I want to be honest here. I did actually check the license for this casino(Curaçao) when they announced that they got it since I was thinking of playing here. Used chatgpt, gemini, claude and grok to check whether it was a legitimate license or not.

Was busy back then which is why I ran it through AI. All except gemini confirmed that it is valid. Gemini mentioned that there is something shady about it. Majority said it was fine and AI make mistakes sometimes which is why I ignored Gemini when reverse was the truth. Smh!

I personally have never checked a license validity before playing at a casino, but I also rarely play at non trusted casinos when they 1st launch. I want them to have some sort of reputation before I put my money at risk as we have seen too many fly by night scam operations pop up to take the risk.

I think so too since they will never allow the issue to escalate longer if they are serious on building their reputation in the forum.

We will understand if there’s truly a lot of abuse happened but they should isolate those case and allowed withdrawal from players that doesn’t have malicious activity such as signature campaign participants that has funds paid on their casino account.

They are on lurking mode now that proves this speculation.

They could try, I don't see any harm in trying. Might as well exhaust every possible option.

But I have never seen anyone who got help from off shore licenses' regulatory body. You can take a look at casino guru for instance, because they frequently try to redirect players to the license provider if there's nothing casino guru can do. Usually, this is a dead end too. Maybe if they can try to involve authorities and not just a simple email from the victims.

I think that could be their problem though, maybe they don't have enough bankroll. But that is not our problem, in worst case, that could really be their intention, no money at all as bankroll and then to scam their customers.

They might hide under their license and all of that stuff, but they could have gotten their license pay and that's why they could have said, now is the time to time to exit scam. They buy as some time to maybe create another casino and pull the same thing.

Sometimes asking AI doesn't give accurate results, but for me, I have suspected that Betmoco did not have a license from the beginning even though the OP said it was still a process from Anjouan.

Curaçao and Anjouan are different license companies.

I believe Gemini accurately caught that among the AI that I mentioned in my previous post which just goes to show that it's sometimes best to rely on multiple AI tech rather than relying on just one all the time. Betmoco kept throwing up such red flags since the beginning.

Them offering lossback promotions with x1 to x3 wagering requirements was insane which is why I warned people about it. Some people couldn't resist it clearly. There is no free lunch in the gambling world.

This was really the main attraction of the casino, aside from being no KYC. I think there was even a thread about this in the gambling section before. Some people were already doubtful and saying it might just be temporary. But honestly, even if it’s temporary, a lossback bonus with no tough rollover requirement is already a red flag. That’s basically shouting scam.

The problem is, sometimes we get blinded by the offer. We focus too much on the bonus and ignore the warnings.

That’s why when we later see posts about people getting scammed, it just shows they didn’t take the warnings seriously in the first place.

It means that the casino is a scam/likely a scam, and when you check the accusation, you will notice that there are so many people who got scammed. They claim that their funds got stolen, but I believe that's a lie, and they decided to put their website offline altogether, which is not a good sign.

But honestly, you should be grateful you have only lost a handful of dollars and move on from all this mess and take it as a lesson not to blindly trust on new casinos, specially if they claim to be free from KYC and at the same time claim to be fully licensed/regulated.

Or maybe they are already busy behind trying to build a crypto base gambling platform, looks and feel new, but the same people behind this shady and scam sites and they are going to repeat their process again.

So the community right now should be at a alert, maybe in the next couple of weeks there will be casino here. Not saying that the next one will be scamming us, but if ever they have a signature campaign, manager should be attentive enough to check the background.

A unfortunate event happened in this community that a owner of a game likely scammed reviewers based on petty chips in roulette based games. There is enough evidence that this new casino got bankrupt and the owner of this dangerously commanded site is not declaring bankruptcy in any chapter inside his or her jurisdiction. Obtaining a valid license means that the license issuers knows everything about the casino and the team behind, and that every detail is clear including procedures to take in case of proved scam. Otherwise, the license issuer is also considered as contributor in scam.

Just today I discovered the updates with betmoco. The case reminds me about a similar case happened since few months called betmanor. I guess many of you guys remember this casino and how he had started promotion with a huge welcome bonus with a very small wager requirement, which was the main reason why few people join the casino and made deposits. Later the representative tried to give promises that he will fix all disputes as a try to clean hos trust page but never solved a single case.
