Hello, fellow COMM coiners.
Ive finally got around to doing the COMM coin value/portfolio calculator

The calculator can be downloaded from Google Drive (You will need to sign in and the use File and Make a Copy)

The Currency is set to GBP, This can be changed by changing the following:-

Currency conversion using Google Finance, Select field B18 and change the "CURRENCY:GBPUSD" to "CURRENCY:EURUSD" for example. Obviously this uses the typical three character currency identifier.

Then... BTC and LTC reference a script within Script Manager, COMM (COMM displays the value in BTC this does a lookup to the Cryptsy API (http://pubapi.cryptsy.com/api.php?method=singlemarketdata&marketid=198)

BTC and LTC use a lookup from BTC-E API, The supported currencies you can modify are:-
Currency List: USD, AUD, CAD, CHF, CNY, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, JPY, NZD, PLN, RUB, SEK, SGD, THB

You can then modify the {currency = "usd";} within Tools > Script Manager to EUR for example.

Then obviously just edit the fields that currently have the Euro entered.

This looks more complicated than it is!

Hopefully be of use to some, And by all means please feel free to edit and distribute to promote this fantastic coin.

Yes, but please be cautious about this idea, it has many difficulties.

One important point :  Coldstore users have to trust systems and technology more than other people. They are paranoid about security. How can you convince them that changing the way the private key works is going to be secure ?  It is the fundamental point of Cryptocurrencies.

The integrity of the current private key system is guaranteed by not touching it.
Instead a second key has to be generated, which gives the right to use coin age. The next question in line is: "Can two private keys be distinguished?"
I think the integration of a second encryption algorithm may achieve this. It should allow for two private keys that are explicit distinguishable and assignable.

next question: "How to implement an account responding to two different keys?"

I guess it's some bitcoin and peercoin whitepaper reading....
