Mined about 21 hours on ypool with v4.0 on my Gigabyte OC R9 280X and Sapphire HD7950. Even though I found no blocks, quite happy with the results here. Thanks again, Claymore!

3. There are not modified drivers that support 6 cards or more at this moment.

I check all new versions, as soon as AMD releases good version or I find any real improvement in some existing version I will migrate to it.
Could you direct me how to install 6 vga?
I did it for 2 rig. I use win8.1 and cat13.12. Third rig I can't make it work with 6 vga.

I have 32 connections and recently, I found 3 blocks that were orphaned due to ypool.. I am going to give up solo mining soon ... damn demoralizing.
I use pool, stable income)

Any plan to add -nofee option(but low power) in SOLO version?Weather's getting hot Cry

v4.0 is available:

- Improved speed by about 15-25% (depends on card) on 7xxx, 270(x), 280X cards.
- Improved speed by about 10% on 290(X) cards. For 290X CPD is about 2.6-2.7 now.

Decreasing GPU clocks and/or undervolting is more efficient, but yes, I will add this option in next version.

So solo mining requires a lot of wallet connections. Can we do something about it?

What about "addnode"? Can we add one another? I for one have a static IP, have a linux server 24x7 and can run a primecoind on it. We have to compete with ypool on propagating solved blocks. If they have even 1 second gain as opposed to solo miners like us that translates to about 1.5% more blocks awarded to them. Right?

Я пpoвepил блoки c 510824-25.04.2014 21:10 дo 511824-26.04.2014 11:58.  1000 блoкoв.
73,8% (738 блoкa) вcex блoкoв дocтaлиcь Ypool, 26,2% (262 блoкa) дocтaлиcь вceм ocтaльным. (+/- 1,5% Orphaned)
Я дyмaю в coлo yжe нeт cмыcлa пытaтьcя.

I checked blocks 510824-25.04.2014 21:10 to 511824-26.04.2014.11:58. 1000 blocks.
73.8% (738 blocks) of all blocks got Ypool, 26,2% (262 blocks) got everything else. (+/- 1,5% Orphaned)
I think the solo is no point in trying.

Claymore really good job. I didn't have time to follow this miner for a week, but I see you were able to disable mining of other coins using primecoin algo.
with versions 3 and above, pool and solo. Are you happy with time spent for that, so people can't mine what they prefer? LOL.

Well, last i checked i was still able to choose what i wanted to mine...
Ofc a developer of software will always try to make it "protected" for his interest, but again, you are free to choose whatever miner you want!
Or you can make one yourself?
Credits to claymore for making a software that represents more than 60% of current network!
If you find that a problem, make your own Roll Eyes
Fee or no fee, its a very good piece of work.
happy mining

Morning Claymore, morning guys.

Question:  what is the difference between these 2 commands?

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

and

set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100   (set without x after)

plus, which command of these 2 shall I use with claymore's XPM miner?

Thank you in advance.

setx makes it permanent in your registry and set only is local and one time event.
If you are sure about your settings and dont need to configure, use setx if not use set in batfile.

Which would only mean it is optimized to full potential, right?

Not necessary, right? Speed increase vs power consumption increase might not be worth it?
