Love this OS, don't understand why there isn't more activity going on here.

Badman, are the install instructions for your branch still good for the new 1.5.6?
use sgminer5 that is now bundled with pimp, my branch hasn't been updated for some time

To list the available algo miners type:

Code:
mcontrol switch

Look the number for sgminer 5, then type

Code:
mcontrol switch (number)
mine restart

And the miner will start, next time you reboot the system, same miner will start.

I've had trouble getting PIMP to work in the past but got 1.5.6 up and running in no time. My issue previously may have been a UEFI setting in bios but not sure. Anyway, it's working great now and the 50% boost in hashrate is very nice.

I used SMOS in the past and loved the extensive Munin stats. Any possibility of getting something similar in PIMP? At least extending the charts to 30 days would be nice.

A friend had a lot of problems with 1.5.6 and rolled back to 1.4.* also.  I´m doing fine with 1.5.5.1 and 1.5.6. But I´m having less uptime than with 1.4.2, did not figured yet what´s the problem.

I've just setup a cron job to reboot every 6 hours.
I think it's only Sgminer5 that's unstable.

Personally I have no issues with v 1.5.6, however you can always check out the wiki page http://wiki.getpimp.org/wiki/Home or join the #pimp on irc to find solutions for your issue.

I used:
linux binary don't work  Huh

linux build

Code:
sudo apt-get install libssl-dev libdb-dev libdb++-dev make cmake automake libboost-all-dev build-essential git libcurl4-openssl-dev pkg-config libtool libncurses5-dev

git clone https://bitbucket.org/1coin/1coin-sgminer3s/src.git sgminer3s
cd sgminer3s
autoreconf -i
CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall -march=native" ./configure
make
Add sgminer3s to poolmanager and create a new sgminer3.conf

Hello everyone, I apologize in advance for my English Googled, I have a problem with the installation of any version of pimp, I used bamt and I had had a great time with this PIMP, then I wanted to upgrade my version 1.5.6. with that before 1.7.0 and 1.6.0. and then gives me this when I start the rig :

GRUB loading
Welcome to GRUB

error:unknown filesystem
entering rescue mode...
grub rescue

is a driver issue? Thank you for your attention

excuse me if I say inaccuracies ..... do you mean by FS? are still inexperienced, type md5sum that means?

I have downloaded all files img all kinds of OS pimp, with all types of drivers, are willing to try them all, just that I can start it, I'm getting nervous because it worked fine until last week now seems an ordeal
