Well to prevent this from happening again, why not go back to weekly payouts instead of monthly for low income BTC miners?

It sounds like Nicehash is growing in popularity over the past month based on that number of payouts. Good news looking forward I would say.

After I bid on the hashing power I noticed nothing was happening. I checked my pool and my pools difficulty was too low plus I accidentally didn't put the full Username information. I looked everywhere for my order so I can pause or cancel it put nothing showed under orders. I deleted the pool and that's all I could do. I noticed they charged me for the order and the fee but I got no service for it! Is my money gone forever? I read somewhere on their site that if the order can't be filled the money refunds back to your wallet in a few mins but it's been a hour and nothing has been refunded. *Update I sent 3 support emails and no response, they did respond to me on Reddit with a copy and past response not related to my account. I will keep everyone updated with this! Here's proof I had zero orders! https://imgur.com/a/BhH7d

Just to follow up with the issue: we were in contact with @marketorder and there was nothing wrong with the order. @marketorder found his order(s) - the only issue was a not-so-perfect user experience with managing orders via our website - but stay tuned - we're preparing to launch a new website which will make buying and selling hashing power on NiceHash even better! Thank you for using our service! Best regards, NiceHash team.

Not sure if it's my maths or yours, but the scrypt rate doesn't look right (the percentage) I think the default rate should be around 0.0441 My workings (1000 * 25 / 131639) * (60*60*24 * 65536 * (pow(10,6)) / (pow(2,48))) = 3.82039559 3.82039559 x 0.01155 = 0.04412

Thanks, I used the current litecoin difficulty, but even using the old one the figures still don't work out right as it only dropped 0.29% on the recent change. Would you care to share your current formula so I can see if i need to tweak mine ?

Can you share a bit more about this new profitability calculator? Is this just a tool for calculating profits or it there anything else to it?

Looks good. The old one is/was handy, but anything to make it more user friendly and easy to read for new prospective miners the better.

It would be awesome if you could add more hardware options in the list, like 7970/7990, R9 280 etc and perhaps add several cards instead of just one at a time.

It is related to weekly payments; so over 0.01 BTC. But 0.001 will also get paid on Friday (next month). So basically everything stays the same just move from Saturdays to Fridays? under .001 is still once a month correct? Icon

I know it's ever changing and hard to predict, but if I wanted to pull in 0.01BTC per day, how much hashing power would I have to purchase right now?
And I must add, being a miner off and on for the last 4 years, Nicehash has been the easiest, most reliable way for me to "physically" mine. And because it's so good, I'd like to slowly try out their purchased mining!

You would need to determine what coin you wanted to mine and enter the potential hashrate you wished to purchase into one of the online calculators to see what you would need for that amount of BTC in a day. www.whattomine.com is my personal favorite due to the sheer amount of coins and algorithms you can experiment with on their calculator(s).

One more question. As a miner, I'm earning around $5-6 per day. I want to maximize my profits and turn that BTC into BUYING hashing power on Nicehash. How to I prevent my balance from constantly being deposited to my BTC address and just keep rolling over in my account?

That's perfect, thanks. I was unaware that there were two wallets, one for mining balance and one for deposit. Makes sense though! Thanks!

Ahh I don't think we can/ suppose to use our selling hashrate adrress to become our deposit address with nice hash... are we? Lol like some kinda of time travel paradox Icon
