Don't get it wrong from the message I'm passing across, I'm not saying as if he is not up to that age or more than, that is not the context at which I am coming from, when you are reading someone's idea on a post, you try to focus on the main point am bringing out and not to only single-handedly pick out a particular phrase and use it to draw another line of conclusion on your own, therefore this is not about debating on the age Factor here, but only stating on his competency despite his tender age, if not from the media are you there in his home country or know his parents to confirm his true age?

Every player has priorities. Some of them put money at the top of their scale of preference. So they would gladly accept any offer that comes from the highest bidder. There are also those whose main goal is to win personal awards. Therefore, they will prefer to play in clubs or leagues that have higher possibilities of players winning prestigious awards like the Ballon d'Or.

Adam Akor's annual income in Servillla was €1.88 million. And his annual earning in Venezia €1.5 million, which is a pay cut when compared to his income in Servillla. According some news outlets, the Spanish club had to sell the Nigerian to balance its financial books. The club-record transfer fee of €16 million would help the club reduce its financial challenge. So it now seems that the Nigerian was forced to leave.

This is true but our players just seems to have that money mindset more and it's affecting the national team performance because it's hard to compete when almost all the starting players are playing in a less intense league and also with limited time ( most of them are bench warmers.

Nigerian players have terrible agents; players like Akor should be playing in the PL with a higher salary not some random club in Italy; he's better than most of the players on a 200k/week salary there.. taking a pay cut at the peak of his prime is crazy.

You just explained the reason behind the decision of Osimhen why he wouldn't move to Saudi Pro League right now. He is still very active and staying in Europe will give him the privilege of playing in UEFA Champions League especially with a team like Galatasaray.

Osimhen shouldn’t just make the mistake of going to Saudi pro league now because he will end up regretting it at the end. If Osimhen can go to Saudi pro league, I feel he has destroyed his career already. Osimhen is a talented player, and he shouldn’t kill his career just because of money. Osimhen should just stay in Galatasaray for now, I know top teams are still going to come for him, but if he goes to Saudi pro league, we might not really hear from him again.

Victor Osimhen should move to a club in Saudi pro league when he is old already, he can go their to earn more money, and he won’t really be stressing himself at Saudi pro league, but for now he should just focus more on his career. I know the kind of player Osimhen is, I don’t think he will also want to leave Galatasaray for a club in Saudi pro league.

Victor Osimhen is a baby in the world of football, so let him explore and make that money when he still can. Going to Saudi Professional League would be a miscalculation that he might regret for the rest of his life; money not everything.

Before he should be considering that move, perhaps, he would be in his 35th year, which is still 8 years from now. I'm still not satisfied with the Galatasaray that he is, but it's better than SPL where he would bury is career. I hope he could spend a few more years where he is  and quickly move to either top clubs in EPL, Laliga or PSG in Ligue 1. Since he already experienced Serie A, rotating within the three leagues would be perfect.
As a Nigerian that I am , I will say that Osimhen should go to where ever is bringing the highest amount of money. After all Victor Osimhen is not going to win the Ballon dior, there is something that we are trying to miss here especially in this Victor Osimhen situation and that, is non of the big teams in Europe is ready to bring him  in. Even the once that are ready is telling him to bring down his wages which is not fair to me. If Victor Osimhen was a European or even south American player would he find himself in this type of situation with all his efforts and goals he had scored so far. If a team from the Saudi league is ready to meet up his wage valuation and is even ready to up it Osimhen should go, and forget about all these stories about he still has time on him , Osimhen should go for the money after all players like Ronaldinho today are  broke with all the Ballon diors, champions League and even the world cup which he won while playing.

Bro leave that thing, most players I come in contact with that has opportunities to go abroad and play do so with the mindset of elevating their families from hardship, so they always focus on the money because as my guy often says "Football no get pension" which means there is no pension plan for footballers, especially in this part of the world. I am not saying all of them go with that mindset, but a lot of them do.

Lol Saudi and a Bundesliga club coming for a Super eagles's player? We already know where he's headed right  Grin an average African professional footballers would tell you there's no pension after football career. Raphael Onyedika would chase the money, it's a super eagles thing; money first before career.

They're not ambitious and doesn't care about winning trophies and building a decent career; they play for the highest bidders.

Sadly, we've seen such deals for players like Victor Boniface and Victor Osimhen in the past. But how did shit go for them?! They literally saw those deals slip away from their hands, and both links for these players came from tue Saudi Arabian league.

I feel he would swing toward German league. But if that was me, I will move just tue way Summerville did from West Ham United play two seasons and return to a top European side after two seasons. The Saudi Arabian league more competitive than the French league 1 according to Cristiano Ronaldo. I see it differently, even the Brazilian Oscar moved to China for money, lol.

If Victor Osimhen wants to play for money then what you said is correct. But if he wants to show more of his playing skills then he should play in the English Premier League, for a good team. Because his skills are amazing which will allow him to score more goals. If he plays for a good team maybe he will not earn as much money but more people will know about his skills and playing skills. So I want Victor Osimhen to play in the English Premier League from my personal opinion. Since he can put a lot of pressure on the opponent's defenders, it is expected that his goal score will increase.

I know the kind of player Osimhen is, I don’t think he will also want to leave Galatasaray for a club in Saudi pro league.

Osimehn is a kind of player that is hungry for success, to win trophies to his name and not about gathering a whole lot of money. He has been playing quite well and I really adore how good he has kept his feet and the titles he has won to his name. His name is still a big one in Europe and if he still remains in Europe, he’ll still get to add more trophies to his name. Saudi Pro League is now seen as a league where players go to earn money only and not after trophies again, but I still feel the league is not that bad and still competitive to play in. We shall get to see Osimhen’s next big move from Galatasaray.

Our Nigerian brother Raphael Onyedika who plays for the Belgium 🇧🇪 side Club Brugge is currently linked with a move to Frankfurt in the German Bundesliga league competition.

A Saudi Arabian Club are all over the deal though attempting to persuade him too. He was seen recently with Victor Boniface spending their holidays together in the east training together and playing with the people in the street. I believe he will want to make the move to German Bundesliga and not be influenced by the approach of At ittihad.
Wow, congratulations to Raphael Onyedika for the two offers on his table right now, I believe his performance for the Super Eagles in the African Cup of Nations triggered a club in Germany and a club in Saudi Arabia to be interested in him. Raphael Onyedika shouldn't listen to anyone on which offer to accept, he should go to Saudi Arabia and make all the money he can make because there's life after he retires from football, signing for Al lttihad can give him the opportunity to earn the money that will sustain him after retirement.

Top PL teams wanted him, let's be honest and they were literally all over him before he moved to The urkey the deal only failed because he's was demanding for a big paycheck. he choose money over playing in the PL when he had the chance - it's the same story with almost all of them and also they're lazy;

I remembered one time that Chelsea wanted to sign Boniface but the link didn't last for toon long and his agent never pushed the deal.

As a Nigerian that I am , I will say that Osimhen should go to where ever is bringing the highest amount of money.

I believe that if he were interested in making a lot of money, he would have already gone to the Saudi league instead of Galatasaray. Deep down, it seems to me that he dreams of playing for the big clubs in the Premier League and La Liga.

After all Victor Osimhen is not going to win the Ballon dior

After George Weah won the Ballon d'Or, no other African player has won it. At most, Sadio Mané came in second in 2022. We Africans have only had bad luck.

there is something that we are trying to miss here especially in this Victor Osimhen situation and that, is non of the big teams in Europe is ready to bring him  in.

I agree, unfortunately these big clubs aren't interested in him, at least I'm not seeing that in the news. I see big clubs easily paying 100 million dollars for players who don't even reach Victor Osimhen's high level. I don't know what bad luck this guy has that he isn't noticed by the big European clubs. It seems that when you play in Serie A other big clubs lose interest. Look at Lautaro Martinez, a great Inter player, I don't see any big club interested in him. Rafael Leão, from Milan, same thing.

How old is Osimhen? From what i could come up with i think he should be in his late 20s right now. Well, Victor's Osimhen is a good player but in his prime years If he goes Saudi now, it really would feel like pressing pause on his career this very correct…well, a bit on a second thought does he even have anything to lose because he's going there and also going to get paid with fat and juicy salary weekly so in my own personal perspective….the truth is that this guy has also proved to so many teams he played for like Galatsaray and Napoli that he still remain one of the top played 9s in the football history…so you are asking him to go to SPL now all because you want him to achieve cups and win some many league…. I think you meant to say players like  Ronaldo, Benzema, and Mane, are the ones who should be there now..

Congratulations for being a Nigerian, it's a good one!

That aside, money is not everything, as glory is important as well. And who told you that Victor cannot win ballon d'or? No one of his age and tallent should be written-off so quickly.

Also, have you considered Champion League attached to his name? He still has enough to explore and wish for in the next 10 years.

At the end of the day, the decision is for Raphael Onyedika to make. Al Ittihad I believe are very much aware of the current age of the Nigerian midfielder so you should expect them to drop huge offer for him but at Frankfurt, he'll get the opportunity of playing in one of the top five leagues in Europe. When you look at it, there's no much difference between a person playing in Al Ittihad and the one playing in Frankfurt. The Saudi League now has all the global attention he needs to still be seen. Let's see where he finally commits his future.

Yes a move to Saudi Arabia now is never the best option for osimhen that is if he wishes to at more to his football history and not chase money as if he is old.
At osimhen's age and potentials he posses now, i will say all he needs now is to look for a team where he will have some good chances of ranking himself and not pushing for money now, if he does now his name will go off the mouth of all because Saudi Arabia's league do not have what is needed for the world to know him more better. What a young and talented player like him should be thinking of now is fame amd more records to his name maybe to a certain stage in his football life.

Of course you’re correct, it’s all about the money with them, we all saw Victor Boniface ready to go to Saudi Arabia before the club finally signed Jhon Duran.

Nigerians football players mostly build their careers just to break out from poverty, and it’s not common with just them but theirs comes with zero ambitions, it’s just a few who tend to break out from this sects most notably Victor Osimhen because if it was just money he would have gone to Saudi a long time. Nobody should pray he goes there.

Nigerian players have terrible agents; players like Akor should be playing in the PL with a higher salary not some random club in Italy; he's better than most of the players on a 200k/week salary there.. taking a pay cut at the peak of his prime is crazy.

I cannot agree less with you because take for instance the transfers of Oshimen for instance, from been top 8 in the ballon d’or ranking and not been able to get a premier league team or at least Europe top 5 team even with the scarcity of strikers and Osihmen numbers is actually frustrating. Another player is Ademola Lookman who was already confirmed to Fernabache until Atletico Madrid threw in a die time bid to save him, so with all his numbers he had put up his best shot was the Turkey league again.

Now to Akor Adams 30k wages and this is not playing for a bigger club that we would say he dropped his wages to do that but a promoted side which might end up getting relegated next season. A better agent will have gotten him signed at a mid table team in the premier league and wouldn’t be earning less than 75000 wage and would be at a better league for visibility but I don’t understand why he had to go to Venezia of all clubs seriously

Most players, you know? What about the hundreds of thousands you don't know? Africa's economic conditions will always affect our players' mindset. European and American players would have this mindset more than Africans because their economy is good. The players have better chances of surviving after retirement. However, some African players have turned down lucrative contracts because they want to play in top leagues.

I cannot agree less with you because take for instance the transfers of Oshimen for instance, from been top 8 in the ballon d’or ranking and not been able to get a premier league team or at least Europe top 5 team even with the scarcity of strikers and Osihmen numbers is actually frustrating. I would have to accept that some African players and their agents should be blamed for their inability to seal deals in top clubs. But we should also consider how these players are maltreated by some European clubs. In some cases, the player would have to revolt for clubs to consider or accept their transfer bid. African players are usually frustrated by some clubs when they have good offers. They will either increase their transfer sum or use other reasons to block the transfer. The case of Lookman and Osimhen are typical examples.

We went too far using Akor as an example. Let's take Osimhen as an instance. Osimhen is better than Delap, whom Chelsea bought last season, yet Delap landed a striker role for Chelsea. I am still in shock at how they chose Delap over Nicholas Jackson. Anyways, the agents and their nationality have always been the problem for most African players. Only a few of them made it to elite clubs, which is not appreciated.

The news surrounding Akor Adams on his new transfer, Tolu Arokodare's demotion to the U21 team, and Chikwezie returning to his former club after Fulham refused to activate the buy clause is sad.

Osimhen should explore what exactly? If he is the kind that doesn't care much about the football he plays I don't think we would see him showing this effort of getting his name known and I like what you said @EarnOnVictor, Osimhen have a bigger chance of getting close to that award if not winning it, it would be better if he joins a better club to be included among those to win the Ballon d'or. Sometimes people think that money is everything but they forget that the glory as you said is also important. If Osimhen wins the Champions League with the way he score goals it will push him closer to the biggest individual award every player wants to get.
