v8 -> v9 power consumption jump Sad ~35%

How did you measure it?
What cards do you use?
I see much less jump, may be 5-10%.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Yesterday on account Ypool I had 65 unconfirmed XPM, today was 16. Payments was not all ... Ypool stole.

Check ypool chat history, it was a bug in stats, a few days ago "unconfirmed xpm" values started showing big values, now it is fixed. So you did not lose these unconfirmed coins since you did not have them. I saw this bug too, my unconfirmed coins were in 2-3 times more than usual and it is fixed now.
omg...

With the massive changes to power consumption from v8 to v9, it looks like v8 may be the most profitable to mine  Huh.

Claymore, could you comment on the likelihood/difficulty of an ASIC miner for XPM?

You can use Primecoin High Performance as well.

Guys, can someone with a wattmeter measure the exact power consumption of v8 and v9 compared to scrypt mining?
Cause we may be close to the edge, when even xpm gpu mining becomes unprofitable in terms of electricity bills...

v9 powertunes +20%, thats more or less like scrypt for me. i lowered it to -10% and had to lower the clocks a bit, the results are a bit slower but its a must for power savings.

Version for Diff 11 will be available within 1 day.

have one question regarding solo mining..

sometime pc crashed or Power off during mining so what we lose?
if pc crashed during mining Diff - 10.7400 and when restart mining its start from Diff- 9.80 and after 2hr of mining diff goes to 10.74
so its mean we lose 2hr mining in one time crashed?

or nothing lose?

You can restart miner at any time, you don't lose anything. You lose only within time you are not mining.

Does anybody know how much faster this miner is with 13.12 drivers compared to 14.4? I'm not sure it's worth downgrading...
I get 6.2 CPD on my R9 280x at stock speeds (6.4 CPD at 1250Mhz core/1650Mhz mem), miner v9.1 with Catalyst 14.4...

Probably either you use not 13.12 catalyst, or you have slow CPU and many cards, use "-ss 2" or even "-ss 3".

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.
