I just opened the pool and found the information as below.
" Unable to connect to wallet RPC service: RPC call did not return 200: HTTP error: 0 - JSON Response: [] "

whether that means the pool can not be used today to mine?

That's why it's called pre-registering, they don't have the wallet yet (not yet been launched) , so it can't connect.

Please note: since this is a brand new blockchain, it will take some time before the difficulty normalizes. During this time, it is normal that you're getting a lot of rejects while mining. This is essentially because the difficulty is too low, and it'll take about 100-200 blocks to stablize (which is also why the reward for the first 200 blocks is set to 0.1 SAT²).

Are you trying to read your old config file? If so, you shouldn't be.

Yes you could open them at the same time, but for the sake of preventing confusing it's probably best not to. You could of course also just close the new wallet before opening the old one. But strictly speaking this is not needed.
