Greetings nicehashdev.

Can you please update Darkcoin wallet and stratum to the latest version to support MasterNode payments? Nicehash is one of the few remaining pools that have not updated yet.

Thanks.

I couldn't find any references - what is it about at all? Keep in mind, we do not offer mining of Darkcoin, we only offer shares being validated (x11) and forwarded on and that is being done with help of stratum protocol. We don't use Darkcoin wallets.

12:30 BST
Can not connect to X11 or X13 (again!!!!)

[2014-07-12 12:29:11] Stratum connection failed: couldn't connect to host
[2014-07-12 12:29:11] ...retry after 30 seconds

# ping nicehash.com
PING nicehash.com (162.159.248.154) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from nicehash.com (162.159.248.154): icmp_req=1 ttl=54 time=40.1 ms

I used to like nicehash but these dead periods are getting silly.
Is it just me or it is time to look for a more reliable service?

I have a nvidia rig which works with a homemade script to switch between X11 and X13 (nvidia loves those two!) but that isn't causing me to get blocked or banned is it?
I check the profit every 5 mins and switch accordingly.

Thanks

Same here! All the X-Coins and Nist5 won't connect. Stratum: No Error =(
Only Scrypt is working.

If you find anything better pls let me know.
sick and tired of these disconnects, their service is down like 20% of the time.
really want to find something else until they fix it, but I don't know of anything better.

Last couple of hours no mining at all...

for all who has disconnect miner.
Try to use backup 43XX port with correct multi-algo settings.
like this for nist5 only mining   f0=0.00 f2=0.00 f3=0.00 f4=0.00 f5=0.00 f6=0.00 f7=16

I have used trademybit.com in the past but they have a tendency to mine some risky coins unless you mine to a specific port and choose the coins yourself.
For instance, they currently show 0.00102 BTC/day/mhash using X13 against APEX
That's where I am off to until nicehash sort themselves out.

That's better:
[2014-07-12 12:58:05] accepted: 13/13 (100.00%), 7458 khash/s (yay!!!)

Maybe I will change my script to pick the best coins over on trademybit instead?

nist5 works because it most profitable now. this port is multi-algo. if you want to mine only one algorithm, change password to f0=0.00 f2=0.00 f3=0.00 f4=0.00 f5=0.00 f6=0.00 f7=16   for nist5, f0=0.00 f2=0.00 f3=0.00 f4=0.00 f5=0.00 f6=3.4 f7=0  for x15 etc. and it should work

Guys, keep in mind, we are under DDOS attack still. The protection is doing mostly a good job, filtering most of shit out, but here and there, it may happen that you get filtered out too.

Its a shame you are under DDOS attack but a 'protection' system that takes us out as well isn't so great.
There is so little profit to be had these days that dropping out unpredictably for hours isn't much use.
eg; dropping out for 2 hours in 24 means a 8% loss

Can you let us know when you think its sorted, and I will switch back?

Thanks

A significant lack of information in that post... How is your miner configured?  Did you specify custom multi-algo factors?

We have updated default factors several days ago. Check here what kind of default factors we use: https://www.nicehash.com/multialgo/

Just released a new version of NiceHash Control.  Now has features to prevent flickering between algorithms if two are paying close to the same amount.
