How do you win a WC when 80% of our local leagues are poorly run and funded? and most of our exported players are not starters in their respective clubs and we still have a good amount of them going to a less competitive leagues for money.

The North Africans are the only ones showing some progress because they have the best training facilities and run the best leagues in Africa. Others are far behind..

I agree with some of your point. When we talk about infrastructural development, North Africa is ahead of us, not only in terms of sporting activities but in almost all aspects. Nigeria is not far behind but we have problem of mismanagement.

But 80% poorly run is probably not applicable to Nigeria. Since last year, our local league has improved immensely and the champions reward also increased. We also have about 8 or more players that are regular starters in their respective clubs in Europe top leagues.

If this is a determinant for winning world cup, Nigeria can not be definitely ruled out. Our major problem is instability because there's no way you'll build a solid project under four different managers in space of four years.

I will definitely try and make it to one of the World Cup matches in Morocco by then and I hope it will be a good chance to also bond and explore more business and life opportunities together. Today's World Cup final match between Spain and Argentina is very competitive because we can see that these two teams are playing very carefully. But one thing is surprising that Argentina is playing more defensively in today's match and they are already behind Spain in the battle for possession of the ball. If Spain can attack at the right level and counterattack well then I think they will be able to score first in today's match. I just saw a notification on my phone now that says Super Eagles are congratulating Spain for winning the World Cup and telling them that they’ll meet in 2030 as they target World Cup qualification.

The African teams are not ready to win the World Cup and from the points you’ve given, it is very clear that we are not ready and no matter how we try we have to make sure that where the problem is, it needs to be solved.

We are still far from winning the World Cup, we may just be amongst other African nations to keep escorting them to the World Cup and get to play some few games. Morocco still remains the best and I adore their nature of gameplay, they’re really making us proud for about two World Cup now.

So Argentina had nothing else to do in the match except playing defensively. That's true. But argentina could have tried to score from counterattacks. But they did not  do that either. I would say  that was the weakness of Scaloni's strategy. He  surrendered early. He  gave Spain's players a chance to attack. Even then, I would say argentina was lucky. They did not  concede a goal in  90 minutes. They were able to successfully  repel Spain's dynamic attacks in 90 minutes.

If you watched the match between Spain and France then you will not be here blaming Argentina for chasing their shadows and playing rough on the pitch against Spain. Messi is a specialist if he is having the ball but yesterday there was no chance for him to make dribbles and do all the crosses and Spain was not that offensive for him to be given free kick so everything was against them because Spain played more better in all angles.

There was no good chance created by Argentina that's why we didn't see them making any attempts but if they had won against Spain the whole story would have changed and Messi would be getting all the praises but yesterday the best team win.

Repair what reputation? They got knocked out just like every one else from the game, so what has that got to do with their reputation as a country? Unless there's something else you're pointing to which wasn't revealed in the details, they deserve every chance that they are getting. I'm sure the FIFA administration will not just take their eyes off that nasty Argentine behavior--- they won't sweep it under the carpet because the whole mainstream media carries it. Argentina was very lucky because Spain would have won the match long ago even before the game reaching the extra time. Spain dominated the game and there was no way that the Argentina team could have a chance against them. The manager didn’t give Spain a chance to attack, they fought for it and won it. Spain has been very great from the start of this World Cup, there was nothing like luck to them in this game, they really deserved it seeing how far they’ve come and how they’ve performed to reach this finals. If Argentina have won it, I would have said they were the lucky team to have won it, but they didn’t which made everything goes to the team who truly deserved it amongst all 48 teams that participated in the tournament.

I don't have anything against Morocco, they represented well and I think Many Africans remember them for that. The thing with the Moroccan country is that sometimes they like to alienate themselves or unidentify with Africa this is why many Africans still do not like identifying with them completely because they are an African country but they do not like to be called one. Football is in moving stages and Morocco being the country to do Africa proud in this World Cup, it is very possible that another country in Africa will be the one to lift Africa in high, maybe a country that generally Africans would support. I will like that country to be Nigeria, I will like to witness another era where we dominate football again.

Show me to anywhere on my post that I explicitly stated that I've been active on this thread... Not everyone is interested in the bullshit that happens under CAF. I barely watch those type of matches, especially since Nigeria was knocked out at a very crucial stage.

It was very obvious that Argentina couldn’t get any shots on target in the whole game and that feels a bit frustrating, Well to Me, I feel the result of the rough stuff was as a result of their pattern not working out as planned, all the too many fouls and too much chasing were not enough to completely stop Spain from winning that game yesterday…we all were expected to see just one moment in that game last night, to see the moment of magic that would happen, but it seems like Spain had made a ghost..if you watch closely 3-2 guys were on Messi all the time, there was no space in between the lines…

Argentina did not score a single goal in yesterday's match but they were able to finish the match with enough skill. If you look closely, you will see that Argentina played quite well defensively yesterday. Emiliano Martinez really worked as a hero in yesterday's match. Spain is a strong team. They are the best in ball positions. If there was any other team other than Argentina, maybe Spain could have scored a few more goals in the last match. Because they always attack in the triangle position. Attacking using short passes is one of the strongest attacks. The defense becomes very weak in front of such attacks. But Argentina's defense line and goalkeeper have proven themselves silently. But this was the worst performance match of Argentina this year as the champion team of the 2022 World Cup. Spain really countered very strongly throughout the entire match.
