Unfortunately, this may get you banned from Bitcointalk. Mixers are not allowed to promote themselves on Bitcointalk, not even indirect promotion, if the service offers another service in addition to mixing.

Quote from: stompix
Well, as the examplens said, the moment you implement that, Theymos is going to ban you and delete all the topics here.
Plus, just from the pure business side, I don't see why you would try to expand that way, especially with USDT, which is somewhat of a hot coin now eyed by all the sactions, it's just adding a lot of trouble to be honest.

Quote from: bitmover
I think it is safer to remain as an exchange to avoid scrutiny from the authorities as well.
You can offer a great private gain from swapping coins already.
Forcing the user to make usdt > btc and then btc > usdt back already increases his privacy and makes your service stay as an exchange

Quote from: examplens
The option was announced by the DEX strain as a conversion, and perhaps the closest would be, for example, a conversion from ERC20 to TRC20 or vice versa. Where it would be presented as the focus of switching the network on which the coins are. In a way, it wouldn't be direct mixing feature

Appreciate all three of you catching this — genuinely useful pushback. The intent was never to add a mixing feature; the idea was to let users avoid the extra network fee/spread from routing USDT through BTC and back when all they actually need is the same asset on a different chain. That's a network-switch use case, not a mixing one — but we can see how the wording read otherwise.

To be clear: there's no mixer coming. We'll stick to what examplens suggested — framing this properly as USDT network conversion (ERC-20 ↔ TRC-20), not same-network round-tripping. Thanks for keeping us out of trouble on this one.

This reminded me, and I forgot to ask
How long is the order information kept on dex.fo?
Yesterday I did a swap on this exchange, and about an hour after the order was completed, I could no longer load my order ID page. There was some sort of endless loading, I got the impression that the order log had already been deleted.
➥ Up to 12 slots if you added a link to your KYCNOT review to the proof (current order ID).

That's expected behavior, not a bug — we don't retain order data beyond a short window after completion. What does persist is the PGP-signed confirmation for that order, which is what actually proves the swap happened and its terms — that's the piece that matters for any dispute, not the live order page.

Always save your PGP confirmation at the time of the swap; the order ID page itself isn't meant to be a long-term record.

Yes, that's clear, I'm not saying it's a bug. It is even a recommended way. I'm more curious how it can be verified that the order has been executed, which is one of the conditions of this free raffle. Moreover, kycnot.me is unlikely to verify feedback in such a short period of time, while the order is still visible.

Fair concern. Simplest fix on your end: take a screenshot of the order page right when the swap completes, before that short window closes. That screenshot serves as your proof for the raffle regardless of whether the live page or the KYCNOT review catches up in time.

Quick check-in given the week we've had — BTC pushing toward $80K, heaviest swap volume we've seen since the pair launched. Appreciate everyone who stuck around through the Fast mode hiccups while demand spiked; that's exactly the kind of stress-test that tells us where the tuning still needs work.
Good to hear that! looks like the pump woke up everybody Cheesy the CMC fear & greed index jumped to extreme greed this week.. something we havn't seen since 2024 Shocked
Really, this pump has put some energy back into us, even if we knew there would be a recovery but every single time it feels like new haha. Time plays a vital role, because the last pump was in 2025. Since then we have been in a bear market and still it is early for us to think of a bull run again because BTC hit a new ATH in October and a few days after, the market dumped and we saw a black swan event.

There was some sort of endless loading, I got the impression that the order log had already been deleted.
It happened to me as well, the pages kept on loading once I tried to open the link in other tab, but it was fine when I was exchanging from start to end. But I still gave the link, as I thought maybe it was not opening in my browser (tor), but kycnot could verify somehow, because they confirmed the feedback.

You're right before that pump many people were in fear that Bitcoin will dip further to levels of $50k or below it and that's why they weren't active in the market. The market went up because of that pump and the weak hands who in fear sell their Bitcoin holdings mostly accumulate Bitcoin during the pumps. Many people called Bitcoin's current pump as false sign of bull run but they don't have solid evidence to prove their claims. Hope this pump and Bitcoin's value will remain over $75k for sometime so the market can see a good recovery and the investors will get more confidence.
