The UEFA Champions League will actually be an interring competition next season, it used to be interesting, but some big teams that were left behind have started to build their team to be more stronger than they were last season and Real Madrid is a clear example; they have been listed among the favorites to win the Champions League almost every season, but in the past two seasons, their performance wasn’t appreciated by their fans, they hardly make it to the semifinal which is why they have decided to change their coach and also bring in more players, which means they are coming back stronger next season.

Whether Perez thinks about financial reasonability or not, who knows. Usually a club boss like Perez at his age doesn't have many reasons to care a lot about that. It is more about making big transfers, getting the players he wants, show his muscles as the Real Madrid boss. It is still a lot of negotiation going on of course, but at the end of the day I don't think that any transfer ever gives the bosses of a club sleepless nights. Do you think they had a problem letting Gareth Bale sit on the bench and sleep there? Or let him go play golf when there were team meetings scheduled? I think some people forget to capture eventuality when it has to do with the future, we about to go into the next season football business and even if we do not know what will happen next season, I don't think that arsenal will make it to the final of this competition next season, it is not because arsenal is not a good team, they are going to face opposing sides next season, different football clubs have mad their own preparations, I'm not talking about arsenal player being injured and as  a result of that not making it to the finals nah nah, apart from that factor, there are other factors that can hinder them next season.

That makes sense. Even the biggest clubs go through the same problem, they struggle to stay consistent when a few key players get injured. Even Real Madrid, a club with huge UCL experience, has been in that situation before.
