Yeah, exactly like Bitcoin was a worthless dog a few years ago, now they're wish they had invested something.

It's pocket change for them and it's a fact they're going into Bitcoin, hardcore, just as I predicted last year, while Andreas was spewing nonsense about banks hating Bitcoin.  Lol.

So if they're buying tons of Bitcoin, you guys really think they're not gonna mitigate that risk by buying some alt coins?  If nothing else, buying alt coins is a nice and cheap hedge for them, like buying cheap Options to hedge a stock bet.  And best case, one of these alt coins turns out to be Bitcoin 2.0 for them.

Either way, I'd be shocked if they're weren't buying up tons of alt coins.  And if they are, we'll know within the next 6 months.

Well it's June. Do we have a date or expected time to some of developments mention in the works? Coin value has gone up a bit.

If any coin out there needs promoting it's Smartcoin. way undervalued and nearly unheard of. The coin dev here should strongly consider using the services of the post above this one. Anything will help. Set a date for x-11 or scrypt-n and then pos and promote the hell out of it. Work on the ano feature while all thats going on.

Currently there are some items scheduled for the next release, including X11, PoS (these two are not finalized but very likely), updating to latest Litecoin code, Android version, and a few misc items. Development would be faster if there was funding for it, but it is still a serious crypto currency with real time support.

Please bear in mind that because the community plays a large role in the value and growth of a coin, any independent initiatives involving the crypto ecosystem are highly encouraged. These can be as simple as making a sticker and putting it on your bike, or more complex like integrating SMC as a currency into a gaming or trade platform.

Its been awhile, totally forgot about SMC. Had to sell my SMC a month ago for about 20$ from my initial 2000$ investment which sucks. Had to start rebuilding my capital back.

I know this might be crazy but I think a relaunch of SMC would be the best thing for this coin with all the new features that are now developed along with creating a thread to record everyone that has SMC and simply compensate the old SMC holders with the new SMC coins (a small premine should do the job).

I doubt people would disagree, everyone lost alot already and their investment's are basically dead so relaunching SMC now might get their investment back along with possible big profit.

I'm sure there are extra devs on the forum that would participate in the relaunch.

Wow, I didn't think it was that bad.

I'm not sure if you're suggesting a relaunch or a coin swap.  I'm not sure how a coin swap is going to add any value if that's what you're referring to.  It would mean more new pre mining and nobody is gonna buy into that.

54.3 million total are scheduled to be created through mining and there are 14,591,158 SMC right now.

54 million is pretty high and it's not needed.  Coins like dark coin have cut back the max cap significantly.  Dark cut it from 88 million to 22 million.

Maybe on the next code update reduce the max cap to something like 30 million.

That would allow for plenty of more years of mining and cutting the cap in half would add instant value to all current ad future buyers.
