If I'm not mistaken, Drake has a contract with Stake worth $100 million a year, so losing $200k on this bet is nothing to him. Most likely, he made this bet for fun, because he surely knew what Paul’s opponent was capable of and that Paul had little chance of winning.

Yea I gotta agree, Jake Paul didn't look at all like someone who wanted to box or had the skill to compete with someone like Joshua who was superior in every way. Jake is making a mockery of the sport and the public are all victims.

Well let's be honest, a lot of the fighters Jake Paul fought were just scripted matches. They all had silly conditions and most of the guys could probably have beat his ass in the 1st round. Basically Paul paid them to lose and if they didn't agree he would have just found another boxer to take the fight that would follow the conditions. Mike Tyson should have killed the guy for example, but didn't just for the paycheck.

That really hurts. I laughed when I saw that picture. This is probably the worst beating Jake Paul has ever taken in his boxing career, and he will learn to pick the right opponent. I wonder why he shifted from picking old fighters to fighting younger ones. Joshua is still at his peak; he only loses to fighters like Dubois and Usyk because they are better when they fight.
Jake Paul will have a long time off from the ring because of the severe beating he received, but it's time to contemplate if he wants to continue doing this or fight at the professional level.

From the match previews and the reports I have received, it would have been regretted to spend money on that night's ticket.  Even referee Christopher Young had told the players to engage because it was boring. He also told Jake that fans didn't buy tickets to watch this kind of uninteresting fight. Joshua might still continue in this money-spinning fight because there are rumours that he would fight kickboxer Rico Verhoeven.

With the outrageous financial benefit boxers makes in every fight when they get into the ring it doesn't shock me that Jake had to go into a fight challenge with someone like Anthony Joshua. A win or loss in the ring still leaves the both fighters with a lot of funds that some players in some sports games don't make in a full tournament. It would've been boring if it ended that early with viewers having little to gossip after the fight. Those who won't be happy with how it stretched to round 6 would be those who placed bets on the duration of the fight not getting that far before a TKO. Whether it was AJ's intention to entertain spectators by allowing it linger or his deliberate attempt to punish Jake so he could inflict more pains on him for his loud mouth, we don't know. But all I can say is that the bout was worth watching.

AJ calling out Fury after his win is what I don't get. Is AJ actually ready to take on Fury or he was simply being carried away by his momentary glory?
