I'm fixing several issues in new version. It is almost ready, but one of the issues requires some time to debug.

Today I tried to run the miner, and he there gave me an error and didn't work. Here's the line start:
Quote
minerd.exe -d 0 -a wildkeccak_ocl -o stratum+tcp://bbr.cncoin.farm:9999 -u 1BucJ63i8W3fJpgM7JHhq2euaJST5uR7XNvjpG4YmBhERzYiz9bdDx8QччciGJ8uGPLod7vgT9KCUQimx26xHEvFF1E74Tb -p U_2#8nMa0f$ -k http://cdn.cncoin.farm/scratchpad.bin -l scratchpad.bin
Here's the line start what could be the problem? Pool works.

Are you sure that's a BBR wallet address?  I plugged in one of my addresses in and it worked fine.  Create a new address and try it.  What's the -d switch for?  You should use a different pool and spread the hashrate.

Or better yet solomine with MBK's open_cl miner:

Windows build:
https://github.com/mbkuperman/boolberry-opencl/releases

You are better off going solo. The difficulty is low and you won't get server disconnects.

All the pools are bad.

Has cncoin.farm been bad lately? I thought it was doing ok. Anyone else have any experiences good or bad?

Only reason not to do solo would be if there are a lot of orphans, but I don't think there are many orphans at all. You can register your own alias that way, too.

Speaking of which, thanks to those that have registered aliases at my pool. I'm just glad it got tested. Seems to work ok.

Edit: Of course the pool goes down right after I send this...

I'm trying to install Boolberry wallet headless in Ubuntu. As far as i know it needs libboost1.55-all-dev which can be downloaded from repo ppa:boost-latest/ppa.

But if i do  sudo apt-get -y install gcc-4.8 g++-4.8 libboost1.55-all-dev git cmake, i get this:

I'm trying to install Boolberry wallet headless in Ubuntu. As far as i know it needs libboost1.55-all-dev which can be downloaded from repo ppa:boost-latest/ppa.

But if i do  sudo apt-get -y install gcc-4.8 g++-4.8 libboost1.55-all-dev git cmake, i get this:

But now i got this:

Quote
$ cd boolberry; make -j
mkdir -p build/release
cd build/release && cmake -D CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release ../..

Try changing -j  to like -j2 or even get rid of it if it doesn't compile. It takes a lot of memory depending on how many cores you have, and it looks like it ran out.

Or make a swap file if that still doesn't solve the problem. I've been able to compile wallets with only 512 MB of RAM on a vps using a 2 GB swap file. See here:

Seems that you try to complie project on VPS which is usualy ha e low RAM, and even worse - you try to do that with "-j" parametr, that to complie with multiple processes.
I recommend you to do following:
1. run "make" without -j key
2. enable virtual memory on VPS if it is not enableed yet.
3. increase size of RAM (at least 1-2GB)

This should helps. Let me know it is still not working.

Strange, the vps has 2.5GB of RAM and 2.5GB of swap. But indeed, it was making numerous cc1plus services. Did it without -j and it worked.

Ok, so i ran ./boolbd from /home/badass/boolberry/build/release/src and got this:

Strange, the vps has 2.5GB of RAM and 2.5GB of swap. But indeed, it was making numerous cc1plus services. Did it without -j and it worked.

Ok, so i ran ./boolbd from /home/badass/boolberry/build/release/src and got this:

If you're on AWS you can open ports from the web interface console, you don't need to mess with iptables or anything. I guess it depends on your VPS provider how you would unblock that port.

Tried to open up ports in iptables:

$ sudo iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 10101 -j ACCEPT
$ sudo iptables -A INPUT -p udp --dport 10101 -j ACCEPT

But still can't get it to work. Keep saying [P2P9]Failed to connect to any of seed peers, continuing without seeds

I can ping the IP's though

$ ping 107.170.228.11
PING 107.170.228.11 (107.170.228.11) 56(84) bytes of data.

The problems are not only the ping rate its also the speed of the servers. Thats why many people keep getting reconnects when mining
