I thought their campaign funds was sent directly to btc address. It should be a standard for all new services that plan to run a promotion here to have escrow funds or sent the payment directly to the wallet of participants.
No, payments were sent to the casino itself, the team paid the participance but since placing withdrawal they've not received in wallet. It doesn't need to be a standard, escrow funds is better too, and some other casinos doing promotion pays directly to casino account like Spinly when they came in. What is best is a few weeks escrow, if a casino has an intent of not paying, they can also take 1 week free promotion without paying.

The manager already learned from this, whatever deal on the line, he will be more conscious, this kind of mistake isn't one to make double times, it won't happen again.

There were already some suspicions raised in this thread, some members thought that the casino's offer was a trap. As for the promotions here in the forum, it does seem like the casino took advantage of a less experienced manager. They first tried to build some sort of trust by running a review campaign, and then proceed to run a signature campaign in which the payments were sent to the casino account of the participants. Right now, I would say it doesn't look good that their website is still down.
That is the thing, every body was not sure it was a trap but most comments in that thread as that of the op were achored on speculation, not ontil now that their real plan has taken flight. A less experienced indeed but this can happen to any campaign manager where it is a strategic plan as this type.

We have legit casinos with good reputation that have signature campaign payments sent to casino accounts of participants, it was just Betmaco.com that had a fraudulent plan using that process as part of executing their scam scheme.  For the site to still be down till this time it kills any hope there was. The maintenance stuff is just bullshit

I'll advise for the future, players that want to use a new casino they do avoid to make huge deposits ontil they have built a strong reputation sufficient to warrant trusting them with huge deposits.

I'm not familiar with cases like this. It's ultimately the casino’s fault, but what will happen to the campaign participants? Does the manager take accountability and pay from his own pocket, or do they just end up not getting paid at all?
It depends on the manager if he is buoyant enough to cover the cost. But as we all know the manager is still new to management and if I'm not mistaken this should be his maiden job and this happened. I'm sure the manager wasn't even paid his management fee as well, It's not really fare on all participants and the manager. The only thing they can do is to let go of the money and count it as loss. If the manager could have paid form his own purse, he would have already done it by now. As he's a very transparent and honest person judging from his activities in my local board.

Not all managers paid money from their own pockets if companies don't make payment or refill the wallet as promised. Some campaign managers even let the payment distribution is responsibility of casino companies but it can be their favorite management choice or just the deal with a casino company.

I also noticed this, and it's very unprofessional. They are certainly aware of what's happening, and by not taking a stand, they are demonstrating a lack of commitment to the participants. If there's a problem with the site and they're doing maintenance, why not inform us? Apparently, it wasn't only the campaign participants who were affected; we should also consider the active accounts with balances that lost access to the site.

It's so sad up til now, no official statement from the casino representative regarding this alleged issue of scam and unpaid money meant for participants of it's signature campaign. Because if truly the casino knew it wasn't having enough budget to run signature campaign and a review campaign, why didn't they just focused on just one, rather than adding the two together and yet participants are now complaining about the website been down and they not been able to access funds on the casino. And at the moment, I truly wish Betmoco casino comes out to iron this issue amicably,

Don't be naive. They have plenty of ways to communicate to the community other than the website. They could have been chatting with the manager, they could be giving updates here, and they still have access to their socials if the website is down.

I dont remember who was their campaign manager, but he needs to clarify and explain whole situation to community.
Somehow I didnt follow all the drama few days ago because I was busy, but this casino never looked like a serious business to me.
I hope their customers didnt lose a lot of money, but they should learn a lesson from this.

Yeah, the evidence is clear now, they’re not responding anymore, the website is gone, and the withdrawals are still being held as hostage. At this point, it really looks like the casino admin is just enjoying the money they scammed from gamblers.

It’s sad to see that many people still trusted a new casino that didn’t even have a license.

Now it’s hard to even identify who the real people behind this are.

Not sure there's much to explain.. They backed out immediately I stopped all form of promotion they were running on the forum. They failed to pay out their players as well as the signature campaign participants payments which was allegedly sent to their casino account..since yesterday the site has been offline, last they said was it was undergoing maintenance. I tried contacting them on tg, but all I got is just read messages with no replies..

I began having suspicions of the casino when everytime I asked the team why taking so long to release the players held funds,all they gave me was dead lines they didn't meet till yesterday which was more obvious to the forum as they stated it by themselves on their last announcement..

I guess they expected to get more players to deposit into the casino for reason which might include raising of funds or to top up their scam scheme which is obvious now... At this point anything they have to say won't matter as their reputation is already damaged.. I don't even think we will be seeing them anytime soon..

P.s.. since they no longer reply on tg, I noticed their support team is still somehow online on the site, don't know how.. I asked when they plan on returning and their response was.

Good thing they didn’t operate for many months before stopping, because if they did, they would’ve become more popular and taken even more money from people.

Their replies are also very typical, just like what you see from Ponzi scammers, no clear timeline, just empty promises. At this point, I don’t think we should expect them to come back anymore. Now it’s up to the gamblers who got scammed to take action and report this casino, so they can at least be held accountable under the law.

Maybe we should start being more careful now and flag casinos that have no real license and no proper KYC, especially if they’re operating here. After what happened, it’s clear they can easily get away with scams, because it’s hard to even know who’s behind them, so there’s no real accountability.

It honestly feels like we’re going back to the old days when scams were everywhere. We already know to stay away from Ponzi schemes because they’re obvious, and I think unlicensed casinos are starting to look the same, just another obvious risk that people should avoid.

This guys planned this scam very well and they have already succeeded, we all have learnt our lesson next time if we see a new casino here no one should deposit money with them until after a 2 to 3 months running of a successful signature campaign, this time around new casinos will have to work very hard for their reputation and trust. And again some people are just something else why will you deposit a huge amount of money on a new casino all because of the bonus you were promised, a lot of those who deposited huge amount of money did that because of the bonus the casino promised, let’s learn to be wise.

That is the thing, every body was not sure it was a trap but most comments in that thread as that of the op were achored on speculation, not ontil now that their real plan has taken flight. A less experienced indeed but this can happen to any campaign manager where it is a strategic plan as this type.

We have legit casinos with good reputation that have signature campaign payments sent to casino accounts of participants, it was just Betmaco.com that had a fraudulent plan using that process as part of executing their scam scheme.
Of course, no one could have known their true intentions, especially since it's a new casino. All the more reason why there should have been escrowed funds.

For the site to still be down till this time it kills any hope there was. The maintenance stuff is just bullshit
There's no point in believing their excuses, OP has already received multiple tags from DT. If the maintenance was true then there should have been a resolution by now. Lesson learned for everyone I guess.

Luckily I didn't play long at betmoco after depositing $100 because of the cashback promotion, I didn't experience any losses at betmoco because I had withdrawn all my money at betmoco, at first I didn't suspect them because they processed my withdrawal and now they've gone, they must have taken the money deposited by the user

Lucky you.

I guess it was fun while it lasted. They looked like they could have built something on the forum, but I guess greed or I'll say impatience.

They had a fast growing Ann, I was also surprised to see they pulled off this scam. Not nice.

The campaign manager did good at stopping all promoting. Like I can imagine more harm to be done to people who would have made more deposits on the site.

Still have my campaign payment locked in there somewhere..

What is of utmost importance—and fully our responsibility—is the protection of user funds and the uninterrupted ability to process withdrawals. At this time, withdrawals are temporarily unavailable, and we acknowledge this failure with full accountability.

To mitigate further risk and protect all parties involved, our platform has been placed into maintenance mode until all vulnerabilities are fully identified, resolved, and independently verified.
