The cryptotycoons SmartCoin pool is currently down. I am awaiting their reply as to what is going on there.
It's been down a while. i wasted half a day on it with my miners just sitting. pissed. |

SmartCoin is very much alive and is quite profitable to mine. am i missing something? i calculated profitability and the result was not really good? @1MH you'll get 0.00464085 a day. so, unless you have free electricity, you might even lose money (pending on where you live/power costs). There are coins which give you 2.5x (and more) that profit, so what am I missing here? I took the numbers from cryptsy & the block explorer. |

Uh, every time someone says "omg guys the block reward is about to half!" the value does not increase at all. Seriously, that's a myth. I don't know why people still say this because it has been shown to be blatantly false at least a dozen times in the past 3 or 4 months. Dude, refresh the page in like 30 seconds and watch it change. The coins listed on coinwars jump around like kids with ADD. |
