UEFA Champions League 2026/27 Season

Arsenal reached the final this year, and I'm really curious to see what they'll do next year. They were unluckily eliminated from the cup by Paris Saint-Germain, losing on penalties. However, this could be a motivating factor for them next year. The league stage has become much more exciting, and after eight matches, I already see Arsenal in the top three next year. If they maintain this ambition, I think they will achieve similar success next year.

Semi finals before and this season the Champions League finals, maybe they could finally win it next season. I was so eager to see them win it because all big side in the Premier League are Champions league holders except Arsenal, I will be most grateful if Mikel Arteta can win it for them.
They came so close this season, if not for that penalty awarded, they had what it takes to punish PSG until the final minutes of the game.

I absolutely agree! Arteta has the best defense not only in the PL but also CL actually. As far as I know they finished the CL as the least conceding team this season. 

He only needs to work on productivity with goals, yes. Gyökeres should be more in action. But for that they need a winger who will feed him instead of being more selfish. Saka isn't such profile so they had better sign one for left wing...

I'm looking forward to a better arsenal next season because it is possible for them to improve if they focus on getting good attackers.

Exactly, if Arteta can build on the attack, no team comes close to them in the race for the Premier League championship, they might win the league twice or more, just like Pep was when he began winning the Premier League.

The Champions League is another tough competition for Arsenal, we might have our next Champions League winners from the La Liga side, either Barcelona or Real Madrid, looking at the latest improvement from their end.

Yes Arsenal has a very good defense and that is one of the things that I love about the Arsenal team right now and they are going to do more better next season and yes if only they were very good in their attack in the match between them and PSG they would have won the match their only problem was attack, their attack is not good at all and I believe they are going to improve their by attack by signing good attackers.

I doubt Arsenal in Champions League next season because they will have new attackers and some old attackers will definitely going to leave the club next season, players like Trossard, Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus are going to leave Arsenal next season, although none of them have been announce as a free agent but one or two of these players are going to leave the club because Arsenal want to sign another attackers before or after the World Cup, Arsenal defense will still be good next season but not like the season that just end because they have a good season that no one expect from them.

Next season is not going to be easy for top teams because all the small clubs are going to be ready for them, every team will be ready for the Champions League and Real Madrid and Manchester United should be one of the teams we should look up to because they will have a good season, although Manchester United may not be scared of to play against but Real Madrid is going to be dangerous with the signing they are doing this transfer window.

It's too difficult to predict who the Champions League final will be next season because no one knows and Arsenal will still struggle to repeat the previous season, I don't know how consistent their play will be?

I don't know if Arsenal are now adding new strikers or selling them? Haven't found this news which means they still keep the old squad, for me it's good because the old squad will play better than rotating again.

Arteta style is base mainly on his defense tactics and it has yielded good results for him and that's why I won't be surprised if he even choose to tighten the defense more and make them more formidable. Arsenal have more chances at winning and correcting their mistakes which is the attacking option of their game and if they are able to do that then it would be very good for journey to secure more title and who knows maybe they might it right this time with the champions league as well.

Yes, it's only Arsenal that is the big team that haven't won the prestigious Champions League title, and all i can say is just that they are very unlucky because this is the second time in 20 years that they reached the UCL final and lost twice. Mikel Arteta should emulate Jurgen Klopp who won the Champions League for Liverpool and the following season he won the premier league. Though in the case of Mikel Arteta, he has just won the Premier League title last season so he should be looking at winning the Champions League next season after they failed to win it last season. I don't even have any reason to blame Arsenal for losing the Champions League title to PSG because they tried their best from full-time to extra time and then the penalty shootouts which obviously we know that it is a lucky winning for PSG.

It will be very difficult for Arsenal to reach the champions League final next season because I'm pretty sure that teams like real Madrid and Bayern Munich will perform better by next season and Arsenal could even leave the competition at quarter finals except they're lucky to get paired with lower opponents just like they have always been lucky but if the meet Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in round of 16, then their journey will be ending in the round of 16.

Real Madrid has shown their willingness to improve the team for next season and they have made several key signings both the signing of Cucurella at the defence and Bernardo Silva at the wings and many more possible deals before next season. For me, Arsenal has not really been very active in the transfer window even though there are rumours of a possible Alvarez deal to strengthen the attack. Arsenal is not going to find it easy in the champions League next season, Mikel Arteta must step up his game away from this defensive trick he played this season to be able to go far by next season.

However that did not work well for them and Gyokeres couldn't score as much as they needed him to score. They just need on top level striker who could give them 25+ goals a year, if they can find that, then they are a perfect team that can win anything.

Not only attack, Arsenal has a weak midfield. They hardly hold the ball in their midfield from where they'll start building the attack. Seriously, the only place Arsenal have any strength now is their defense, they need midfielders that can hold the ball before the attacking can be strong. IMO their greatest problem is their midfield, they've good attackers. Saka, Trossard, Martinelli, Havertz, Jesus are good attackers, but there's no strong Midfield to back them up. They're more defensive minded and it hurts them most times.

Mikel Arteta built a highly defensive side which depended mainly on set pieces to score goals/ Arsenal was very dangerous in corner kicks, free kicks, and even throw-ins that are close to the opponents' half. The strategy was working perfectly in the finals until they conceded that goal. The Gunners now came out to play the game, and this was when I began to enjoy it. From my observations, they would have scored more goals if they had mounted more pressure on the PSG defense from the first half.

Not only attack, Arsenal has a weak midfield. They hardly hold the ball in their midfield from where they'll start building the attack. Arsenal are just struggling in the match because they don’t really have champions league experience the players are just starting playing final and they really try there best is just that they don’t have the luck to win the champions league final. Because they are the team that first score and later PSG get the opportunity to get a penalty kick.

Artete have change pattern immediately they score one goal and the players start to defence and champions league is not like other competitions that you will be defending and thinking you can succeed easily. Any team that come to champions league is not a small club anymore and I think Artete have learn is lesson for next season.

He was always going to struggle at Arsenal because of their style and pattern of play and besides I don't even think the coach believes in him that much.

It's his first season in the Premier League and he was fairly good, people shouldn't expect him to come to the EPL and score 50 goals in all competitions in a season, he's not prime Ronaldo or Messi moreover it's the Premier League but he has lots of potential that we're yet to see, maybe it would be unlocked in Arsenal this season.
 As for Haaland he was very lucky to be in a team filled with lots of playmaker in his prime and such record would be tough to replicate especially now that Pep is gone and most of those players who created goal scoring chances for him in his first season are no longer there, he might struggle for goals next season.

Arsenal really did play a very great game in that finals and I think they also deserved a win in that match even though they failed to win it in the end. I know Arsenal was very confident that they’re going to win the finals after scoring that first early goal. They know that they’re very good at defense, so they were certain if they could defense the full time, there was no way PSG would equalize the game and win against them. I know that they will try to win the champions league next season, but I hope that they put in the same effort as they did this season to also make it to the finals by next season.

Of course, it's the same with all teams too. If any team can have a solid defense,good midfielders and sharp attackers, they will win any team they jam on their way up to the trophy. Arsenal is strong and they need more players to strengthen their attack because the ones they have are always weak at the last quarter of the season.

The difference between Arsenal and other clubs, Arsenal are not building from scratch, I mean from the defense down to attack, they already have them balanced and perfected, the only concern is right up front at the attack, Saka and Martinelli are no more reliable, their consistency ratio has dropped, they do wonders in one match and the next you can't find them.

Havertz and Gyokeres are good strikers, both positions don't need replacement, just two attacking wingers and Arsenal is complete and ready to challenge next season.

In fact, after scoring the goal, they defended very well, and Arsenal were very good until the penalty. Paris Saint-Germain scored the equalizer from the penalty, taking the match to extra time. Unfortunately, they didn't get the result they wanted from the penalty. Paris Saint-Germain were lucky and won. Arsenal, on the other hand, had shown throughout the match that their only chance was to win the cup through penalties by playing defensively. But they couldn't achieve that.
