Braga didn't play because the players caught a virus, and the game against Gil Vicente was postponed.

In this round I planned to bet on all the games involving the big teams, but strangely I fell asleep and forgot to bet on the Sporting and Porto games, but at least I managed to bet on the Benfica game which had the following result:

Casa Pia 0 - 7 Benfica

Before this game started I thought: " I don't trust these Benfica guys, but they can score goals, if they have a good defense they can win " so I decided to bet on them and went further by betting that they would win by 2 goals. For this I chose the Asian market because the odds were better, around @1.66. It was a risk worth taking and fortunately Benfica won very easily. I don't know what the Casa Pia players were thinking during this game that they didn't focus on it. The defense was a mess, the Casa Pia goalkeeper tried hard but he alone couldn't prevent the 7 goals. Poor Casa Pia fans who left the stadium humiliated, especially playing at home. Benfica has usually been terrible away from home, but yesterday they were incredible.



Benfica's next game will be against Estoril, an opponent that isn't strong. Porto will play against Arouca, who could cause problems. Sporting will play against Alverca, who aren't strong either. I'm still thinking about whether to bet on a multi-bet or just on the Sporting game if it's worthwhile.

It was an incredibly convincing victory, but I don't think the sheer number of goals matters, a 2-0 win would have earned them three points. But they were one goal short in the previous round, and that draw took those points away. I never considered Benfica a prolific team that would score a lot of goals, I thought they were more rational when they were able to look ahead and save their energy for future matches if they already had a win in the current one.

The big 3 continues to impress as none of them have drop points yet. Sporting had a difficult game but they were able to come up with a win, and a deserving one too. They won 3-2, I gambled on this game, I put my money on sporting and man, I was tensed all game.

The reigning champions continues to prove that they want to retain the title again this season. They played away from home, but still was able to get a win.

It was a goal galore, Benfica trashed Casa pia 7-Nil. It the biggest win of the season so far. Benfica might be a team to watch out for this season. I really like how they always score with ease, they create chances easily in every game they play.

I was looking at the results of yesterday’s games, and Benfica’s 7-0 away win in the Portuguese league caught my eye. I went and watched the highlights, and Benfica managed to score goal after goal with remarkable ease. They scored two goals in the 14th minute through Rafa Silva and Prestianni, and by the 47th to 54th minutes, Pavlidis had already completed a hat trick, bringing the score to 5-0—but that wasn’t enough; they scored two more goals just seven minutes later. It seems like an incredibly high-scoring victory for Benfica—I don’t know what anyone else thinks—but it looks like they took out their frustration from their draw in the first week on Casa Pia.

I was thinking exactly that about them, which is why I didn't include or say anything in my predictions. I thought Benfica wouldn't be able to produce those kinds of shots on goal they were having. But looking at the statistics, they had 8 shots on goal and converted 7 of them into goals. I hope this is repeated in the games against Porto, Sporting, and Braga, which for me are the ones that will be in the top 4 or top 3.

I watched this game and I already thought that number of Benfica goals will reach double digits. They reached 7:0 result with 30 minuted until final whistle remaining and I'm sure that they were capable to add 3 more goals, but it wasenough for them. It's logical, considering that just after few days on Thursday they have Europa league playoff game with Aarhus, it's not going to be that easy.
After several game that I saw, Benfica looks very nice to watch, it's complete opposite of Mourinho team when they were scoring 1-2 goals per game most of time.

two matches have already been played today. Maritimo managed to recover two goals and draw 2-2 with Academico Viseu. in second match Rio Ave secured their first victory of the season beating Estoril 2-0 away. in another match Sporting CP is leading Alverca 1-0 late in the first half. I don't think there will be any surprises here and Sporting CP will secure the victory.

The results of this round involving the big teams didn't surprise me.

Sporting 3-1 Alverca

I expected Sporting to win this game, which is why I put them on my parlay, but I didn't expect them to score so quickly after just 2 minutes. It was a very quick goal, a long-range shot by a Sporting player who scored the first goal after 2 minutes. I think the Alverca goalkeeper wasn't very focused. But then he saved Alverca when one of the Sporting players took a long-range shot and he made the save. The first half ended with Sporting winning 1-0.

The second half started and 10 minutes later Sporting scored their second goal. It was already clear that Sporting would win the game with relative ease, and 5 minutes after the second goal, Sporting scored their third. I even thought the game would end without Sporting conceding a goal, but Alverca scored in the 88th minute.

FC Porto 2-0 Arouca

Porto continues with a good and solid performance, a good defense and an acceptable attack. They have 3 goals and 3 wins, zero losses and zero goals conceded. I see that this season they are very determined to fight for the title that currently belongs to them. But if they manage to win the title again They would break their long streak of winning the Portuguese league consecutively. It's been over 10 years since Porto last won the Portuguese league consecutively.

Defending champion Porto has made a very strong start to the season as well. They have consistently won all three of their matches so far by a score of 2-0.
It is as if Porto has a subscription to the 2-0 scoreline.

The Lisbon side dropped points in the opening week and currently has 7 points.

Benfica, meanwhile, has 4 points. Their match against Moreirense, originally scheduled for this week, has been postponed to September 9th due to Benfica's UEFA Europa League fixture against Aarhus.

By November at the latest, these three teams will pull away from the rest of the pack in the standings.
My prediction for the championship is Porto.

Porto will never disappoint as the defending Champions, they gave me what I was looking for, a winning game was much needed, Sporting CP also impressed with their performance and they still gave me a winning game, I find some teams very interesting in the Portuguese League now, I have to start paying attention to them, I could probably be getting a good result prediction from the League.

 Porto looks more organized compared to Sporting Cp and Benfica, Benfica wouldn’t be playing in the Champions League after having an unbeaten season without winning the Title, how does that make any sense, that is why they deserve to play in the Europa League.

I correctly predicted the games in the round I bet on above. In the last game, Gil Vicente struggled a bit, but it ended up working out and my accumulator bet was successful. For the next rounds, I believe we'll only see changes at the top of the table in rounds 7 and 12. In round 7 we have Porto vs. Benfica, and in round 12 we have Porto vs. Sporting. Until then, it's generally agreed that both teams will win their matches, which is a great betting opportunity! What do you think?

Sporting were very effective yesterday - in 1st half they made just 4 shots on target and they turned all these shots into goals. When you have 4:0 at halftime, you don't need to do much in 2nd half. Not often you can see 4 goals with xG just 1.66
Porto game against Academico Viseu was something similar - Porto made just 5 shots in whole game, 4 of these shots were on target and 3 were converted into goals. xG is just 1.47 there too.

I think the opposite; it's more to Sporting's credit than Rio Ave's demerit. Sporting is one of the biggest teams in the world and in Europe; there's not much that can be done to stop them with everything Rio Ave possesses. All we can do is watch and bet on Sporting; there's nothing else we can do.

I'm happy to have added Sporting, Porto, and Benfica to my parlay. But I didn't imagine that Sporting and Porto would score so many goals against their opponents, especially Porto, because I assumed their opponent would cause problems.

Rio Ave 0 - 4 Sporting

That game was funny. Sporting scored the first goal in the 5th minute of the first half. I was happy and at the same time wondering if there would be some unpleasant surprise, something like Sporting relaxing to focus on defense. But to my delight, 11 minutes later Sporting scored their second goal, which reassured me, and then came two more goals. Sporting scored 4 goals in the first half and I even thought there would be more, but in the second half they didn't score anything. It was strange.

Académico 0 - 3 FC Porto

While Sporting scored in the 5th minute of the first half, Porto overcame that and scored in the 4th minute of the first half, and 15 minutes later Porto scored again, this time their second goal, making it their third goal in the first half. However, they didn't score anything in the second half. The same thing happened with Sporting; it seems that, seeing victory as guaranteed, they decided to conserve their energy and manage the result in the second half. This is a good strategy when playing against weaker opponents.
