I'm anticipating Arsenal will have a better performance in the champions league than premier league next season, because if you look their performance in the champions league last season were stronger than the premier league. Because they almost lost the premier league title but for the champions league, if not for their defensive strategy they would have won it. Arsenal are in better side to win the premier league title next season because Pep Guardiola has been the one making it difficult for Mikel Arteta to win the league. But now I'm confident for Arsenal to take over, because I'm not sure Enzo Maresca will win the trophy in his first season.
The Premier League was tougher for Arsenal than the Champions League, they haven’t won it for two decades and they have finished second in three consecutive seasons, so they can’t afford to lose the Premier League last season, and the competition was very tough because of Manchester City, yet they were able to keep good performances in the Champions League as well even though they were not lucky to win the competition despite not losing a single match at all. However, they will try to be stronger next season, they will actually want to maintain their dominance in the Champions league and try to win it next season, therefore, they will focus on the Champions League because that’s the trophy the team wants now.

Predicting who will win the UCL is not that easy, but also easy at the same time. I agree that there are few teams which can win it, so it is not like there are 30+ teams that we need to calculate, not all that goes to UCL have a chance, most of them have very little chance.
However, if we deal with something that is ab it smaller, and focus on the teams that can actually win it, then it becomes harder. Just look at last year, PSG won this season but they also won last season and last season was even more unpredictable than ever. Because they barely made it into top 24 on the last game, they were out all the way until last game, they got lucky and got into top 24 and then suddenly they beat everyone, on a year where they lost Mbappe, and barely made it into top 24, nobody gave them a chance and yet they won.

Let’s see how Arsenal are going to perform by next season, maybe they going to focus more on the champions league since they have won the premier league already, so their attention will be how they going to win the champions league, but I think Arsenal will want to win both the premier league and champions league by next season. Arsenal tried to win the champions league last season, but they couldn’t win it, they lost to PSG in the final, and the pattern which they used was the reason why they couldn’t win PSG in the final. They tried to play defense game and the pattern didn’t really work for them, let’s see how next season is going to be.

Over the last two season PSG has been the best in the competition winning it back to back is a good record they have kept and I nthe new season they will be one of the contenders this new season and a lot will be expected from them to defend the title as they have done in the last season. PSG have good players at the moment that's the secret behind their strength and performance if they keep up that right mentality and good momentum they will be champions again this season.
Yes PSG at this point is one of the strongest club. Them winning the world championships would have made it make sense, but Chelsea ended up winning the world champions, which makes their present performance questionable. I've been watching Chelsea's videos on their page on tiktok and I can tell that there will be a good change in their performance overall, but sadly they will not be in the champions league to further express their potentials next season

That's exactly their goal. It wouldn't be realistic to directly aim for the championship, but qualifying for the Champions League would be their first objective. Therefore, they will want to participate in the Champions League next year. Chelsea have been disappointing in recent years. Hopefully, this can change next year and they can be more competitive in the Premier League.

It seems like discussing Chelsea in this thread is not very suitable especially next season they will also not be in the Champions League so maybe it will be more suitable This is in the discussion thread for the Premier League rather than the Champions League. They finished in 10th place this season indirectly they will only focus on domestic competitions so discussing Chelsea here will look ambiguous to me. Tomorrow the 2nd leg for the first qualifier will take place although it is not very exciting because there are still no known clubs but it could quite be entertainment while waiting for the semi-finals of the world cup.

I expect the zeal to want to win more to die but since Pep is no longer part of Manchester City, they are going to think it's the perfect way for them to want to dominate the Premier League, they will not want to leave that place for any team at least to show they are ready and competent for the job. The Champions League is tough, so they will want to try again but they might not be favour as they were last season after the first stage of the league. I have not seen Arsenal talk about major moves, I don't know how they want to do it but the players are not fit and no new ones have been signed. At some point, many of their players went to injury, the same team couldn't win but perhaps now that they are now on break, they will want to settle down and rest so they can prepared ahead of the season before the leagues return back fully for next season.

Since Bohely actually took over Chelsea ownership I don’t think he has actually even set a championship title win as the aim for any manager and this is basically because he himself is aware of the kind of players he is signing for the managers and knows how they cannot compete for the title yet. This Chelsea team is so average in my opinion and any title ambitions with this squad is definitely over realistic. The club World Cup they won was simply out of the pure genius of Enzo Maresca who actually studied PSG playing style and tactics and use it against them. I have said before that it was this win that even made the Chelsea board not to recruit and think they could use the players actually win something tangible. If Chelsea still do not actually buy new players and most especially players with proven talent then it will be really difficult for them to compete for any thing right away. They would actually be needing more time to prepare and also the manager would need that time too be able to implement his ideas into the players

Even though Manchester City has the same players and setup , they should know that there is a change in leadership of the club in terms of coaching. Looking at the coaching pattern of this present coach with that of Pep it looks similar but the mentality of this present coach matters a lot. This coach most transmit a winning mentality if Manchester City is still going to dominate this league.

Paris Saint Germain, Bayern Munich and Arsenal are among the teams that I consider as the favorite for the Champions League title next season. Because if you look at this three teams, they have better squads that can get the job done. And their last season performances show promise that any of them can win champions league title next season. Although other teams are busy strengthening their squads, team like Barcelona and Real Madrid could turn out to be among the strong contenders for the champions league trophy.
Remove Arsenal from the conversation. A team can only win the Champions League if they can adapt to the roughness of any league and I don't see them as rugged team. They have good players no doubt, but they don't have players that are as strong like other teams. If they faced Bayern Munich in the Champions League, there is no way they are ever going to survive those attacks, they were beast last season till they get knocked out. The PSG they faced last season was in the final and they were even trying to be be careful, if there was opportunity for two legs, there is no way Arsenal will have that first goal and even if they did, the match will not end with that first goal, PSG will find a way to equalize. I don't think Arsenal will be like last season because the Premier League might be tough than how it was than last season. Arsenal cannot be removed from the list because they fought very hard to reach the champions league final. Arsenal played against Atletico Madrid, a team well known of being rugged and they beat Atletico. And Arsenal also beat Bayern Munich that had strong team this season. The reason i mentioned Arsenal is because their problem is minor and can easily be resolved. They need to improve their attack and they shouldn't rely on defensive game. If they can fix this, with what I observed in their matches I believe they can be a strong contenders for champions league title.

I hope Maresca will not have the mentality of seeing little wins as a comfort zone. I don't know how best to put it but alot of teams make this mistake of being carried away by little wins and relaxed there fore not taking their subsequent matches as serious as they used to do in the previous excelling games. It suffocates most of these clubs. Small victories make the team spoon-fed and instead of them to take the rest of their matches seriously they start acting reluctantly and you could immediately feel the absence of hunger for more success from their game plays. Unlike Pep who does not give a damn as to whether they are the team topping the league, he will still show the hunger and get the players to work like they never won any match earlier

That mentality usually goes with managing a small club and not for big name clubs like the Manchester City that has being given a reputable name in Europe and English football by Pep Guardiola. I am convinced to say that Enzo Maresca understand that task ahead and the weight of expectations on him from the club fans and his biggest win would be lifting an EPL trophy and not just a win against another EPL team.

So, in my opinion, it's not easy to predict who will win the Champions League because the teams playing in the Champions League are strong. Do you think PSG will be champions again next season? PSG has a strong squad, and it's very difficult to find weaknesses. But I hope that next season there will be a better team than PSG, so PSG won't be champions next season. I want to see other teams win trophies. I really want to see the Champions League match soon, but unfortunately, it's still a long way off.

And the Dembele's grace stated shining which leads him to won the Ballon d'Or and that was the Mbappe's target, but things didn't worked out well as he expected. Well, the Paris Saint-Germain last season final match that was played against Arsenal was a lucky game, but I feels maybe it was because the Arsenal are lacking attackers, but I know the Arteta will definitely do the needful against next season.

We can't be picking favourites when the season is yet to start. That's how we picked Liverpool as the favorites before last season starts just because they made some decent signings to improve their squad but what happened? They couldn't maintain the same performance and even went from winning the League title to struggling to make the champions league spot. Having a good season last time doesn't automatically make them the favorites, I think the favorites can only be known by how they start the season and how new signings are performing and adapting to the new system. I don't think Barcelona and Real Madrid should not be excluded from the favourites conversation because we don't really know what will happen and fast they can adapt to the new manager and new signings.

If they treat smaller teams as easy targets, Manchester City could easily lose points. However, I think Maresca will be very careful and will fight his best against every team. Pep Guardiola was actually like that too. They owe their many championships with Manchester City to this, in part. Now the manager has changed and the team is undergoing a restructuring. The next stage is very important.

Teams with stronger squad depth can reach the final, as they did last season. Arsenal, PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Manchester City are still strong favorites for next season due to their superior strength. But I haven't forgotten Bayern and Inter Milan, as these two teams have been very consistent in the Champions League. Now, for next season's Champions League, will Mourinho be able to lead Real Madrid to the final, given his extraordinary ambition after being appointed Real Madrid manager? As for Arsenal, they will likely do even better next season, having reached the final undefeated last season.

Yes, of course, predicting which team will win the Champions League isn't easy. There are many teams that I believe have a good chance of winning this competition. For example, there are PSG,, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Barcelona, Munich, and Dortmund. Therefore,, I think with so many teams,, it will be very difficult to accurately predict which team will win the Champions League. Therefore,, I don't think we need to worry about this right now, because the competition hasn't even started yet and is still quite far away. So, even though we have our own predictions, let's not take them too seriously. Basically,, to be able to predict more accurately, we must definitely observe the performance of the big teams. Only then will we have a glimpse of their potential in the Champions League. Therefore,, until the competition starts, we must be patient to be able to make better predictions.

Just because Arsenal reached the finals isn't a guarantee that they will be better next season and if you said they will do better next season than this season, It means that you are actually saying that Arsenal will win the trophy which I don't believe that's possible. They got their best shot last season but lost the opportunity. Arsenal performance might not be as good as last season.

You are right just like the popular statement which says tomorrow is not promised. Arsenal really got a big chance to take the champions league last season but the Arteta guys could not find their breakthrough against the PSG team which gave the PSG club a second chance to take the champions league again. Such opportunities may not be available as it was again. Because this coming season, from all the formations of transfers being carried out by most of the top tier clubs now, would pose more competition than it does last season. Does it mean Arsenal were only lucky to have reached the level of achievement they got last season? I don't believe so. I believe they worked hard for it and can still do better this season but needs to be even more tactical and more clinical this time around.
