We are moving up nicely on MP voting, 11th place with 9 and 10 gonna fall quick. Wink

That's the best part about XSI on MP - the coins that stand between XSI and the top ranks in voting are pretty damn dead so it will be passing many of them this week

I really think before XSI goes on MintPal, it should make 1 release or at the very least an update on what they are working on, not to create hype but to create demand and exposure. We all know at this current stage, if it goes on MintPal, its going to see a small spike followed by a massive dump. Just look at the track histories of the other coins that got into Mintpal via the voting process. Most recently ENC EntropyCoin. ENC was holding steady at 3k on bittrex, then it got voted to mintpal, it got pumped to 4.5k then shortly after a massive dump to 800 sats, pretty much destroying it..now it is at 100sats!
Conclusion- we are better off going on Mintpal through high demand and high volume, so have them add XSI once its profitable through high volume and has established innovation. Right now its flying under the radar, it has the rep of just another alt (but we all know that is not the case), and nobody talks about it. MintPal has killed almost every coin that has gone there through the voting process, remember that everyone.

Totally agree. The voting adds only a layer of hype that is sensitive and can only last so long. I think it is good as far as getting more attention on XSI but then how do you keep that attention on XSI?

That is why I am saying wait until the devs release what they are working on behind the scenes first, not everything but atleast 1 feature, so to create demand and get the trading volume going again. Right now Mintpal will kill this coin, its a deathtrap. That is why we are better off getting added there because they want to, just like they did with VRC and Crypt coin, because their volumes were insanely high, and now both coins are doing well. On the other hand the coins that get added through voting, get bludgeoned beyond repair. So in short, what I am saying is wait till devs release the 'behind the scenes' features theyre working on, which will increase trading volume, which will but XSI on the map, which will have Mintpal add it by choice isntead of going through the voting process.

Someone is throwing a lot of hash at the multipool.  You can see a lot of volume over the last hour on Bittrex as a result.

The multipool is working extremely well, so if you are a supporter of StabilityShares and want to see an increase in price and volume, please start mining at http://pool.stabilityshares.com/

We have no illusions that getting on Mintpal will be the answer.  Switching form PoW to PoS, creating a multipool, running lots of promotions, and being active on the forum demonstrate our level of commitment.  I don't like to release updates just to hype the coin, but prefer to update when I have something definitive.

There are features we are looking at, potential partnerships with other coins, merchants, and other promotions.  Rest assured, we are committed to this project.

Yes I agree. All I am saying is we shouldn't go on a voting frenzy to be added on mintpal. Mintpal right now would hurt us. We should instead wait for the updates and whatever promotions features you guys are working to be releases prior to going on mintpal. Dont hype it up and no rush. Just do what you guys are doing with development and lets worry about mintpal afterwards. Hold off on the voting, we dont want to be the next ENC.

I am holding several voting promotions for Mintpal, so that is what is getting us up the list.  One of the promotions has 65 pages of votes. Getting to be pretty expensive for me and bminer  Cry.  This also has the ancillary benefit of additional exposure and getting XSI into the hands of more people.  My personal preference would be 3-4 weeks from now.  We should have accomplished quite a bit in that time-frame.

Our focus is on consistent improvement.  There is no hype, and we are anything but a pump and dump coin.  Keep supporting XSI, we are committed to being a long-term, sustainable coin.

Bittrex and Poloniex are great exchanges.  Lets focus on getting more volume with them.

Price and volume have been rising as a result of increased use of the multipool  Grin

The forum is open. I am tallying the votes now. Payout should be later on today.

It is happening fast guys. The votes are hard to keep up with.

Someone is stocking up on XSI on both bittrex and poloniex as well.

If you are on the fence now is the time to jump in.

I appreciate your feedback. That does happen to some coins.  Those are coins that usually have developers or communities that are looking for a quick profit.

There are plenty of other coins that maintain a consistent level of success through innovation and marketing.  We are focused on creating value for the community, and believe getting on their exchange will only further our cause.

I will once again emphasize that Mintpal is not the end-goal.  My personal preference would be to get on MP in 3-4 weeks.  This will allow enough time for us to release some more developments.  To get to on MP in 3-4 weeks though, we need to consistently vote.  So, thats why I like to post reminders.

Btw I am happy to see an increase in price and volume on Bittrex and Poloniex.  The multipool is really pushing things forward, so be sure to throw some hash at it!  http://pool.stabilityshares.com

All you miners that have a vested interest or you just want to mine profitably get on board, I just threw about 30MH at the pool.
How do you think BC went from 1200 sat to where it is now, M-U-L-T-I-P-O-O-L

Great to have you back playah!  Consistent use of the multipool will make a huge difference for XSI.

We are seeing the effect that last 2 days.  Lets keep going  Grin

Big gains today and yet XSI seems to have soooo much room for market growth still. I will lend my humble 1.3 MHash rig to the multipool for a while.
