this game And they tried to be dominant in this match and they were dominant in the whole game as they did 1 goal in this match abd opponent team did no goal in this match. The passes of Colombia national football team were more in this match and these were 576 in this match and pass accuracy of that team was 90 percent in this match. Arias did one and only goal of this match but he should try to do goal again in this match but he could not do any goal till end and Ghana national football team lose this match due to their own mistakes which they did in this match and they regret after their loss in this match
Colombia is now in RO16 after defeating Ghana in RO32 by 1-0. As the game started Colombia put pressure on Ghana 67% possession by Colombia in the first half 0.98xG, 2 big chances created out of which 1 is converted into goal in the 14th minute by  Arias and 5 total shots . In the second half Colombia possession dropped to 54% ,1.06xG , 3 big chances created and 15 shots just in the 2nd half. Overall Ghana kept 39% possession no big chance created and just 8 shots. Ati Zigi Ghana's player was named as player of the match for his 7 incredible saves. Now Colombia will face Switzerland in RO16.

Well done, Morocco, you've always made us proud. 3 goals to nill against Canada only means good striking and defence, as Canada is not a weak country in this current football settings; nice one Ounahi and every member of the team, particularly Bounou; those were brilliant saves in the match. It was so trilling to the point that even at the last minute, these guys were still unforgiven. That's what I call dominance.

For me Ghana gives more than their potential because no one was expecting they would hold a team like England. This was their best performance against Croatia and Colombia, not good as they needed to be in the last game against Colombia.

Goalkeeper Ati Zigigive gave his best and kept his team's momentum at the top. Their attack was not able to perform, which they needed in these crucial games. Performance from their defense was good, but the offense was playing like crap. This hurt them badly throughout and was a big reason for their exit in this round, but still they did a good job and had a good end to their campaign.

Morocco is the best country that is doing very well in Africa and I think is only two African that remain in the World Cup currently and Morocco as succeed in the round of 16 what a very good performance from them and will see who they will face in the next around. Egypts will face Argentine and we don’t really know who will win the match because football is unpredictable sometime but I don’t sure if Egypt can succeed to qualify for the next around but anything is possible.

When Cape Verde was going toe-to-toe with Argentina, I was against that tactics of dragging ball possession with Argentina. When Messi scored in the 29th minute, I became upset because I said to myself if Cape Verde coach had instruct his boys to play a low block football there's no way Argentina would had taken the lead in the first half. In the second half, Cape Verde coach and his boys proved me wrong, as the tactics helped them to play 1-1 against Argentina in 90 minutes, it was in extra time that Argentina managed to win Cape Verde 3-2. Even as Cape Verde lost to Argentina their bravery fight against Argentina will always be talked about anytime the discussion of 2026 World Cup comes out.
Football will continue prove us wrong and the reason is simple, no matter how convinced we are with our predictions and expectations, there are times we get shocked with how football event went, I now understand why some persons were talking tough that Cape Verde will win the match although they did not win but I think something made them to believe that, take a close look at what happened in that match, cape Verde as a team wasn't ready to pave way for Argentina, I will say that Argentina won by luck, the match was not business as usual for the, I really enjoyed this year word cup because many history was made.
Morroco is a strong country known for football and they have the players and defense to make it hard for their opponents to defeat them.
Senegal that won Morroco is the previous AFCON during the final play has been eliminated easily and Morocco is still playing very good and going to reach the semi final as soon as possible if they maintain their strength and defense.

This Cape Verde team would've defeated Columbia easily, they surely made Africa proud with the way they stood up to Argentina. I would love to watch Morocco make it to the quarter finals, I'm positive about them.
I know it's because of the way Cape Verde stood their ground and push Argentina so hard that's making you to believe Cape Verde would have defeated Colombia if it was Colombia they played against in the round of 32. Cape Verde was able to perform so good last night because they played against Argentina, they were determine to prove a point against Argentina which they did. But playing against Colombia, they wouldn't put in that same energy they put in against Argentina last season, and considering how strong Colombia are, they would have defeated Cape Verde.

I deed a little research on morroco and football schemes and I realised that morroco is far beyond African teams and even some European teams we hear of. Morroco long ago started preparing for international tournament like world cup by putting in place football facilities and making sure their player's are in a good form. They made sports industry look more attractive on their country to boost football skills of the younger generation si they don't find it difficult getting more talents join their national team. As it stands now in Africa, when it comes to football, no African nation has achieved what morroco has been able to do in their country when it comes to sport's and football. So I am not surprised at their performance this world cup tournament. They are making Africa proud.

I must really say there is nothing quite like the feelings of a stronger teams to be like commanding the whole squad and using that to wash away there past failures and frustration what an really interesting moment it was having to see a team with unique abilities to do such…Forgiving their AFCON drama is entirely valid performances like that earn respect and clean the slate.

Morocco didn't just win they put on a nice performance out there and it was obvious that discipline was needed there, and the funny part of it all was there was no breathing space for them.

Saibari is a talisman for Morocco but they’ve shown that they can also play without him and win games. It was suppose to be an incredible game for them but they were able to get a comfortable win in the game, they’re worth being hailed for their beautiful effort and performance to win in this game swiftly.

Since the World Cup started, they haven’t lost any match which is really a nice one, I just hope they going to continue with their good good performance in the subsequent ‘em matches that they are going to play.

I have hope on Morocco but getting to see the team they’re going to play with in the quarterfinals has actually weakened me a bit and sceptical about their qualification to the next round of the competition. If they can win the match against France and eliminate France from the competition, then they will be the team that has a more chance of winning the World Cup more.

Yes Saibari has been a shining star in this Morocco national team and that’s what has earned him the move to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich. Personally I was actually sure he will be a miss but with the kind of Morocco has they wouldn’t be useless without him, they came into this tournament not to even start Saibari as the first choice striker they had the likes of Kaabi who was leading the attack in the just concluded AFCON on the bench, plus the veteran Rahimi too. So they have options although am Inform Saibari will be better.

As for the next fixture they go head to head with France in the quarter finals next after the French team narrowly won their game against Paraguay. This is the second World Cup meeting intro consecutive meetings as they meet last time at the semi finals of the 2022 World Cup with France actually progressing then. Now I think even though book makers will favour France I think it will be a difficult game for both clubs and the first real test of the tournament
