It's hard to admit that for some reason, other gamblers are just gambling for fun. They do understand that gambling can never guarantee them with profits so it will be best if they would seek entertainment from gambling, that way they may lose but they still get the fun and entertainment they are looking for.

But for majority, they are gambling to make money including myself. However, as long as we are responsible on it and we gamble using our extra money, then losing from gambling will never hurt us that much.

I believe that should always be the point of view of a gambler. Being responsible. It will help avoid getting hurt after losing money.

Asking ourselves if we are still having fun is one good way to tell what's going on. It's not crazy, but it will remind us that we shouldn't be forced to play just because we lose money, even if we're no longer enjoying it. There was a time I almost puked while playing slots after getting a very bad losing streak. That's one sign that I was not happy playing it anymore, so I stopped and looked for a new game to help me get entertained again.

If I say about mine then I always try to use that kind of fun what is very small to my income and I make a fixed budget for a month so that even I face loss I feel bad but it don't put me on depression.

You are right, I find it difficult to believe that someone actually gamble for enjoyment. People do not look at gambling in a good light, which is why no one wants to directly say 'why people gamble'. But I think people do it mainly because they have the addiction to win and the thought of making a profit, and at some point when they become addicted to it because of doing it repeatedly, they say they gamble for fun.

But I always gamble with the desire to win. And this addiction forces me to gamble again and again. If you could not win money in gambling, then I am sure no one in the world would gamble.

In the past, I tried to change my life from gambling but I realized it wasn’t that simple. What we see on social media isn’t always meant for us, it’s often just other people’s luck and we hope we got the same luck, how naive.... Now, I gamble with a limited budget to make sure I don’t get greedy chasing big wins. I change it and choosing to gamble for fun. If I win big, I’m happy if I lose money I still enjoy the game. There’s too much disappointment when we expect to win from gambling many people become frustrated because they keep losing while hoping to earn big from it.

You are absolutely right, there is indeed too much disappointments for those who expect to win big from gambling, this used to be my experience as well some 2 to 3 years ago when I gambled majorly for money but never got it most of the time, I find myself angry and disappointed and sometimes, I end up transfering the aggression to other people around me which I always ended up regretting at the end of the day.
