Still over 80% approval user rating does not lie, I have mined this coin since 1st week of launch. It is one of the few coins I see holds lot of potential with serious investors & merchants. If everything goes well we may even see it on bitcoin ATMs by end of this year.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

There hasn't even been a single trade on any exchange.

There hasn't even been a single trade on any exchange.
Time for an update?

There's a price on both exchanges now.
Would have been nice with a bigger exchange, like Bittrex

Only two pools on the list are currently working:

http://p2poolcoin.com:3094/static/
http://vc.hardcoreminers.com

minep.it has been out for some time now.

Dev, can you please update this in the announcement?

Dude, you complained about no trades and we gave you trades. Now you complain again about low volume?  Grin
There has to be some compromise before that can happen, either make the coin more interesting or reduce the price... I'm solomining this easily with my old NVIDA these days... and it's not even hot!  Grin

This coin is way better than something called doge coin... come on, businesses would take that name seriously, feels like doge style Wink

I feel litecoin with scrypt only support is now history, it's time we move to X11 & currently I see VirtualCoin ( VC ) the best out their, just needs to be listed on popular exchange.

I'm only complaining because I'd like to see this coin do well. Not even so I can dump my coins as I don't have to enough to make it a big thrill. I'm glad it's gaining a bit of traction.

Instacash contacted with helping out to build MAC OS wallet for .1 BTC.

What's everyone's thought? it is worth it or wait for later?
yes, donation for this will be needed to raise .1 BTC

This would need redoing every time you add checkpoints and bring out a new wallet?

VCoin.ca seems to have an error going on. It used to point to this thread, I noticed it no longer worked yesterday.

It seems a block explorer with compatibility for X11 coins already exists, why do we not have one yet for VC?   https://github.com/bitcoin-abe/bitcoin-abe   Smiley

I still think this coin can take off. VC just needs some marketing.  With a name like Virtual Coin, there can be many uses for it.  It's like the "general" cryptocurrency.  Dev should hit up bittrex so we can get some action in.   Smiley

+1 on the better exposure and exchanges. Good time to get into VC for anyone in marketing I guess. I have someone in mind that may be able to help with a little exposure, we will soon find out.

You need to tweet for Bittrex these days. They won't answer to just requests...
