SageSwap, thx for the quick crypto swap! Smiley By the way, the updated version of the platform looks much better and is more informative.

...
I haven't gotten to that part yet (because I had problems with the stablecoin pairs I usually use, unavailability), but according to the pairs I checked, the quote seems to be more competitive compared to competitors. I'm looking forward to using the service again the next time I use it, after so long.

But hey, I miss the classic look too, with purple colors. I think that adds a nice visual contrast to the site.

OP, this website exists since 2025 and I haven't said any welcome, so I'll start this post with the welcome and I won't go into details how the website works. It seems to be working fine because you have 4 positive trust rating from DT members.

Anyways, I want to focus about the fact that on your Resume, I see that you mention two times that you don't use Cloudflare. Privacy-oriented people distrust websites that use Cloudflare and it's right that you touched that point, you really don't use Cloudflare but at the same time, as I see, you use bunny.net, which is an alternative of Cloudflare. You are still using a third party. Is bunny significantly better than Cloudflare for privacy-oriented users? I ask this because you promote no-cloudflare thing. I know that when it comes to speed, it's better.

That’s a valid point. Bunny.net is still a third party service, and I don’t want to pretend otherwise.

The reason I deliberately avoid Cloudflare isn’t just because it’s a third party CDN. It’s more about my overall philosophy on privacy and how much data I’m willing to entrust to a large infrastructure provider.

Bunny.net also acts as a reverse proxy, so technically, it can see a visitor’s IP address while handling a connection. The difference is that Bunny places greater emphasis on minimizing and anonymizing this data, including anonymizing IP addresses in logs and allowing them to be completely removed from the logs.

So I wouldn’t say, “Bunny doesn’t see your IP address.” That wouldn’t be true. I’d rather say that Bunny is a more privacy oriented CDN solution than Cloudflare, even though it’s still a third party service.

If someone’s standard is “I don’t want any third party involved at all,” then Bunny obviously doesn’t meet that standard either. In that case, you should use our TOR site, which is also available 24/7.

So the note “no Cloudflare” in my resume specifically refers to not using Cloudflare. This is not meant to suggest that I don’t use third pparty infrastructure at all. Bunny is a compromise that provides me with the benefits of a CDN while keeping the impact on privacy relatively low.
Since this exchange is about piracy and you run this service, I assume you are someone who at least knows a thing or two in piracy, so I'll ask you this question and I'll be glad if I get an answer from you.
In order to register a website on CloudFlare or even on Bunny, you, the owner of the website, need to reveal a thing or two about you. You can't do it via Tor because they block every tor request and if I am not wrong, even Protonmail can be a problem. So, your only option is VPN, which these services allow to be used to register on their website.
My question is that, just the fact to register on Cloudflare or Bunny to add your website, isn't it a risky move for the website owner? In case there is an investigation in the future?

I won't comment on Cloudflare, but Bunny allows you to access the site and create an account using TOR.

Also, we no longer use Bunny, we've switched to DDos-guard.

An investigation? I don't know what to say to that, but I hope that whatever agencies are involved will finally stop harassing us: https://sageswap.io/transparency

I used the service after a long time to make a simple exchange, everything went quickly, in the case of Bitcoin, after 1-conf, the swap had already processed the swap to the destination coin and the swap rate was within acceptable range in my view.

Good to hear the positive feedback about SageSwap, I personally used the platform a few weeks ago multiple times and back then I also didn't face any kind of issue during swapping or during visiting the site. Everything went well for me and I think I have completed at least 2-3 swaps on the site back then. After the update I haven't done any swapping yet but to be honest when it comes to such exchanges it's among the list of the exchanges that I use without any fear due to their reliable service.

Hi SageSwap. It seems you have 3 imposters on Telegram.

Code:
https://t.me/SageSwap_Supports
https://t.me/SageSwop_Support3
https://t.me/SageSwapOfficial

I visited your website and followed the backlink, which took me to your Telegram channel, and it's quite different from these ones above.

Here's a screenshoted message in one of the groups.

No swap exchange would ask users to connect their wallet to a website, so I think these are channels operated by scammers and they need to be reported and taken down.

Yes, those aren't our channels, they're scammers.

Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it.

You can find our official channels on our website, SageSwap.io

But they will keep scamming innocent people and tarnishing your image if allowed to be functional. So I guess the best we can do is to report them. I've done that already, and I hope forum members will join too in reporting these scammers so these channels can be taken down quickly.

The scammers are everywhere these days and one should always find the support channels by visiting the official domain name of a service in this case as you mentioned SageSwap.io where they can find official support channels. The Telegram is used by scammers a lot so everyone should think multiple times before sharing any information with anyone. Once again, anyone who is smart enough or tech savvy will always try to visit the official channels via the genuine website of a platform rather than trusting the ones that appear by doing Telegram search.

Good job man, let's stay alert!

I'm also worried about this wave of coordinated AI attacks shaking crypto infrastructure (seeing what happened with boltz.exchange).

Hey!

We’re introducing a BETA feature.

If our system detects a high AML score on a transaction in Standard Mode, it may automatically redirect it to NO AML Mode.

By creating a transaction, you automatically agree to pay an additional fee if your coins have a high AML score.

The coin must be supported by NO AML Mode, and the transaction output must be Monero (XMR). In rare cases, we may be able to exchange a different output currency.

If your coin isn't supported in NO AML Mode or your transaction doesn't have an XMR output, you'll receive a refund.

——————

Why this change?

We've noticed that there are too many situations like this, and having to contact support every time is exhausting. Our preliminary statistics, compiled before implementing this feature, show that approximately 97% of transactions where users are asked whether they want a refund or to pay an additional fee for NO AML Mode result in users choosing NO AML Mode.

Please keep in mind that this is a new BETA feature. You may encounter delays or unexpected errors when a transaction is redirected to NO AML Mode.

If anything happens, please contact support.

Everything else remains the same.

Privacy is not a crime.

I saw earlier that some exchangers say they have this option, but I didn't notice it in the actual functionality. This will be an interesting challenge to test. (I need to get some tainted coins  Cheesy)

What methodology will you use to calculate the AML score? Some external well-known tool or something custom-made by you?

If a UTXO with high AML is detected, in order for it to be processed automatically in NO AML MODE, the user will have to provide the XMR address before initiating the transaction, right?

Otherwise, the user will need to be prompted to provide the XMR address.

Does the optional refund wallet address field available when creating the swap accept an XMR address, even if the chosen pair is, for instance: BTC x USDT?

How will this automation work?
