Nicehash has been up and down like a yoyo for me

https://nicehash.com/?p=miners&a=0&d=2&addr=1BaDGfdZPpHvULtRzJ8ecBo1owv7Qaov6P

It's mostly been failing over to westhash ok. I'm in the UK but I'm beginning to wonders if I've got a problem with all of my rigs or if nicehash has a problem

It was fun while it lasted.

I was able to rent hash rate (sha256) at competitive prices for a while and even turn a small profit but these days seem to be gone. There is a "whale" in the order book who sucks up all hash rate at ridiculously high prices and totally ruins it for the rest of the buyers. I have waited 4 weeks now, hoping this problem would solve itself when this one guy runs out of money but he seems to be pumping ever increasing amounts of BTC into it and just won't stop.

Today I am withdrawing my remaining 3 BTC, I'm not going to continue trying to compete against such insanity, I'm forced to leave this market, there is nothing to buy here for me anymore :-(

Good bye
Bye! I'm so sorry that someone is willing to pay more than what you're willing the pay..

Hi,

Hmm, this is definitely not an issue for all of the providers, for example, take a look at this one: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=miners&a=0&addr=12DDodxUayd29HqkyA7WQD9wuYV9tv5MQU ... maybe there were some internet network issues between our location and some of the providers...

Is it possible to sell hashing power while still mining at same pool address and do you get your block rewards??

and configurating difficulty is important to get more out of my miners (got 20% increase)

i'm just thinking dont you hide anything?

Do i still have to use beta branch of sgminer5 to mine on nicehash ? I heard that sgminer5 has moved to stable branch, so have doubts. Is it still ok to compile as below ?

Code:
git clone -b v5_0 https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer.git
cd sgminer
git submodule init
git submodule update
autoreconf -i
CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall -march=native" ./configure
make

Hi,

Those of you who are having issues with random periodic  disconnects and/or higher rejects (and haven't seen these issues in the past days) please send us your BTC address, you public IP address and short description of your miner (manufacturer/model) to info@nicehash.com ... there are obviously some issues with only some particular miners and we'll try to look in these issues. Thanks!

Hi,

We haven't modified our stratum servers for quite some time. As we previously said - there seems to be some isolated issues for particular providers (keep in mind that NiceHash is a complex system, dependent of buyers orders, end-point target pools and their work being send towards providers, etc.). However, we're unable to fix these issues if we don't have the details of the affected providers (at least BTC address and you public IP address) - you can send this info to info@nicehash.com and we'll do our best to take a look at these issues. Thanks!

details sent, I have the same problem on an a2 running cgminer and 3 gridseed blade rigs running cpuminer, attempted connects every 2 hours, but usually promptly dies. The westhash failover is usually fine.

Miner Control just received a version bump to support more information reporting.  This miner controller can handle profit switching between NiceHash, WestHash, and a couple of other pools with backup pool capability for any command line launchable miner.  This tool also works for CUDA based miners (ccminer and cudaminer) for those using NiceHash/WestHash with nVIDIA cards.

I, too am having serious issues all of  a sudden.  I have been trying to work with  them  on the issue all day yesterday. the solution  they came up with is  use the non  multi algo ports.  however this does not fix the issue nor does it  explain why  X13 is showing dead on my miners. I have done nothing at all   for over a month and all of  a sudden  this happens. I can't use the multi algo at all. I am using awesome miner for now. however it does not use westhash/nicehash fro profit which is what I really need
