I think liquidity could be the main issue here, but is it a typo or something where you mentioned the support team is available 20 hours day? I mean if I'm not wrong it should be available 24 hours a day by default not 20 hours a day.

There will probably be 24/7 support in the future, but we don't need it right now. Most services similar in size to ours offer 24/7 support that never actually works anyway, so it's better to be honest and say that there may be a time window and you'll have to wait a bit for a response from us.

It usually means that they have a limited team that can solve problems and therefore may not be available 24 hours a day.
It is good as it means that they get a response in less than 4 hours, which is very good.
They can use AI to get instant responses, but I prefer dealing with a human employee to solve problems.

4 hours a day means one more person in the support team. That means additional costs. I am sure that there are periods during the day when there is less activity on the exchange, so it can be a period without direct monitoring by support.
I agree that it is better to have 24/7 support, but at least we got an honest answer here, even if it was about minimising expenses. And in the end, this also shows care for the service itself.

Over the past few weeks, we experienced a number of issues, caused by the significant amount of traffic coming to SageSwap.
After extensive backend improvements and optimization, the platform is now significantly more stable and capable of handling much higher traffic without the issues we experienced before.

Despite all these changes, the core of SageSwap remains exactly as you remember it.

Recent API Updates!

The following improvements and new features have been introduced to the API:

HighAMLInput flag in the /currencies endpoint: Indicates whether a given currency can be used in our NO AML Mode.
Retrieve guarantee letters via the API: A new endpoint, GET /v1/transactions/{uuid}/guarantee, allows you to retrieve a transaction's guarantee letter directly through the API.
New inputCurrencyPaymentUri transaction property: Provides the data encoded in our QR codes.

Transaction deletion: Transactions can now be deleted via the API using DELETE /v1/transactions/{uuid}.

New error codes:

transaction_not_deletable - Returned when attempting to delete a transaction with the CONTACT_SUPPORT status. This restriction helps prevent the accidental loss of funds.
method_not_allowed - Indicates that the requested HTTP method is not permitted for the specified operation.
Improved validation error handling: In certain edge cases, the API now returns detailed validation_error responses instead of generic server_error responses.

Upcoming V2 API Changes:

We are planning several enhancements for the V2 API, which will introduce backward-incompatible changes. To ensure a smooth transition, we will continue to support the V1 API for as long as necessary to give our partners sufficient time to migrate.

The planned improvements include:

Updated transaction statuses: Transaction statuses will be aligned with those displayed on our website.
Scope-limited tokens: API tokens will support more granular access control.
Webhooks: Webhook support will enable event-driven notifications about relevant changes.
Improved API documentation: We plan to update the documentation's template and structure to make it clearer and easier to navigate.
New GET /rates Endpoint

We also plan to introduce a new GET /rates endpoint, which will provide current exchange rates for all available trading pairs.

However, this endpoint will not fully replace the existing GET /rate endpoint, as the exchange rate offered for a specific transaction depends significantly on the transaction amount.

The rates returned by GET /rates are expected to be accurate for transaction amounts of up to $10,000. For larger amounts, our internal tiered pricing system applies, which may result in different rates.

Does it mean I'll have to check the AML score of my coin anytime I want to swap?

In a case I am unsure if my coin is of high AML score or not, what should I do ? Advisable to continue with the standards anyways?

The BSC network is still not added for USDT and USDC but hopefully it will be there in short time as confirmed by Sageswap.

Hey, on website you can find how both modes work. When you select a mode, there’s a [?] next to it that contains all the details. Here’s a quote: NO AML Mode
For coins that may not meet the normal AML score criteria, regardless of their transaction history or source. This mode adds an extra 2.2% fee. Monero is currently the only supported output for this mode.

You can use Standard Swap Mode. If we detect a high AML score, your transaction status will change to “Contact Support" Once you contact support, they will ask you whether you want us to process your transaction for an additional fee or if you'd prefer to receive a refund.

We never freeze coins.

It's hard to say, every coin has a different maximum AML score %, and sometimes it varies, but I'd say that above 60%, you should usually use NO AML Mode.
