Bitstar has been added to AlCrypt.com!

That domain doesn't appear to exist

Have I been doing my math right here?

30sec blocktime.... 124coins a block....

248coins a minute x 60 = 14,880 bits per hour

14,880 x 24 = 357,120 bits per day

357,120x 7 = 2,499,840 bits a week

2,499,840 x 6 (POW period) = 14,999,040 bits at the end of POW period...

Is this right?

Sounds correct to me.

so this is the total amount of coins inclusive staking?

Quote
Total amount of coins 54256119 (54.25 million)

the thing is....

Premine 3%...

total POW coins 14,999,040 :100 = 149990,4.... 149990,4 X 3 = 449971,2

Quote
★ Bounties (we're working on a full list, but to start with we'll offer ):
- 2000 coins for the first 4 pools
- 500 coins for announce translations
- 5000 coins for the first 2 indi exchanges (ie not yet mainstream, please check with us first for verification)
- 10,000 first mainstream exchange
- 2000 coins for IRC stats bot

totalled at 30000 bits without the coins for announce translations

449971,2 - 30000 (Bounties)= 419971.2

419971.2 - 400K (Donation) = 19971.2

So lets say through this calculation the Dev only has 15K left in the end... Really nice  Smiley

Can you pls confirm this dev? Am I right on this one?  Cheesy

EDIT: sorry... looks messed up a bit... but I'm a numbers guy you know Wink

Only 15M pow coins ? That's like cinni. Pos is bigger but not much people are staking anyway so 56M hard cap will never be reach, far from that.

21 days is a long wait for staking. I wish i could tried it already.

This coin could be big.

ETA on dev premine ? i will believe that 400K donation only if i see proof...And i'm pretty sure that given the actual low price, some whales have already as many coins as the dev...the cons of a long dump pow phase...

400K on 15 millions POW is a lot...

It is a lot but I hope the dev will donate in stages with it instead of dumping it all instantly.
Even CINNI has a big number of holders over 200-300k. So yeah, it's nothing new I guess.

Dev? you still around?  Shocked

I do remember chatting with him in the IRC channel and he mentioned he was going to be on holiday (UK way of saying vacation) soon, but I don't know exactly when that was or for how long. Anyway I wouldn't panic.

How many people are in this Coin-Dev-Team and what are their Roles?
Is there just 1 dev that is on holiday?

Because that wont be enough imho to make all the needed PR to gain a userbase and such ...

no offense - i'm just curious ^^
