At first, when I started gambling, I was gambling for profits because I wanted to use gambling as a shortcut to riches but in the long run, it was the opposite and I discovered that gambling isn't a job that can give me what I want.

Currently, I'm gambling for fun because I'm already used to gambling and that's the only way I can gamble without losing much and getting addicted. I prefer putting a little amount of money on my favorite clubs when they're having a match in order to enjoy the fun better.

Everyone has their own purpose. Serious gamblers are those who really take into account their loses over their wins and they improve their performance on any kind.

But we cant argue that some also doing this for fun. Well who dont want to play something that you will enjoy as well right? For me I am gambling to earn profits but I do it when I am actually enjoying it. Theres no happiness in losing unless your satisfy with the way you experience your gambling activity.

Like most of the players in physical casino are old people or some grandma who just going there to have some fun.

It's for profit to be honest, we want to experience how it is to win on games, sports betting or casinos for that matter. Only we say that we only play for fun and entertainment if we have a lot of money to burn and gambling is one of them. But for average joe gamblers like most of us, we all know that we stake because we wanted to win money. So it doesn't matter what kind of games it is. Maybe you might be right though that there are certain gamblers who hide in the reason that they want to play to have some fun. But at the back of our minds, nobody wanted to lose money.

Of course everyone is gambling for the money, no one is gambling fun but majority of people hide under the umbrella of fun. Like I usually say that what is fun in losing money? when there are many online and offline games for fun. People either gamble to make short time profit or to make success from it, but apart from that I don't see any other reason why they are gambling. The only fun in gambling is if you win unexpectedly, it will give you an unexpected joy. but  apart from that there is no fun in spending and losing.

You never know their true reason behind gambling and it doesn't matter, what they do is going to affect them and if they are lying to themselves that they do it for fun while in reality they just want the money and pushing beyond their financial capabilities, then I doubt they will get any better. Whatever, amount of money that I assign to gambling is already considered as a loss to me before I start gambling with it because I know that the chances of winning is low. I do this so that, I don't feel bad when I lose the money even though, I know that no one gains pleasure in losing.

You are wrong, not everyone claim that they gamble solely for the fun of it, anyone who is placing a bet has the hope of winning something from it regardless of how small the winning is, if we gambled entirely for fun then why gamble at all, there are a lot of other things we can do for fun. We want the fun of it but we also want to get something else out of it, there has been time when I needed some extra cash and I got lucky enough to win a few games, I'm not going to start claiming I wasn't hoping to win or tell you I was doing it entirely for the fun of it.

In the beginning when I entered the gambling platform and always try to observe something new and entertain myself by playing new games every now and then. But at the end of the day, I lost the money I was entering with and profited for a long time. From this I started to think of a new consciousness in my head, maybe from here it is possible to benefit from discipline or self-control. Come on man, you know exactly why people are gambling. They're trying to make money period. Yes they want to have fun while doing it, but the only way that most people are having fun is if they are winning. Most people start getting frustrated or depressed when losing so they aren't having 1 bit of fun and only growing more and more frustrated.

It would be nice to go out and enjoy the casino with friends and have fun and break even, but that usually doesn't happen. At least in that scenario you might likely have had some fun and avoided going into depression from losing. Sitting at home alone is different though. When you're home playing online you're purely looking to make some money for the day. Fun is secondary to profit.
