I would like to ask a personal question about when an entrepreneur should look for employees. What is the right way to retain them and keep them interested in your company? I appreciate creative and abstract ideas.
First and foremost you need to treat them nicely, pay them on time , most employers alway delay payment, such conduct may not be conducive for most employees and to retained them may be difficult, appreciate their works , if they add value to the company make sure you let them know and appreciate them , make the working environment peaceful for them with such , it will  be easy to retain them ,your workers are also human , respect them too , some employers are too rude , whereby they neglect their worker even  when they have a lot to offer to the company, lower your eagle , creat a calm and peaceful atmosphere for your worker , this things also contribute to what can interest them to still stay and work with the company .
There are many ways to retain your employees and the attributes you listed are absolutely on point, delayed payment is one major factor that triggers employees to quit their work and respect should be reciprocal in the working environment, you being a boss doesn’t guarantee you to voice abusive words on your employees.Take your employees to seminar to enhance their skills/knowledge in other to keep them effective and competent.Appreciate them whenever they’re working for the betterment of the company,by doing that they will be pleased and develop the mindset of not quitting their job.

First of all, compensation is vital. But beyond pay, retention is simply rooted in mutual growth and values. For me,when employees feel valued, heard and grow they're less likely to leave. At the same time, when a company grows and progresses, it's as a result of the dedication and contribution of the employees. So in all, there must be alignment, value driven and growth oriented partnership between the employees and firm to succeed.
That is absolutely true. We know as employees if we're being valued and we're giving the company a favor. And we know how to take care of the job that's entrusted to us why we are hired. But, if we're no longer aligned with the values first by the company, next by the bosses and lastly by the coworkers. We're the ones to voluntarily resign and as well as if we're not being valued well. Majority of the companies mistake is they're only giving a raise when an employee is about to leave them and they didn't evaluated their performance.

Most of the time when an employee decide to move forward and file their resignation if the said person got some value the management will try to offer decent amount of increase to keep the person, it's not good as it should be evaluated from time to time to make sure that they are being treated fairly, and I agree to that statement it's a give and take between the management and the employee to have decent relationship and keep the business move forward as stable as it is for the betterment of both sides.

Your points are spotted on especially in the aspect of respect, most employers abuse their power as an employer and treat their employees less, a company can not hold or function properly without having an existing cordially relationship between an employer and the employees, if employees are not being treated well they will keep leaving the company from time to time leaving the company with bad reputation, running a company has alot to do with team work which can not be achieved without respect being reciprocated, we are humans every one deserves to be respected so they can bring the best in them.

Good and proper business is an art, and it comes from both sides - the employer and the employee. Both should understand what they are winning in this situation. But more often I see clueless management on the part of the employer, and the fact that the HR department is trying very hard to find cool employees, but the company itself does not know how to properly motivate them to work that would be interesting and profitable.
Everything should be according to the victory-victory scheme. But when such an employee later wants to quit because of disappointment, they don't try to keep him with a raise or an increase to an individual salary. This is not right.

Even though we are company or business owners, it doesn't mean we can treat them as we please. In other words, we should provide for their welfare according to what we can afford. We also have to be professional, for example when we have problems outside of work, don't make employees the target to vent our problems. Also, we must differentiate between working hours and when we are outside working hours.
Actually when someone works, he or she seeks not only money but also a sense of trust. Getting paid on time being treated with respect these two things are used to create that trust, I think being an owner is not only about getting work done but also about building the environment where people can work comfortably. We ourselves don't like to tolerate bad behavior or anger from others so it's not right to expect the same of our employees. Keeping these small things in place actually makes the workplace much more normal and better.

Respect is a reciprocal, as the employee is respecting the employer, than the employer should also be respecting the employee and they will live in peace and not in pieces. What some people failed to understand is what humanity truly means, and the importance of humanity. They is nothing wrong in respecting your follow humans despite their financial status (either rich or poor). There is no any offence in being kind and generous to them. Your employees are your strength, backbone and the pillars that keep your business tall, stronger and keeping moving, growing, developing in order to become standard. You need your employees too in as much as they need you. They need the job to sustain their lives and that of their loved ones, and you also need them for the growth and development of your business.

A lot of people are less privilege not because they love the life that they live, but that is what was destined for them. So bosses should always remember that no condition is permanent and the table can turn, so be mindful of how you treat others, because you don't know what the future may brings.

Employees are the ones who manage your company, they sacrifice almost every part of there time to make sure that your company is growing. For me to retain them; I will need to treat them well, by increasing there salaries, buy them there favourite food during lunch time once, once, allowing them bring there own ideas concerning the company and I will always ask them how good is there personal life.

Also, I will make sure every year each one of them receives a quality gifts that will motivate them to remain in the company and I will always take them out on a trip, every middle of the year to experience adventure. Another thing is that I will create a medical means where they will always go to check there body, and any of there family members will also have the medical privilege.

There is high chance your employees will treat you bad even if you kill a lion for them, even if you give the world to some employers they will do what they want. I have seen places where employee stole from their employees even after given them everything. As an employee, just do what you know it's proper but doing everything for employee wouldn't make them want to be loyal to you, the ones that will want to stay will stay and the ones that will leave will leave.

There are employee that you wouldn't give anything, as long as you pay their salaries and sometimes give them quick loan and remove money from their salary, you own everything about them, you own their loyalty, you own their time and anything they want to add to your company. There are some employees that will stay with you as long as they get bonus and promotions, each of them has their persona and you can't get the same satisfaction from them.

People arrive with the pre-configuration. The person that will leave no matter what you offer ,they left before they started . Something in the way they perceive work, money, self-worth, freedom. This was already running in the background. You were not going to override it.

If the loyal ones would have been loyal anyway and the ones who leave were always going to leave then what exactly is the employer doing besides Paying for them and hoping for the best? Sounds nihilistic. You still have a role. The role is simply not as most people imagine it to be. It's not so much inspiring loyalty, as creating the kind of environment in which people who are already hardwired for commitment actually want to activate that part of themselves.

Once you begin to calculate your generosity against someone's commitment you're already poisons everything. You begin to interpret normal human behavior as insubordination. Someone takes a day off, all of a sudden it is ingratitude. Someone negotiates a raise, suddenly they're not really with you. And then you gradually stop giving at all because why bother and then the whole environment deteriorates. And the good ones, the ones who actually had that innate loyalty, they're starting to re-think too because the place isn't like what we signed up for.

Retaining employees isn't really difficult all it takes is to make sure that you are treating them the right way, ensure you pay salaries promptly, make sure they work according to how they are being paid, some employers overwork their employees just because they think that they pay them. Another important thing is your character, as a boss you must learn to interact with your workers and avoid being rude, this is something that most employers deal with, if you don't treat your employees with respect you will lose valuable workers
There are indeed companies that overwork their employees even outside their main job, it can be one of the reasons why employees do not stay working because it will put excessive pressure on employees, what must be done to make employees stay is to provide them with comfort in any case, especially in payment according to the right time as you said and with the right amount too. There are also companies that are very good so they do not only consider their workers as employees but more like family, so their superiors balance their work well, companies like this are dream companies.

Employees want more bonuses because they want to get more facilities of life. Local companies are giving less facilities to their employees and that is reason employees are leaving their job to big company where they are getting more benefits because that is nature of human. People are getting their money of work as if they will work more they will get more money and there should not be cut off money of Sunday and people should get overtime because many people want to di overtime who are from poor family because they want to live modern life which is possible if they will work hard and enjoy in a weekend. Every family want stable job person and you should give them stability of job and should not force to do more work for less money.

If the employer and the employees shared a good relationship in their company they will actually go a long way. The growth and development of the company depends on their understanding. Just capital cannot make up a business neither can the business owner only. What makes up a business depend on the collision and collaboration with each other, sharing the same goals which is the development of the company, and also sharing the same ideas which will help in the development of the business. It is really important for every employers to respect their employees because that will instilled peace and unity in them, and they will have the capacity to focus on their progress.

Actually it is not always the case that a company will do well if it has a good relationship. Sometimes it is more important to deliver the work properly, have a good system and have clear rules. Even if the relationship is good, if the work is not done properly then growth can stop. But yes even if there is a bad relationship, there is a problem, In my opinion the real balance is not too friendly, but not too distant. If there is a professional understanding, the work progresses and there is less unnecessary drama.

You are extremely right, but the problem is that, you wouldn't expect the workers to deliver a fantastic work if they don't have good communication skills with their employers, most especially if the employer is strict, harsh and always take things hard on them. Sometimes they might even have a good and basic idea that's going to open a great opportunity for the business but they might be afraid to share it. Life doesn't grow in the world of superiority, but rather in the world of simplicity. Just because you are greater than them in terms of money, doesn't mean that you are also better than them in terms of skills, experience, ideas or knowledge. Wise mam says "just a single hand cannot rise a heavy loads, it definitely requires many hands to do so", so I think good relationship and understanding is one of the major things that can make a business to grow and develope.

Your point explain the actual foundation of a successful business and its true that huge capital and the skills of owner is not only the source of growth for a company but along with its requires a strong cooperation among the owner and its employees. Because when communication between both ends is strong then its build a productive environment. And employees feel respected and its the best reward after sallery that they deserve and ultimately they improve their performance for company with loyalty. And along with productive environment through communication between employee and employer leads towards productive decisions and its leads towards innovation. And also when employees take respect then ultimately he gives back respect to his owner and they exchange idease without any hesitation which create solutions for long term success. So the learning point is that the actual success of a business is dependent on teamwork and trust and strong bond between employees and employer.

Is not hard in retaining our employees, we retained them by the way we treat them with respect and give them opportunities that can change their life, i think if we take care of our employees they're the one to take of who come to the company for business or let me say the clients.

These days it is. That's because many of the employees are looking for better salaries. Loyalty is no longer a thing for them, what they need to fulfill are their important bills that they need to pay. We treat them with respect, that's not enough although some employees prefer that. Still if they don't have enough salary, they'll still find another one that can sustain their bills. So even with utmost care and respect to the employees, if they are not receiving enough or even if they do but as long as there's another better offer to them, they'll grab it without having any second thought.

In the company where I worked for the last time many years ago, the management thought it was a good idea to survey the employees about their satisfaction with the company. They conducted a pseudo-anonymous survey, asking the employees if they were satisfied with their salaries, their supervisors, their meals, and their work schedules. However, everyone was afraid to answer the questions honestly because the management knew each employee's IP address. There was no anonymity. As a result, everyone was afraid of being fired if they started to write the truth.

If your company truly want to conduct anonymous survey, they should use offline method, such as paper form collected through a sealed suggestion box. Using an online form for anonymous feedback is just a trick, and luckily people have already realized that.

However, I believe that even if a company has good policies and treat its employees well. They will also never be satisfied, alway complaining and wanting more. Because human nature is inherently greedy, and that greed has no bottom. The boss alway want and finds way to make employees work more. Meanwhile, employees will alway demand higher salaries, bigger bonuses, and more benefits. It will never be enough for them.
