Google is useful sometimes: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Running_Bitcoin... # By default, only RPC connections from localhost are allowed. Specify # as many rpcallowip= settings as you like to allow connections from # other hosts (and you may use * as a wildcard character). # NOTE: opening up the RPC port to hosts outside your local # trusted network is NOT RECOMMENDED, because the rpcpassword # is transmitted over the network unencrypted. #rpcallowip=10.1.1.34 #rpcallowip=192.168.1.* ... Probably rpcallowip=* will work for you.

Hi, anyone else using an ATI HD 7770? I'm getting about 26800 ch/h with the v6 beta, compared to about 16000 on the v5 beta. For scrypt mining the power used is too high (at the current exchanges rates) to make it profitable. Is it worth mining XPM with this card? I haven't been running it long enough to see what the power bill comes up to.

Thanks for the update. Started mining with V6.0. I'll send a screen shot after a couple of hours ... Running V6.0 for 24h on a 280x (1.85 CPM) and a 270x (1.3 CPD) https://www.dropbox.com/s/qifh5ya9pwighk5/xpm-gpu-claymore60-24h.jpg

is there a chance that an instance with -ss 2 will submit more shares on a low-cpu machine? even though the TRT is slower by a few digits?

Which settings one should adjust to decrease effectiveness of mining but to be able to comfortable desctop work at the GPU connected to monitor while mining? I mean - sacrifice a bit mining and decrease lags while working at the PC (similar to intensity in cgminer)
