OMG i don't have words to say than, how in the world can you trust someone 340k$ ? I know i'm not helping to lower your pain, but look it that way:you learned something in investment, which you could lear much easier.

Belive me you could invest those 340k$ in your own page and you would be making at least 20% per month. You can consider this as a tip for the future.

I'm really sorry, but i'm realist.

Everyone with money is not an investor nor an entrepreneur.. Your post was not very smart/nor helpful in my opinion.
Its like telling someone who drinks to stop drinking and start a vodka company..

Well, that comparisson is not really accurate. If he had 340k$ in that site than he is investor, we can't disprove that. By having such a big investment in site which is owned by ''we-don't-know-who", he made it really risky.

And i have already write that i didn't intend to be helpful in a way : oh i'm sorry, do you feel better now? not really, right?

I might sound like advertising, but with such an ammount (or even only 10% of it) he could make his own site, and take full controll of his investment, which means he knows all the risks and he can deal with them. Now someone took his 340k$ and he is blaming them, of course, try giving 340k$ to random guy on street and tell him that you will be back on the same spot in 1 year time waiting for money. What do you expect, to be honest?

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

he didnt invest in the site. He is a gambler. For sure he was willing to loose his gambling proceeds. However, this was not the case, he actually won, and won big. This thread is about him actually getting robbed by the site.
In your reasoning, there would be no gamblers in the world, and everyone willing to risk a penny would only do so by investing in a casino. In your world, there would naturally be no proceeds or dividends from a casino, making the investment worthless..
So you recommendation to him to become an investor instead of actually being a gambler, doesnt make much sense at all.
Yes an honest recommendation, but not a very smart one.

If you search reddit you will find a few Coinbet promos created by 'bitcoinsource'.  After a few months of OP haggling with Coinbet, he then deals with a 'Michael Carter'.    It is likely no coincidence that around March 17th, CTO of DCE-24 Michael Carter launched the new 'Bitsource' bitcoin exchange platform.  I imagine if we connect the dots we can do something here.

Also please take a look at this link:

http://bitcoinsource.net/author/bitcoinsource/

Please note the prominence of Coinbet promotions on this page.  It is fairly obvious to me there is a connection as OP alleged in the first post.  If I had to guess, Coinbet is merely a larger front to fund this business with the intent to either 'Gox' a lot of people all over again, or simply to fund the exchange.

I didn't "invest" 340k with them.  I merely deposited significantly smaller amounts of bitcoins with them (roughly $6,700) worth each time.  most times I lost them, but the last time I won, and won big.  from $35,000 up to $340,000.  i never "trusted" them with that much money and never gave them $340,000.

I tried to cash out many, many times along the way, but was never allowed to.  in all reality the most of my money i ever trusted them with was roughly $6,700 worth of my bitcoins at any given time.  along the way i gave them a lot more than that total (maybe 250BTC, worth more at the time than they are now) but always as much smaller deposits which i kept losing.

Wow man I am so sorry to hear that.. I am having my own issues with them. I deposited only $200 with them just because they were a newer sportsbook and told them I didn't want the bonus when made the deposit so they removed it from my account and told me I wouldn't have to wait for any type of rollover. So I did a test $30 withdraw and after emailing them it was processed and I received it in my wallet. So I though cool good to go. I am a decent at betting at sports and a little under a month I turned that $200 into $1400. I requested a $400 bitcoin payout and have been waiting on it 5 days. I have emailed them numerous times and they don't respond or just stall and say tech will get it processed. I am nowhere near in the hole as you are but I am just putting this up as a warning for others.

wow this sucks too u didnt even take the bonus and their trying to fuck you

pretty clear to me that it doesn't matter if you take the bonus or not.  win substantial money and you wont be getting it...

Just woke up, it was night here on the East coast, so i'm catching up on the nights worth of posts and the private messages.  Was a very long day yesterday and obviously I've had a lot of migraines over the last 4 weeks having to deal with coinbet.cc BS.  yesterday was a very despressing day for me because I finally had to admit to myself that there was no chance they would ever pay.  I always held out small hope (2-5%), but when I posted my ordeal i knew it was 0%.

there's a line from shawshank about "hope is a good thing. maybe the best of good things. and no good thing ever dies" (i looked it up). I lived my life around that hope for a long while and yesterday i knew it was finally gone.

After my post here it seems I'm far from the only one waiting on funds.  People are waiting on 20k, 15k, 5k and 1.4k and i'm sure many many others with smaller amounts.  Feel free to post here if coinbet pays, gives you the runaround, or perhaps just contacts you.  From what i'm seeing they're in a complete communications blackout right now.  Keep everyone else who has money on coinbet apprised of your situation and of course while this thread runs and gains traction online (google, etc) it will warn others who are looking for a safe place to place bets (casino, poker, sports) NOT to come to this site.

Also, 2 of the least shocking breaking news stories this morning here on the east coast:

"The sun has risen"

"Coinbet.cc has locked my account and I am no longer able to access it"

I am still 100% certain they would let me deposit more bitcoins though.

Locking your account is a stupid move on their part, first in PR terms it's holding up a sign saying "We are scammers!", two it's risking legal action.

Just so u know if other people are waiting on money from this place it is because of 1 person and 1 person only, your the one to blame for winning that kind of money in a startup book. Thought u should know before u go posting more stuff. 340k LOL unreal. Oh my name is BitcoinzRulez lets go ahead and max bet every bet i have and see where is goes, 10k, 20k, 40k, 80k,160k omg i now have 340k in a new bitcoin book open 2 months, its not like bitcoin books have the greatest rep at the moment.

Legions - why exactly are you defending a shady, scamming, piece of shit sportsbook?  Plenty of other people had more money than $1600 on there, including me.  And yet I don't give a flying fuck that he posted, because the longer this scam went on the longer more people are going to lose their money.  Obviously all you care about is the $1600 you're not going to see (and likely wouldn't have anyhow), and not the greater good of the community.  Look in the mirror and ask yourself who the greedy one is?

I would also add that a book that accepts these kinds of deposits and has the wagering limits that allow for 10k bets, should be made accountable and obligated to PAY out when they do lose.  Obviously.  Any other train of thought is just asinine and moot.  When it is determined that the site is then scamming and lying, what would you have people do then? Keep their mouth shut while other people get ripped off?

Im not defending this book, actually im on his side. I just have to let him know that he is an idiot to do something like this. I have to ask what normal person would even try this out?
Also what do u think will happen with any book that is coming out 2 months? Also what person would even try to bet more than 10k per bet in this place? Sh-it i could bet high limits here if i wanted to but I know what could go wrong with books and even more with bitcoin books, i didn't even want to place a bet higher than $300 here.
If i'm wrong please show me then, like I said this guy is looking for retribution and he wants to a book to have morals, well then he needs to go pick out a book from SBR that is A rated like Pinnacle which he could use his bitcoins at or go with Betdsi or Bookmaker, then he could bet 50k per bet and feel good that he will get paid.
I am also not going back that out of all the complaints over the years and all the stories i have read from posters in forums this is by far the craziest story I have ever read and dumbest move by someone.

Ok then let me also tell u guys this another time, go to SBR if u want to be treated like this and pick an A rated book. U guys better not expect to get what your looking for with Bitcoin books that when something goes wrong u can guarantee your $ is safe. How hard is this to understand that you are gambling with your $ here, when u guys understand the risk involved then we are on the same page until then all these "proper ways" to run a book just won't work.
