not a lot of action here or on the multipool. I'm thinking this coin, although the dev is good, is pretty much a write off.

Feel free to send me any you're holding if you want to get rid of it Smiley

I think the 21 day mature time is too long. 1 day is more appropriate

Yes, this is why we changed it to 1 day.  We're now working on a new unseen feature, should have more news in the next week or so.  But won't announce it until it is ready.

One of the most important features of a good coin is a good dev and so far, this one seems to have that.

Glad you think I'm funny!

Dev, just to be clear we have officially entered the 24 hour staking period and the latest wallet is now mandatory, correct?

Wallet syncs fine for me. Volumes were nice today. I really hope this coin gets more attention. Too many p&d coins lately.

(Edit) Nevermind, it's not syncing for me at this moment.

Hey I wonder if the guys running this multipool https://coinking.io/ could be convinced to add BitStar as one of the target coin options. They already support a wide variety of payout coins, including some that I've never even heard of. Adding BitStar to that list couldn't be very hard. Plus they support X13 which the official multipool does not.

X13 can be added any time to the official MP, as there wasn't a lot of takers on X11, I didn't push on with it, but I've said before I can add other algorithms easy enough.

For those having syncing issues, please find a bootstrap file here http://bitstarcoin.com/bootstrap.dat

Excuse my ignorance, but what do I do with the bootstrap file?

Backup, then go to your %appdata% folder, then delete everything but wallet.dat and your config , then place bootstrap in that folder, start the wallet, it will then start processing the blocks from the bootstrap rather than downloading from the network.
