The issue should be coming from how the club is being managed because poor team management can leads to what we are seeing in the super eagles. If a team is not properly manage even with the best players it will not be possible to be consistent in winning. Well, I think this is literally the best that we can get from this very shitty system. The footballing federation are literally the primary problem, and has always been the problem. Team management has been very poor in the past years, and it's very difficult to imagine if we're ever going to get it right in the future. We've successfully failed to participate in two back to back WCs, despite being one of the very best in Africa some years back... Who knows?, we might also start struggling to make it to the Afcon if care is not taking.

I hate to say this, but if the federation thinks they can't keep up with the team management and make up for all the disappointments, then they should stop participating in competitions. Just so you know, paying player's salary is not the same as team management, although it's a part of it.

Our players are big guys they are doing so well in their respective clubs but when they come to represent Nigeria they don't ply with their heart because they are not well taken care of and some of the players are not treated nice.  The NFF is the board that is killing the team if there is a better replacement for the person in thdt office there will be good changes in the national team and the Nigerian football entirely.

Super eagles are not lacking any training, they actually have all the training they need to win any match on there way, if I'm not mistaken all the super eagles are currently playing from one club to another and their leagues are currently ongoing so if they could perform well in those places how come we would say they're lacking enough training?. I just hope is not going to be another shameful match for them again since they are losing to an underestimated country, is difficult for them to completely get the trust of everyone since they couldn't be consistent because at the moment they would seem like people who wouldn't loss match but the next one is another lost.

If the super eagles is gonna lose any of their matches, you will have to blame the Nigerian government for that not the players.
The government is responsible for everything that is happening to the super eagles because I know that we have good players that are doing well in their international clubs but when it comes to playing for Nigeria, the mostly fuck up due to how they are treated due to the way the NFF is operating on low budget when the government is  allocating billions of naira for the wages of the players.

I know that government has been absent minded regarding their responsibility to the national team but however within this league we have seen a different decline from the team which I wouldn't agree that it was because of the government, and besides if there is anytime they should have been more focus is now that those corrupt NFF president and few members are no more among the management since they have resigned, honestly I understand the reason why you are blaming the government but however we have not even seen anything that shows that the players will start doing well if they stop owing them.

Even if the bad performance of the super eagles in the first round of the Africa cup of nations qualifiers was because of the absence of Victor Osimhen in the super eagles team poor management of the team from the NFF is the main issue why players are not playing the way they are supposed to play and it also contributed to the bad performance of the super eagles. If Victor Osimhen feature for the super eagles in the second round of Africa cup of nations qualifiers i am optimistic there will be a change in the performance of the super eagles.

JoyceBTC I will completely agree on that currently in the world, we have a striker that is world class such as Victor osimeh despite world politics in the football that they don't want to see him in that regard because of being a black his performance always show capability NFF management is meant to see how it will make the team bring interest in defending their quality to which fans look onto them as they played outside the nation, most of our super eagles players are in one clubs to another which are doing extremely well, coming home and lowing people expectations without result is NFF inability to manage them properly.

Look at Enyimba FC that used to be the pride of our Nigerian Premier League, the are now a joke. Look deeply and you will see that it is not a player issue but a leadership issue.
Back to the Super Eagles and the NFF, once the NFF wakes up to reality, the who super eagles and falcon teams will be transformed for good.

You just said the fact. The players are not happy, that’s why they are not always performing well when they are representing us. NFF has been compromised already, and the players don’t have even access to the necessary things which they are suppose to be provided with, so I feel most of them are not just satisfied playing for the country. But seriously the players  are suppose to change their mindset, we the citizens are always happy to see them play, but at the end we are always disappointed with their performance. They should forget about NFF, the system is corrupt already, they should just represent us well, and make us proud.

With the kind of players the super eagles are having, they are not suppose to be struggling in matches, no African country is having the kind of squad the super eagles are having, but we are always finding it difficult to win matches. Most of those players will go to their clubs and they going to start performing well there.

I don't understand what you mean by the world doesn't want to see Victor Osimhen as one of the best strikers because he is black, sincerely I don't think I buy into this idea, what else do you want the world to do to Victor Osimhen, he is one of the highest paid players in the Turkish league, at least he is among the top 4 highest paid player in that league, he is competing in the champions League as the leading striker from his club Galatasaray, bro Osimhen already has all the flowers, nobody is looking at him less or in a condescending manner.

This is very true,  the blame on the players alone is not the only reason they performed poorly,  I believe it is not news how poorly the team has been managed recently,  somehow I also think if Osimhen is there, not much will really change. He will do his best but it still may not cancel out completely the effect of poor management on the team.

Other team who has got star players like Osimhen does make sure to combine it with good management and get the best results they can get. So the whole supposed failure or poor performance is not only about having Osimhen around.  The NFF needs to put in the work to get the team and everthing concerning its management fixed so that they will not continue with this poor performance and eventually get worse than can be imagined.

We hope so, but I want to reiterate that Osimhen can't take the Super Eagles to victory alone; it's a combined effort by the whole squad.
Tanzania is the country the Super Eagles are to face in a month. Who knows whether Tanzania will shock us as Guinea-Bissau did, knowing fully well they haven't won against the Super Eagles before, and it's a home match for them

The main reason for the poor performance of the Nigerian football team is bad management and even if oshimen was on the pitch, the match may have still ended the way it went. Our hopes is that the management should try to figure out what aspects or areas they are not doing well, so that by next match there will be an improvement in the team performance.
The players alone are not to be blamed for the outcome of this match .

Is it not better for them not to play at all if they feel that the NFF is not doing well in terms of welfare, rather than being listed to represent the nation and they end up not giving in their best, those European clubs they play for are they often times 100% perfect? Don’t such clubs still have one or two challenges? Manchester united players for example that are underperforming is it because of poor welfare? Don’t you see in matches whereby Lionel Messi players won’t play well but yet you will feel Messi’s impact.

Truth is i don’t feel that welfare is the reason why the Super Eagles players aren’t playing well, they ain’t even poor or hungry because most of them play for big clubs so welfare shouldn’t be their excuse, a good player is a good player and will give his best regardless of his team you must still feel his impact because he knows that once he keeps on performing well he is invariably selling himself and promoting his career.

Two wrongs can’t make a right, the fact NFF isn’t doing well doesn’t stop the Super Eagle players from doing their best, to the best of my knowledge there haven’t been a time when Nigerian players got good welfare, i remember some years back when it was rumored that the Nigerian government left the Super eagles in a particular country and didn’t pay for their return flight ticket, it was Michel Obi that later paid, but yet even with the poor welfare in the past, previous Nigerian players like Kanu, Okocha, Taribo etc still wrote their names in time regardless of the poor welfare, so you see this current Super Eagles don’t have any excuse for their incompetence.
