Imagine picking Egypt to win then you start rejoicing cause the game was 0-2 with Egypt ahead at 80 mins only to check the scoreline at full-time to see that Egypt lost by 3 goals in 13mins later.

Until we see the full-time completely achieved before we can accept for a victory to be celebrated, literally it is very possible that one should conclude on Egypt victory on that match, but football could come surprisingly beyond what we expected, Egypt has been performing well before now, until this world cup that it wasn't an impressive performance any longer that Morocco is more well doing than them, even Cape Verde performed better this world cup.

Egypt used to be a very strong team till this world cup they did very well but they didn't really see it coming because they thought they have won with a two goal margin forgetting that in football till the final whistle is blown anything can happen and they were too relaxed. The coach too should have been proactive in doing the needful by changing formation immediately to making sure they had maintained the lead till the match was over.

Pride took over Stanley Nwabali after that his heroic performance at the AFCON 2024, ever since then we have seen him make mistakes that should have been avoided as a goalkeeper. The problem with most Nigerian players is that as soon as they receive a little fame, it enters their head such that they will begin to feel like they are on top of the world and nobody can tell them what to do anymore. Rejoining Chippa United is not a criterion that Stanley Nwabali will retrieve his previous spot as the first-choice goalkeeper of the Super Eagles, if he doesn't have a good rapport with the head coach then he still won't get the privilege of becoming the first choice goalkeeper.
Considering the performance of Stanley Nwabali at the AFCON 2024, he was seen as a good goalkeeper across the world and there was rumors that a club in the Saudi Arabian league was interested in him, but anyone knows if the rumors are true because Stanley Nwabali's camp did not receive word from any Saudi clubs. I think Stanley Nwabali was trying to use the hype around him to secure a better contract that can help him earn more money and also expose him to the world, so i do not think it was pride that made him left Chippa United.

The Super Eagles shot stopper, Stanley Nwabali, has returned to his formal club as a free agent after he left the club in February on mutual consent. Stanley Nwabali left to seek for a new challenge elsewhere, but he couldn't secure any deal with any club in Africa or aside Africa, and that decision made him to lose his position as the first choice keeper in the Super Eagles team. Now that he has rejoined Chippa United, let's see if he can reclaim his position in the Super Eagles team.
It has really been a rough few months for him like I heard, I was hoping to see him start playing for a bigger team at some point, just as you have mentioned he left Chippa in the month of February, I think so and he was looking for that big move that would change his story, but in football I have come to understand that in everything you do you need to have patience before things start working out for you… He just needs to understand that everything works perfectly in timing, what an emotional drama that the transfer window didn’t go how he planned. And the funny part is no deal in Africa, no deal abroad... and that inactivity cost him alot him, and not joking

Stanley Nwabali gambled with his career, by leaving a club when he hasn't gotten another club, this have affected his performance because as a goal jeepers what makes you stand out is the amount of time you are featured in a match and a coach will like to always feature goals keepers that have the tenacity to play in all match and perform at their best, Nwabali should have learned from other players like Victor Moses for spending month's without a club after left hus club until Spartans Moscow came to sign him, Nwabali have to move to clubs he will get featured in most match for him to regain his fits before supper Eagle considerations, Nwabali moving to chippers United may not be his best decisions, but at least good enough to get him back on the pitch.

I found some mistakes that Egypt made when they were already 2-0 up. Players are too quick to be complacent and feel they are ahead, even though the game is still going on and anything can happen in the remaining time. Their intensity dropped by 30%, the back line dropped too deep and gave Argentina a chance to score, even though in a big game like the World Cup, 1 goal can revive the mentality of the opposing players.

I also cannot understand the Egyptian coach's decision, how could he make such a fatal blunder when his team was already ahead, even though he also knew Argentina was not a weak team. He should have immediately brought in a defensive midfielder to control the tempo of the game, and switched wingers to full-backs to make the defense more solid. The Egyptian coach also didn't try to waste time cleverly, what happened was the opposite, he started to panic after conceding and immediately changed the formation.

In that game, Egypt left two different sides. They played well and even took the lead over Argentina, but they also showed that at the World Cup level, 90 minutes of focus is essential, and one mistake could send them home. If they can maintain their lead, the story will be different, they will be the dark horse team representing the African continent in the semifinals.

He had a manager and advisers, it’s very likely he had these options and he’s decisions did seem best for him at the time until later.

It’s not easy playing at a professional level especially when you are a goalkeeper as there are just a handful of elite teams that are deserving of certain talents. He was good certainly but, not at the level of being sort for that much and yeah, he needed to be seen and being off the scene as a free agent can greatly affect not just overall performance but your career too.

Although I don't understand why seeking for other clubs to signed him would make him loss being our first goalkeeper, or is the super eagles treating goalkeepers based on currently playing in a team?. There was some person's who sounded very certain of how some clubs within Africa wanted him but what happened that he was still without a club?, his case is actually a surprise to me because after the year he got all Nigeria so excited for him I thought that was his breaking point to greatness but he is still stagnated in his former team, actually it would be worst for him if another goalkeeper will take his place in both the club and in super eagles.

I'm still trying to understand the motivation behind his move to terminate his contract, like on what ground. I think there are hidden agents that promised him to leave the club so thag it will steady the speed of other clubs that want him. If probably he is not a free agent, he will not get the contract of other clubs as they will want to pay for his release claused and after months of waiting, there was no direction and he came back to where he left.

He is even luckkg Chippa took him back but I am going to think that there is no way they will take him back without dealing with him, they will definitely reduce his wages for belittling the club for another. There is no way player will enjoy the club and one day terminate his contract. If this was top team, he can't do it and if he did, they are going to use media to finish him and the rest of his career.

Stanley Nwabali is a funny guy, bro is already old, he thought his performance in Afcon and world cup qualifiers will earn him  a place in European teams. This is most dumbest decision someone can ever make, why would he even leave his club in the first place without first securing another offer. I don't think Super eagle can even call him up because to me he is getting old and beyond his prime, the best thing they can do is find his replacement and make him sit on the bench. Now that he has gone back to chippers united as a free agent, his salary will be reduced compared to what he earns before.

Egypt's squad was also very strong in this world cup. Their performance against Argentina also surprised  me. They were able to  create some incredible chances. At the same time, their  counterattacks were also very fast. One of the reasons they lost this match was that they thought that they would  not lose the match after being  2-0 up. But Argentina's players were very confident. In the end , Egypt probably conceded 3 goals in the last  15 minutes. If Egypt could have kept  their defense strong in the last few minutes, the team would have  been able to qualify for the quarter-finals.

May his body rest in peace, to me I see the death of a footballer as one minute representing your country…another minute they are wearing a jersey next minute RIP, and a police investigation…it sure would be so painful to the family alot, and all painful to all Africans, I think you have a point until an official statement is made before it is right to conclude on anything now…And I also hear what you’re saying about South Africa lately. A lot of people have been talking about how other Africans are treated there. Xenophobia, violence, the way people are profiled... it’s been getting worse, not better which I think means something needs to be done there, not just keeping quiet.
I really don't know much about this player but it's a pity that he died at a such a young age. My condolences goes to his family and people who are very close to him, this is a hard loss to bear. I would like to know what killed him but Since his family haven't made an official statement regarding the cause of his deaths to the general public I will wait until his family are ready to speak about his death. However, there's been a lot going on in south africa, the unrest in south africa has cost a lot lives I think we should pray for south africa they have lost a valuable players couple with the ongoing Xenophobic attacks. This is the why they deserve our prayer we should pray for peace to return to their country.
