After 2 weeks passed the top 4 looks really interesting.  Tongue

There is no Fenerbahçe or Beşiktaş. I thought both of them would make a better start than this after seeing their transfers. Galatasaray are the team with the least number of transfers among them but they have started better.

On the upcoming days it looks like they are also going to start bringing more players. Pape Sarr and Ismaila Sarr both are targets for them currently. However I have heard Crystal Palace asks for €60m as for Ismaila Sarr. Is that for real?

Fenerbahçe and Besiktas has been active in signing more players than Galatasaray this summer. I’m still surprised that they didn’t make to the top of the table after two weeks of the season. Fenerbahçe and Besiktas has lost one of their last two games, I won’t say they lost the game due to the Champions League and the Europa League qualifiers that both teams are playing. They lost against weak teams that I expected them to beat easily.

However, the champions have secured their place back at the top of the table after a 3-2 victory against Goztepe tonight. Galatasaray performance is very impressive, but they need to work on their defense, they shouldn’t be scoring goals and conceding more, which affected their first game of the season. Perhaps they should sign more defenders before the end of the transfer window.

You probably haven't been following things very closely, my friend. First of all, Fenerbahçe has qualified for the Champions League after an 18-year hiatus.
Secondly, there is no such thing as a "group stage" anymore; it is a direct league phase.
The draw took place yesterday; we could say Fenerbahçe got a slightly more favorable draw than Galatasaray, but matches aren't won before they're played.
I’ve already started wondering about the scores of Galatasaray’s matches against PSG and Barcelona.

Yes, it's true after many years Fenerbahce qualified for the Champions League and it's a good result. We'll see what they do in the next games, obviously games aren't won before they're played, God forbid. Eh, it will be difficult for Galatasaray to win against Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona. But there are also other games within their reach.

Fenerbahce have two most difficult home & away games to play in. Home games against Liverpool and Roma & away matches against Atletico Madrid and Aston Villa, out of the 8 teams they will face in the league phase, if they can get a good score from any of the four teams mentioned, they can survivnly work up the table, and play against weaker teams in the two legged knockout phase.

Galatasaray also have their own strong opponents, they will face  the defending champions, I still imagine a better chance for them to scale through, I'm happy that not only Galatasaray will be representing the Turkish League like last time.

Fenerbahçe actually got into a very complicated group, both for the teams they face at home and for the teams they face away from home. They will have to focus a lot on the public's help for the matches they will play at their home and demonstrate that what the club has done with the new players has been worth it. Cool

Osimhen's goal was a perfectly legitimate one, yet it was disallowed. Galatasaray's defense and midfield are still weak. I'm eagerly awaiting Leao he and Osimhen will be a great team. But what about the defense? They definitely need a transfer. For now, they're focused on midfield transfers, but a good central defender is essential. Anyway, I'm glad today was a day without any losses, at least.

Galatasaray scored three goals and picked up all three points. They conceded two goals, but still managed to get the win.
We saw the Osimhen effect once again and he had a huge impact on the match. He finished the game with 1 goal and 1 assist.
The new signing Batrakov played well and I liked what I saw from him. I think he's a good signing and will improve a lot more over time.
Galatasaray's new signing Leão was also at the match tonight. Let's see when he'll be ready to play and make his debut with the team.

funny thing is, while everyone was talking about Osimhen transferring to Europe and leaving Galatasaray, Osimhen is bringing his buddies to the team like he's gathering guys for a casual weekend match... imo at this rate, he’s going to retire at Galatasaray Smiley

Galatasaray came from a 1–0 deficit to win the match 3–2.
Osimhen was, of course, the key factor in this victory. He won a penalty, provided an assist to Sara, and put the opposing defense under significant pressure. His name continues to appear in transfer rumors, but if Osimhen were to leave Galatasaray, the team would be significantly weakened.
After yesterday's match, Leao joined Osimhen on the pitch to salute the fans.
I would also like to point out something regarding the match: Galatasaray is not playing good football. In their current state, it will be very difficult for them to pick up points in the first three matches of the challenging Champions League schedule.

I join you to congratulate Fenerbahçe because when they played draw in the first leg they faced backlash because people were afraid they will lose at the home ground of Lyon but impressively, they made it through by winning that match. Beşiktaş is another Turkish team that qualified for the next round even though they lost their match today by 1:0 against the team Kauno Zalgiris but their first leg massive 3:0 when gave them a huge advantage. Trabzonspor of course is the weakest among the Turkish teams in the European qualifiers, they lost to Ferencvaros by 1:0 in the first leg and today they are losing 2:0 and the match is still live in the second half, so there is no hope for them as today will mark the end of their journey in the European qualification round.

Fenerbache have come for a very long period without reaching the Champions League. This is because it was a team that had been very neglected by society in recent years and even the fans had lost a bit of hope. And this year the company has decided to change pace. After the passage to the Champions League he decided to build a team to be able to compete in that tournament too.

Oshimen single-handedly won the Göztepe match there’s no question about it. The match could have gone either way, but Oshimen’s impact was the deciding factor that secured the win for Galatasaray. The equalizer was a fluke goal. It’s clear that Batrakov hasn’t quite settled into the team yet. Still, he played well despite that. His quick decision making and ability to read the game were solid. He’ll improve once he gets used to his teammates’ playing style.

The problem is that this team should have solidified its system over the years, but instead, it has regressed. Player performances have become inconsistent. We used to see those extra runs and passes that created chaos in front of the box now those passes and runs are gone. Galatasaray looks disjointed this season. There’s no need to talk about the referees it’s the same old story every year.

Big congrats to Fenerbahce for breaking the curse of Uefa Champions League as they have been missing for 17 years, now though thanks to a wonderful performance outside home they won against Lyon now they will be playing group stages again. It looks like all teams from Turkey so far did very well, the only one who remain with a big question mark is Trabzonspor who complicated their life by losing their first game in their home against a much weaker team and a team with lower budget. They are still the favorite today to win against Ferencavaros though they have to be much more cynical in front of the goal as they missed a lot of opportunities in the first game, whatever happen to them it is a good year so far for Turkish football.

If my memory serves me right, they missed it for 18 years rather than 17, but in fact, it doesn't matter. Their 2-1 win over Lyon was incredible and frankly was not expected by me. İsmail Kartal did a good job strengthening his team, but next they should face Roma, which is very strong, so it will be the tough task for Fenerbahce to overcome them. Anyway, I wish them success.

Osimhen looks even better this season honestly. His finishing has got better, don't you think the same? It makes me feel like he was wasting many more chances last season. It's still early in the season I know but still this is the truth for now.

Batrakov has been criticized already and I don't understand those fans. What were you expecting? It was literally his first match! He even got subbed in after halftime. Just give the young man some time first.

Osimhen always maintains a certain level of quality in his game. Even when playing a friendly match, he gives his all to win. Unlike some other players, he doesn't differentiate between the Turkish Cup, league games, or away matches; he brings the same drive and quality to every single one.

I agree with you regarding Batragov. It isn't right to criticize a player after just his first match—or even to pass judgment at all. After all, he is a young person facing a new country and a different style of football. His entire environment and atmosphere have changed in the span of just 15 days. He needs time—perhaps at least two months—before any criticism is warranted.

As for my personal opinion—independent of yesterday's match—if this player is truly exceptional, why didn't Europe discover him sooner? Would a player like that really slip under Leipzig's radar? Leipzig is just one example; they were the first club that came to mind because, in recent years, they’ve made a habit of buying players cheaply, developing them, and selling them on to Europe's big clubs.

Galatasaray is slowly building a formidable team to compete better in the Champions League but their focus is mainly on attack and midfield. The defence is a bit porous they need solidification in that field and that will put them in a better position to retain the League title and for the champions league.

Once Again Osimhen keeps proving why he’s irreplaceable in this Galatasaray side, his impact in each game is outstanding and with the addition of Rafael Leao to the attack, we’re expecting more goals.
Galatasaray wingers and midfielders should be feeding Osimhen more passes and crosses.

Which teammate did Osimhen bring to the squad? If you are referring to Leao, they have never played on the same team before.
True to his character, Osimhen always strives to give his best, regardless of the match.
The transfer window is still open; he could still move to another team at the last minute.
Liverpool and Barcelona still lack quality strikers. We cannot say for certain that he will stay with the team until the transfer window closes; he wouldn't earn the same salary in Europe as he does at Galatasaray, but if the clubs linked to him want to sign him, Osimhen will leave.

I would like to see Fenerbahce challenging for the Turkish Super Liga Title, I think Galatasaray have won the Super Liga on two consecutive seasons, Galatasaray needs a challenge like Fenerbahce, and Besiktas, I like the way they’re spending money it show’s seriousness that they wants to challenge for the Title, Both teams have signed good players for European Football, Fenerbahce qualifying for the Champions League is also very good for them and would generate more money into the team, like you have said they have lost two games each, I think it’s because of the European Qualification game, and they have both achieved that which is very good for them on a performance Level, they will also improve as the season progresses.

There is nothing to say about the Turkish League right now, Galatasaray is still performing well. If they can maintain this consistency, then they have a good chance of winning the championship this season too. On the other hand, Fenerbahçe has not started well, but they have a good chance, I also see potential in Besiktas and Trabzonspor. Trabzonspor has also become a strong team after signing Salah. Basically, this season we cannot say right now who is going to win the title or who is going to finish the season in which place.

Getting a chance in the Champions League is definitely a big achievement for Fenerbahçe. They also have to focus on how to perform well in the Champions League. Now the big question is about the depth of their team, to compete in two leagues, the team needs depth. They seem to be quite active in the transfer market, so I think their team has enough depth. Galatasaray have not been very active in the transfer market, and there may be questions about whether the available players are enough to compete for the entire season.

Yeah, Osimhen and Leao never actually played on the same team but as far as i know, they're good friends and know each other's style inside out.
Honestly, Galatasaray hasn't had an attacker that pure fun to watch since Keita. Maybe Bruma or a bit of Garry Rodrigues and a tiny splash of Onyekuru...

ok Osimhen is insane, icardi was incredible but they just crave a player who takes our breath away while we watch  Smiley

I've really missed the times we joined the CL with 2 teams. Finally the time has come!

I'm really looking forward to the draw which is to take place in less than 2 hours... Good luck to Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe both on their future matchups.

This is a great opportunity for the Turkish Super League as well. If our teams bring extra points for us then this can effect the number of teams we send to this tournament directly as well.

It's been a long time since Turkey actually brought two teams to compete for the Champions League, but it must be admitted that Fenerbahçe deserved it and also managed to put together a remarkable team, which we can say was put together specifically to play in the competition, in addition to aiming for something more in the championship too.

Leão might debut in the next game, can't wait to see that happen. It really is a good signing for the club, it will help them compete among the big dogs.

Another regular match contribution from the striker. I'm realizing that the player hasn't left Galatasaray probably because he still wants to stay, this whole effort from the player isn't what an average striker does, just the way Haaland is a threat to every opponent in every game, some level of consistency.
