I am having no problem connecting with Westhash but I cant connect to Nicehash, very strange!
Ah! It was showing alive for me but when I forced it to switch it went dead, and my price threshold is exactly what is currently paying, so it should be alive - "pass": "d=1024;p=0.0222"

I can get everything working on Westhash ports 33xx but ports 43xx seem to be dead. Same if I try to use Nicehash. I presume the autoswitching pools are down???

Make sure you configure f, if you don't then all ports will be dead if you don't include all algorithms (except SHA256). will this get me 1 gh/s for 1.7 hrs ?? To get 1 GH/s, you need to limit it to 1 GH/s, else the calculator will calculate according to current max available hash power.

Made some good money early in the week, but the past few days have been less profitable than mining SHA256 on ghash. So I moved back to them. Hope to see the price kick up in the future here. I love the concept.

Just figured Id try mining on nicehash... couple questions...
Why so many "stratum from pool 0 requested work restart" messages in cgminer? -This happening so often doesnt it mean mining efficiency is going down the can....? Ive seen this barely ever happen on good pools.
Also, my avalon3 module simply refuses to work on nice/westhash ... all work is hard rejected as HW errors, while the avalon3 has no issues at other pools... Any idea why this is?
Im using latest cgminer 4.5.0 build...
Also, do you guys have a IRC channel?

Is anyone else having issues connecting to the Nicehash pool to mine SHA256? My Antminers just say the pool is Dead, my settings all appear to be correct and it worked a few days ago just fine. Now that the Daily price has gone up I wanted to switch but I cant get back on now???
I have two S3 connected to nicehash as we speak. No problems, at least for now That is very odd they are working with Westhash but not Nicehash Check your password/price All OK, Password = X I had it set to p=.0255 but changed to X because my Antminers never flipped back when the rates went up, and now it just says Dead when trying to mine on Nicehash! Same settings work perfectly well on Westhash though??? Nicehash doesn't not like me anymore I have sortoff the same problem Also dead pool even if price is higher than set price at password. Sometimes it connectes to nicehash pool and than only mines halve speed... The temps of miners also very low than, and after reboot nicehash pool is dead again.

Nicehash ... please make payout amounts changeable. Every 4 hours is way too often and the fee is WAY too high! 0.01btc / payment with a 2% fee .. is fucking rape, because that just puts a bunch of tiny inputs in my btc addy. Meaning when I go to spend all of them Ill have to pay yet another huge fee!

We may higher 0.01 BTC limit for payments to reduce dust. Let us know what you think.
What do others think ? I myself think this can cause two things 1. less orders so price of mines drop or 2. orders stay the same just nh make more from cancelled orders.

I agree, i think 0.01 limit is fine as is, in fact i would prefer even less to be available, but i can see why that could be problematic.

This is not the order amount we are talking about, but payments to miners, which is now 3 times per day for balances >0.01 and one time per day for balances >0.001. We will up it and make 3 times per day for balances >0.04 (one time per day for balances >0.001 stays). Let us know if this suits you better. I wonder why they don't listen and merge westhash and nicehash togheterr. are they blind or something ?westhash is always pulling price down
It has been explained few pages back. But if you think it is possible, let us know your solution (we need detailed technical solution that is possible to be realized according to existing limitations of mining software and targeting pools).

Ahh yea I guess upping the ammount miners are paid is better for them with less fees you could even maybe if possible have your minimum but then offer to the miners their own minimum . So if they wanted to be paid when they reached 0.1 btc they could set that and save a few transactions.

Why not just make payouts once a day.... and a minimum of .05btc...? Also, if a miner hasnt met the .05btc after 5 days then trigger payout for whatever amount he is owed. Or something to that affect...
