What's up with the servers? I've (along with a friend on a different internet connection) been having frequent disconnects, fallbacks to secondary pools, and massive rejected shares. This is while mining on equihash and daggerhashimoto using claymore's miners.

Hash happened multiple times in the last 72 hours, across 30+ rigs.

SAME PROBLEM HERE--

The web charts are full of RED.  My rigs are mining as normal, but receive an extremely high rate of stale shares.

Are the NiceHash servers simply overloaded with new miners?  AMD graphics cards are in short supply at most vendors.       --scryptr

I've looked there, but if  you want to buy hashpower, all the offers are just not profitable?

Glad to hear I'm not alone. I'm pulling all my power off nicehash until they fix this, I've lost too much money already. Hopefully we can get a fix soon.

Any similar alternatives to nicehash out there?

Come to think of it, I haven't noticed if the issue was happening also on ETH.

What kind of mining sw are you using? Is it claymore, is it latest? Try with latest. Also try with latest NHM.

Yes, claymore 12.5. Was working perfectly forever, until 2-3 days ago.

MY RIGS ARE LINUX--

They were working well until the last 48-72 hours.  If you have NiceHashMiner for Linux, I may use it.  Currently I am mining Equihash with Claymore 12.5.

The indications are for a server-side problem.  High latency or overload of some sort.       --scryptr

We ruled server side issue out, since all other software besides claymore is working just fine.

Try upgrading claymore and see what happens then.

Yes, it's definitely a server side problem.

Chop chop, nicehash. Fix this so I can keep mining here.

Just to be clear, you work for nicehash? Can't update claymore, 12.5 is the latest release.

Both 12.4 and 12.5 have this issue. 12.4 was working perfectly fine forever, so something changed on your end. The miner's code hasn't changed. I'd assume 12.5 would work perfectly fine as well if not for the issue on your end. I'll know that soon enough when I switch pools, currently fleshing out my options. I'm willing to bet claymore will work just fine on a regular pool.

I've had similar issues, but always in Claymore ZEC Miner, now nothing at all changed on my end, worked fine for ages and then suddenly all these issues, disconnects, periods of rejected shares etc.

Seems Tahiti based rigs may be more susceptible. Just a quick observation, nothing concrete.

I run a Fury, 390 and a 280 rig and happened on every one.

We have no idea what is inside Claymore. It could be a time bomb, it could be a bug that got triggered due to some anti-cheating mechanisms... But the fact that every single other miner does not have any issues... can tell you something.

NICEHASHMINER ALSO GETS REJECTS-

I have a couple Win 7 x64 rigs mining with NHM.  They run nVidia cards, and also have problems.  Are your servers overloaded?  Seriously, no way of knowing how many new miners have been rigged since AMD cards are out-of-stock everywhere.

Suggesting that Claymore is a bomb seems unrealistic.       --scryptr

I can also confirm high rejects. USA server. Took my rigs down and back to a pool yesterday morning. What was odd was is wasn't all rigs just a few. Seemed intermittent as well. Also notice on pool that I'm getting on my avg 750h/s more than what reported on nh over last months.  Going to stick on flypool for zec and see what a week will bring me and where my hash stabilizes. I know my ping to server is a ton better. Nh avg 150ms. Getting 30-50 ms straight to pool.  That is to be expected could be why I'm seeing slightly better avg tho.  Time will tell.
