The Women African cup of Nations has officially kicked off  with the match between Senegal and Algeria. The Hosts Morocco will be playing later this night. The super falcons are already in camp and as expected, they already have brought up a positive energy and you can tell that they are mentally ready to give us what we have always known them for. i am a big fan of all that the super falcons represents and certainly, i will be rooting for them to successfully defend their title yet again. With Nigeria failing to qualify for the world cup, it will be expected that the super falcons performs will bring a sense pf joy back to the nation considering that the super eagle have recently failed to live up to the title of being looked at as the giant of Africa.

Nigeria has the ability to host international matches,we have hosted international matches on many occasions. Although the Godswil international stadium is the only approved stadium by CAF to host international matches,the Abiola moshood stadium if it's renovated can also be used to host international matches.
However, these three nations you mentioned in your above post have standard stadiums too but South Africa has the best stadiums than the all three, morroco, Algeria and Egypt. So if they is one country that should be regarded as the best host for international matches then it's south Africa.

It is not only the goalkeeper that has made a record from the world cup, the Cabo goalkeeper Vozinha will be moving to Chilean club Colo-Colo and at the age he is, the move to this South American side is being celebrated because his new salary is significantly higher than what he usually receives with his old club.

That goal was a really stunning goal against Argentina, and personally that goal was the best goal I really enjoyed throughout the tournament and it was also my best game of the tournament. I mean the round of 32 clash between Argentina and Cape Verde. Sidney lopes Cabral really had a great game that day and caped it off with such an amazing goal, overall he and his teammates had a great tournament and I’m sure if not that he already signed for Trabzonspor in the Turkish league just a month before the World Cup, he would have been one of the most sort after player by different top clubs in Europe Top five leagues. Trabzonspor were lucky enough to have signed him earlier if not he would have Cost them more than the amount they paid for him especially with this kind of performance in the World Cup.

This is actually where the problem is, many of the players don’t build wealth out of football when they’re still actively playing. When they retire, and don’t earn that huge amount of money again, they later become broke or don’t get to live those fancy lifestyles again as they don’t have enough money on them to maintain such lifestyle anymore. Talking of Ronaldinho, there was a time he also went broke and news had it that it was Messi that helped him out. Now that he’s an ambassador of a bet company, I don’t think he’ll go that broke again that he can’t fend for himself. Some players lifestyle after football become a thing of pity, but they most of them are making it also more after retirement for planning it well before retiring from football.

Some say chasing after glory is better, then I ask, after retirement will the said glory put foot on his table? I remember Oscar of Chelsea, when the Chinese league came calling with a mouth watering offer, he left to make the money, as at few days ago, I saw a post of him and how much he made in China Vs how much he would have made if he was still playing in Europe. The difference was very clear, even after making less in Europe compared to what he made in China, out of that money, majority of it would have gone to the taxing system. They were the only small team to go unbeaten in regular time and it was their first loss that saw them get removed from the competition. Honestly, Cape Verde didn't just come to play football, they managed to stamp their name in history and also create a mark for themselves. Cabral scored the goal and it was a very beautiful one, something that had Emi Martinez scrambling to recover it but couldn't, it was so extraordinary that the scorer couldn't believe it himself and had his hands on his head. The reckless lifestyle of most players is the reason why they go extremely broke after they are done or will I say retire from their football career, the amount those guys make from the weekly salary they are been paid is suppose to serve them and their next generation if they invest properly in valuable assets, when they amount some of them receive is been mentioned and converted to Nigeria currency, it is too much, I don't know why it is difficult for most of them to invest, some end up buying luxury cars, houses which they may likely not be able to maintain later and probably sell them off and still squander the money later on.

I like your statement and advice you are giving here, if you look at the former players of the Nigerian Super Eagles in their early 90s, you will discover that many of them later develop complicated health challenges and couldn't afford to treat themselves because of how they lavish their money when they were trending without investing on what could give them an everlasting peace and source of income, I know how many will always think that things will continue to work the same way it has always been, the moment we are missing out on opportunities shows that we are putting the Future at a risk because we may not be able to manage some living standard independently after we must have retired of what we are used to do.

Victor Osimhen is a baby in the world of football, so let him explore and make that money when he still can. Going to Saudi Professional League would be a miscalculation that he might regret for the rest of his life; money not everything.

Before he should be considering that move, perhaps, he would be in his 35th year, which is still 8 years from now. I'm still not satisfied with the Galatasaray that he is, but it's better than SPL where he would bury is career. I hope he could spend a few more years where he is  and quickly move to either top clubs in EPL, Laliga or PSG in Ligue 1. Since he already experienced Serie A, rotating within the three leagues would be perfect.

As a Nigerian that I am , I will say that Osimhen should go to where ever is bringing the highest amount of money. After all Victor Osimhen is not going to win the Ballon dior, there is something that we are trying to miss here especially in this Victor Osimhen situation and that, is non of the big teams in Europe is ready to bring him  in.

If he is the kind that doesn't care much about the football he plays I don't think we would see him showing this effort of getting his name known and I like what you said @EarnOnVictor, Osimhen have a bigger chance of getting close to that award if not winning it, it would be better if he joins a better club to be included among those to win the Ballon d'or. I don’t see Victor osimhen leaving Galatasaray anytime soon, his receiving good amount of money in Galatasaray and they love him so much, so I don’t think his going to leave the club next year.

Of course, you don't expect them to sit idle and watch when they have nothing to fall back to. Don't you think you're justifying my point that some of them become poor after their retirement? I will focus on Jay Jay Okocha since we are discussing African players. He advertise betking and that's part of hustling. He's still relevant today because he planned smart and invested at home.

You can not compare Okocha to other African players that didn't plan for life after football. Let talk of late Rashidi Yekini, Amunike that came out clean acknowledging their financial hardship. There would be smart ones among them that plan ahead and Okocha is among the smart ones but few among them were carried away with what they were earning at that time. In Osimhen case, I made it clear that he should spend some time in Europe before moving to Saudi league for money. The more money you earn, the more investment you can build.
