If i send my btc now will I get the 40% bonus still? Can I make another payment (first one was sent two days ago)?
You can make as many payments as you like, they'll likely arb mastercoin for a while now and keep saying they've been loaned more money or some other kind of bullshit. They scrapped the 40% sliding scale bonus, so essentially everyone just get's 40% more coins then listed on their site. a fixed rate of 23800 instead of 17000.

I sent them 1BTC on Tuesday and have not received any coins, unless I'm being completely retarded and have missed them some how. How am I meant to view the coins? If I type the sending address or transaction ID into blockchain or masterchest no Safecoins show up. Can anyone help?

Either one as long as you control the private keys

If you meant sending MSAFE using qt or blockchain.info, no you cannot. It needs to be a mastercoin wallet.

The SPT will be sent to the address you send them BTC from; so, easier to do this from blockchain and control which address is used. Obviously, to send SPT later on you'll need to use a Masterchain like wallet that can work with that, rather than just the BTC in that address.

So if I sent from my blockchain.info wallet, I would search for my public address associated with that wallet?

So if I sent from my blockchain.info wallet, I would search for my public address associated with that wallet? Yes, the transaction is on the Bitcoin BTC blockchain and the address then holding BTC can also hold other coins like Mastercoin MSC; Counterparty XCP; and now Maidsafecoin SPT. To send those maidsafecoins once you receive then, you need to use a wallet that can work with those, which I expect for now will be the mastercoin wallets.

Blockchain is just foolproof; it's trivial to export the private key to a single address that you choose to send from. QT perhaps chooses whichever address has sufficient funds; so, I don't feel in control of QT and consider it is a mix of multiple addresses. If you're confident you are sending from the address in qt or the daemon and you know the private key to that address, then go ahead. When you look to move SPT later you'll need to know the private key, that's all.

Along the present, more practical lines, when are my Safecoins going to show up in my Masterchest wallet? If that's not how it works, how do I access my Safecoins?

So the majority of the IPO is stolen Gox funds and apparently the sourcecode is a copy of a 14 year old's repo.
Well good thing I held off on investing.
