There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

The recent changes to the running difficulty 65536 for SHA256 is too high for the pool I'm mining at. Starting difficulty 16384 is ok but not the running difficulty

can anyone give me a personal experience mining with a antminer L3+

I`m looking to buy 4x antminer L3+....but unsure if to send them straight to the litecoin pool or hook them up to Nicehash

how do the pay outs looks?

well you can see the scrypt price for renting hashrate, use that with the l3+ hashrate to see your profit.  Keep in mind L3+ arent shipping for a little while...difficulty may change (it will).

edit: for the multi mining, you can run claymore or your software with a direct nicehash stratum to your address without using nicehash miner.

Thank you very much for the info

I read NiceHash might purchase mining power on Nicehash to stabilize mining prices and these orders would be specially marked.

I have never seen any specially marked orders, what do they look like?

****** Accusatory and non-conclusory speculative statement to follow******

I watch the hashpower orders for some of the coins and it appears like and orderbot just continually raises it's orders even when

    1) it is highest order
     2) it is well above what you would pay for the coin on the open market

I can't understand anyone who would gain from this, other than possibly nicehash ( from stabilizing the mining market ) but I don't see any special markings.

No idea on this but it would be nice - I'm getting killed right now, lost another 50% profit in like 3 days.

Can someone explain to me how a pool diff of 16384 leads to "Disconnected. Pool difficulty too low for high speed." for a bridge with 18-30TH?
And why "Speed paying" includes this disconnected amount that NH disconnected?
Huh

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

Same problem here. As soon as my order becomes active Nicehash marks it as "Dead" for 5 to 10 minutes, sometimes more than 30 minutes. Then all of a sudden Nicehash gets the settings right, and the order starts working at full speed. During the "Dead" phases the error message at the order info page says "Status: Disconnected. Pool difficulty too low for high speed." and "Current diff: 16384".

The Nicehash API clearly shows "min_diff_initial":"16383" for SHA256. So what's wrong with my pool's inital diff of 16384?

Code:
Pool	Status	Miners	Speed PH/s	Current diff
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxx Disconnected. Pool difficulty too low for high speed. 0 0.0442 16384.00000000

exact same problem. they are requiring 65535 as the running difficulty which is too high for some pool to reach

It has to run before it can reach "running" anything.  Undecided

OP, why the low fee in the payouts now?

Fee per byte   5.363 sat/B

https://blockchain.info/tx/c5616afb6c65501503405346828ce1bf34169732c95ba795e35645dd6ee30c3d

With BIP91 on, we need at least 30 confirmations to go, this will take an eternity to confirm, bad move. Sad

I agree, by the way looks like the most of us has still not received  any payment. I am one of them.

Welcome to the edge of eternity (as it has 6 confirmations and 30 is an overzealous suggestion, not a necessity)

Now it's fine, about 13 confirmations here, but it scares to see such a low fee these days.

I stopped the mining rig since the next payout is projected to be on July 31, when Bitcoin forks, better avoid problems.

True, this time they used a very low fee amount, they used to have a lot higher, in fact I stopped mining at NiceHash for now, instead I am mining Ethereum now and I am waiting for AMD to release their driver in the coming weeks which fixes the DAG issue Smiley

Welcome to the world of realizing that you were just a pawn in the events that created segwit activation and that high fees were meant to scare you into thinking you needed to pay high fees.  Roll Eyes
