Betpanda confiscated ~13,000 USDT after settled sports bets – UK user, no bonus

I’m posting to share an issue I’m currently dealing with involving Betpanda’s sportsbook, both to warn others and to see if anyone here has had a similar experience or advice on how best to proceed. I’m a UK-based user and my account was fully verified (KYC completed). I only used Betpanda for sports betting, never casino games. I didn’t use any bonuses or promotions at any point, and I only ever held one account.

Over time, I deposited a total of roughly 8,000 USDT. Through normal sports betting, with a mix of wins and losses, my balance eventually grew to around 15,000 USDT. All bets were accepted by the sportsbook, settled in the normal way, and paid out as wins or losses at the time — nothing was ever voided or flagged when the bets were placed or settled.

Recently, Betpanda asked for documentation, which I provided. After confirming my identity, they informed me that they had completed an investigation into my sportsbook activity and concluded that I had breached their Terms and Conditions. What surprised me was what came next. Instead of voiding specific bets or removing particular winnings, Betpanda reduced my balance to around 1,800 USDT, stating that I could only withdraw my most recent deposit. The rest of the balance — including both profits and part of my deposited funds — was effectively confiscated. I was given 72 hours to withdraw the remaining amount before the account would be closed permanently.

They have not explained which specific Terms and Conditions were breached, which bets (if any) were considered invalid, or how they calculated the amount they decided to keep.

All I’ve been told is that the “decision is final”.

To avoid losing the remaining funds, I’ve withdrawn the balance that was still available and am now formally disputing the confiscation. I’m also preparing to escalate this through the appropriate consumer protection and regulatory channels.

I’m posting here to document what happened publicly, to ask whether anyone else has dealt with Betpanda in similar circumstances, and to see whether there’s any precedent for recovering funds when bets were already settled and no bonuses or multiple accounts were involved. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here we go again, another betby case. Seems like it doesn't end. Did they provide you with any info what terms exactly you have breached? Just "refunding" the smallest deposit of course is like the worst behavior possible, if you actually didn't do anything wrong.

Maybe you should post which game your are playing (from the sports bet history), not just the transactions.

You really didn't make any deposit or withdrawal for 5 months, kept all this money for such a long time? I mean, maybe they find that a bit weird, I wouldn't do that either, but of course it's your own decision.

I've only been betting on boxing, no games or other sports.

Consider yourself lucky that they even offered you the deposit back. I think you're the first one without mediation.

If you check those cases, the narrative is almost always the same. Betby was the one who made the call. Which is a lie.

I would really appreciate if anybody can help me further or point me in the right direction on how to escalate this. Basically, they have taken $13,000 USDT away from me, which is tremendously affecting my mental health at the moment and causing distress as it is a life-changing amount of money for me. I would be happy to pay for lawyers/solicitors to take this further if anybody has had experience with that?

I understand how you feel. I have been through the same. The only person in this forum (as far as i know) that can help you reach them is holydarkness. If he's interested in this case or not i don't know.

I don't know if you played slots or sportsbook only, but if you played slots, you can try open a case at casinoguru. If you played sportsbook only, they will not accept your complaint. As far as i know don't bother with other mediation sites such as LCB, as they are pretty useless.

Last thing i can tell you is to share your experience in Trustepilot. It won't solve you anything, but at least, you can pinch their reputation.

In my case it was "only" 18.2mbtc, which to me is a relevant ammount, i cannot imagine 8k. Stay strong.

You should already know this, but i would just like to add in case you don't. Now that you've posted your email address in public here, rather than through PM, you should watch out for shady/phishing emails going forward. There are quite a lot of scammers in here and some of them may even contact you, impersonating a representative from Betpanda. So just be careful and good luck with your case, i hope you get your money back.

Errrmmm... usually there is a gap of time between when people bring things to my attention and I get all the necessary information from them [in this case: your username] and reach to my contact before they exhaust their own way by going legal.

So, please, by all means, if you choose to go to court with this, inform me. So I don't need to bring your username to my contact as the matter would ends up taken from our hand by their own legal dept. anyway.

I think you got that wrong. He said they didn't void anything, they simply reduced his total balance from 15000$ to 1800$. The picture you are referring to I guess is simply him showing that nothing was voided.

Normally the "balance adjustment" should be found somewhere within the transaction history I guess, maybe OP can check if he finds something about that.

Yep, Ahoy is perfectly right. Never had voided bets etc. My full balance was $15,000USDT and that got reduced to $1,800USDT as per screenshots with no further explanations. I've reached to betpanda since both on livechat and email and no further responses. I think they even banned me from Livechat as now I can't send messages to live chat. I can't see anything in the transaction history as the account is now fully blocked, but last screenshots I took was everything there was there... No transaction of the reduced balance.

Again, the $1800USDT balance is not even my entire deposits amount, as that exceeded $8000USDT. It's just my last deposit...

Overall this has been a really distressing situation and coping pretty hard at this stage. I would really appreciate if you can help in any way.

Edit - I have just noticed now they voided a couple of bets looking at the above screenshot. I didn't even realise before nor did they point this out. Unsure why these were voided or flagged. However, it still doesn't change the balance situation with them stealing my money.

As you're now just realized that they voided some of your bets, is it possible that the reduction in your total funds is actually simultaneous-but-gradual instead of instantly? That is, they void bets that were deemed voidable and flagged by the provider, bringing your total balance to the current one, instead of deducting all of them in single line of debit.

Nope...even if you add up all the bets from the transactions, that exceeds $2000USDT. My full balance was $15,000USDT when I tried to withdraw, and it has been similar for the last few months. They made it pretty clear in their email that they have reduced that just to the last deposit.

Okay, I heard back from my contact earlier today that they're in personal leave, on vacation, and can't help to see the matter as it'll require them to login to their company device [that they clearly and justifiedly didn't bring along to their vacation]. I'll update you once I know more.
