In the official announcement it only says mint pal has been commfermed to do the switch

I have some (old) SAT into wallet (v2.0.0.0).
Sync is strange once display that sync is ok , few minutes latter that 37581 blocks left to download.
Is 26 active connections.

What can I do to safely move/convert SAT to SAT2 ?

Do I need to send SAT to Mintpal (to automatic conversion)?

I sent some saturncoin from cryptsy to mintpal and they are now a pending transaction (made the transaction 18 hours ago)

My question is, what will happen if my coins are still in transaction when the conversion from SAT=SAT2 is made?

will i loose my coins?

hope one of you can help me out, the transaction needs 999 confirms, and have been pending for 18hours

Sending coins between exchanges is never a good idea. You can check the conformations at mintpal here: https://www.mintpal.com/deposits

I tried twice to send (small amount) funds to Mintpal.
But is not confirmed in the wallet (Status 0 from 2 uncommitted). The wallet does not want to synchronize.

Question:
1. 30 june is deadline to send old SAT to Mintpal?

2. What can I do to send this coins?

It will be launched on 30th June 2014, converting automatically all existing old SAT coins into the new SAT² currency.

The change will be completely transparent for users, that will have their SAT moved to SAT² and ready for new market.

That doesn't tell me anything.  There are coins from a new blockchain now.  How can you put more coins in than aren't created yet by proof of work or proof of stake.  I don't understand how this is possible. Unless the devs are mining and going to give those coins to people...

Are you using the latest SAT wallet? The latest windows wallet is v2.2.2.0

No, old wallet 2.0.0.0 (from february).

I download now 2.2.2.0 and try it. Thanks for info.

EDIT: Walet is not sync. Left: 37409 blocks (not move any block).

And try sync again.

EDIT: wallet was sync OK I sent SAT to Mintpal , was confirmed in wallet and visible as PENDING in MintPal.
Need wait for 999 confirmations  (~24 h???
