Victor Osimhen is a baby in the world of football, so let him explore and make that money when he still can. Going to Saudi Professional League would be a miscalculation that he might regret for the rest of his life; money not everything. Before he should be considering that move, perhaps, he would be in his 35th year, which is still 8 years from now. I'm still not satisfied with the Galatasaray that he is, but it's better than SPL where he would bury is career. I hope he could spend a few more years where he is and quickly move to either top clubs in EPL, Laliga or PSG in Ligue 1. Since he already experienced Serie A, rotating within the three leagues would be perfect. As a Nigerian that I am , I will say that Osimhen should go to where ever is bringing the highest amount of money. After all Victor Osimhen is not going to win the Ballon dior, there is something that we are trying to miss here especially in this Victor Osimhen situation and that, is non of the big teams in Europe is ready to bring him in. Congratulations for being a Nigerian, it's a good one! That aside, money is not everything, as glory is important as well. And who told you that Victor cannot win ballon d'or? No one of his age and tallent should be written-off so quickly. Also, have you considered Champion League attached to his name? He still has enough to explore and wish for in the next 10 years. Osimhen should explore what exactly? If he is the kind that doesn't care much about the football he plays I don't think we would see him showing this effort of getting his name known and I like what you said @EarnOnVictor, Osimhen have a bigger chance of getting close to that award if not winning it, it would be better if he joins a better club to be included among those to win the Ballon d'or. Sometimes people think that money is everything but they forget that the glory as you said is also important. If Osimhen wins the Champions League with the way he score goals it will push him closer to the biggest individual award every player wants to get. Victor Osimhen is a good player he has also proven to good in any club he found him self, Osimhen is not playing for money now he has consider his age and want to achieve more in his carrier probably winning the uefa champions league and also some individual awards but let it not be that the reason he doesn't want to go for money is because he want to win the Balloon d' Or award if this is his reason i will advise him to go make money so he can still be rich after retirement because winning the Balloon d' Or as an African player is very impossible FIFA won't allow it.

That is our problem as Nigerians, we think is always about money but we sometimes forget that the player in question have more time to play in Europe and get some awards that will last forever till the next 10 generations to come but that money will come and go, nobody will talk about it especially when you can't manage that money. There are things we should consider, the football has a period when the body isn't going to be that strong again but for Osimhen is too early and when that time comes for him to retire we won't be here talking about him not going for money but glory so let him make name for himself first before we talk about money making. You never can tell what would happen in the next 2 seasons if he'd be given that award.

Osimhen has proven his quality since playing for Lille, Napoli, and Galatasaray. He has always been the main spearhead for the clubs he has played for. He also finished as Serie A top scorer in the 2022/23 season and played a key role in helping Napoli win the Scudetto. Osimhen mentality, physique and finishing are truly world class, he is truly worthy of playing for a big European club because he has everything needed to be a main striker. He is currently in his prime age to pursue success. I hope he can one day move to a club capable of competing for the Champions League trophy, such as PSG, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Barcelona. If he manages to win the UCL trophy, the Domestic League, the African Cup with Nigeria, and is supported by individual awards, his chances of winning the Ballon d'Or are very high. because winning the Balloon d' Or as an African player is very impossible FIFA won't allow it.
I need to clear up this misunderstanding, FIFA has never banned African players from winning the Ballon d'Or, previously George Weah became the first and only African player to win the Ballon d'Or, at that time he played for Milan, Sadio Mane also finished in the Runner-up position in 2022, Drogba, Eto'o and Yaya Toure have also been in the top 10 many times. Admittedly, the path to winning the Ballon d'Or is very difficult, but anyone can win it as long as their performance is the most outstanding.

He has the talent, energy and mentality, he just needs the team that will announce him and also help him win more awards as a player, But regardless, he has his office reason for that, but I will love he play in the premier league, or Laliga and with that he will even have a better chance of winning the champions league and all of these titles will go a long way to increase or boost his rating and make him eligible for some awards like the ballon d’or.

It’s all about the money. Even the best player in Nigeria currently Victor Osimhen would have been in the Saudi Pro League if Napoli had not declined their offer.
Actually, it was Osimhen who rejected the offer of going to the Saudi Pro league due to reasons.best known to him, anything anyone is saying is the reason as to why he rejected the offer is mere speculation as the player himself didn't give reasons for his refusal. And I respect that, after all his the one that was approached. Yeah, I agree with that it's not all players that are after the money, some still want fame and even the chance to play in the biggest league if any club from there comes knocking. Others wants where they will be accepted and loved, that too could be another reason why some players reject big money moves. A world class player who is very sure of himself that he is still relevant to play in top European leagues wouldn't be in a hurry to go to big money Leagues that are not in Europe, if they do it would be perceived that they are no longer relevant to be called by too European clubs. I guess that Osimhen, believes in himself that he has the potentials to play in top European leagues before considering the option of going to a club in Saudi Arabian league, to perhaps finish the remaining of his career there. I don't think that top players are in a hurry to go to the Saudi, league, they might fear that it would be difficult to return to European league because that is where they play the highest level of football. If a very good player finds out that he cannot cope in top European leagues it is better to play for the money and go to a club that will pay for their comfortable retirement. Valid point too, as for Osimhen, he made his choice and only him knows why he's still in Europe but if I were in his position, I would go for that Saudi offer, after all the Saudi Pro league isn't what it used to be 10 years ago, now it has changed and the league organisers and government at large are trying to bring life into it. It is now widely known after the signing of Ronaldo. Now greater numbers of persons do watch the league compared to previous years back. Most times as an African, playing for Europe doesn't give you a sit at the table, only few African has made their names in the continent and it's not even talked about as much as the European players itself. Look at George Weah, even after being the only African to win that award, his not talked about that much. If I'm in that position, I will go for the money because after retirement, it's the money you made and the investment you have you will fall back to, no one will pay you for winning trophies or awards again after your retirement.

Many players prioritize money, while others want trophies and a place in football history. However, when money is earned, everyone thinks about trophies. For example, Cristiano Ronaldo has won all the trophies in his life except the World Cup trophy. However, Victor Osimhen has played for many reputed clubs in different countries of the world including Napoli, Wolfsburg Club and is also a regular striker for the Nigerian national team. He has proven himself as a good player everywhere and is currently playing for a club in Turkey. But good salary and big trophies are both necessary for a player and everyone tries their best to maintain their existence in different big clubs in Europe including the Champions League to build their good career and big identity. And these may be important goals for him, but what will be Victor Osimhen's next goal and objective is his personal decision. As far as I know, his contract is until 29 and after that, his age will depend on his performance. If he wants to choose a club where there is a high chance of winning big titles, then that is his logical decision. Because winning big titles increases both name and price. On the other hand, it is also important to remember that according to the rules, the Ballon d'Or is not given by FIFA. It is organized by France Football and the winner is determined by the vote of international journalists. Although it cannot be said that FIFA will not allow it directly, it cannot be denied indirectly. However, popularity, media coverage and the influence of big clubs and the player's performance in European competitions play an important role in the voting for the Ballon d'Or, and if Africans cannot play there, it is really very difficult to achieve it.

He knows what's best for him and if he really wants to get to that height of success I think he should choose a bigger club that is bigger than Galatasaray because if he keeps playing for the club then it will be hard to get far into the semis of the champions league, if he gets knocked out in the league phase or round of 16 he will be forgotten too quickly because people will focus more on the teams getting to the quarter final and semi finals before we talk about the finals. Osimhen have too many chances to play for these top leagues but the problem is how many are ready to get his signature? I honestly like to see him playing for any big side in the EPL or La Liga.

Money is not everything, that's understandable, but why do we all spend majority of our adult lives chasing same money that isn't everything? Isn't it supposed to be weird and concerning? Personally, glory doesn't put food on the table for anyone especially these days that football has evolved and everything about it is money, I can give you a list of players who got glory but are dead broke currently, the glory isn't paying their bills right now. I'm not delusional, there's no way in this world Osimhen is never going to win the balloon d'Or not in his dreams even. Wake up this is reality and not play station, as for champions league, he can win it only of he joins a better team in the top 5 leagues and not at Gala that's his currently playing at.

I am supporting team Nigeria for they have being the most successful team in the history of this competition and it's most certain they're going to defend and win the title back again. When it comes to the women's AFCON competition I don't see any team standing as strong contender to the Super Falcons.

The CAF Women's African Cup Of Nations kicked off today. It seems like there's not much interest about the tournament because it's rarely discussed here.
The host nation Morocco started off in a very good fashion by beating Kenya 4:0 in the tournament's opener. Another game of the group A was played between Algeria and Senegal with Senegal running away with all three points after beating their opponents with a 2:0 scoreline.

Even the once that are ready is telling him to bring down his wages which is not fair to me. If Victor Osimhen was a European or even south American player would he find himself in this type of situation with all his efforts and goals he had scored so far. If a team from the Saudi league is ready to meet up his wage valuation and is even ready to up it Osimhen should go, and forget about all these stories about he still has time on him , Osimhen should go for the money after all players like Ronaldinho today are broke with all the Ballon diors, champions League and even the world cup which he won while playing. If I am Victor Osimhen shoe, my major target clubs will be the Saudi Arabia club side since that is where the money is and the ability to get featured in most important game in the league. Victor had alot ahead of him and he shouldn't allow European clubs to frustrate his promising football future, bringing down his waged just to fit into their league os not a smart decision. Most African players are under valued, no matter their capacity on the pitch their are treated as less desirable, but then I will change the moment the players place priority right and move to clubs where they are valued and appreciated.

Is Morocco the only country that could host this African women cup of nation? because they were the ones that hosted the previous one and this time is still them. However is a league that I have always been believing in one outcome and that's for the Nigerian Super falcons to win as they have always been. The Algeria women match and Senegal was a victory in favour of Algeria, it was 2:0. However Morocco's match they would definitely win there opponent because there women are also very competitive in this league but there most challenge in the group would be Algeria because they are also as competitive as them.
