Why is the price of BBR so low right now? Are there reasons to be encouraged about the price going up?
I cannot answer your question about the price. Short term price swings are not my focus. Many coins have seen price declines lately. CryptoZoidberg, Clintar, etc remain active with db testing which is very important. Read the thread for information about how to beta test the new version. Smooth (Monero dev) also offered a fair critique of what BBR is working on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577267.msg12413316#msg12413316Other people are working on other projects. You should ask them for specifics or how you can help. Personally I could use some help contacting merchants to add BBR (look at merchants I have tweeted). The more people that contact a merchant the better the chance they will add us People can list items to buy and sell with BBR on cointopay https://cointopay.com/Come play chess and talk CryptoNote https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1190988.0How would you like to help?

Hello,
i tried downloading the wallet (windows, full installer). The wallet seems not to synchronize with the network. Next i downloaded the blockchain file and placed it in the right folder. After starting the wallet again, a certain amount of blocks have been loaded, anyway there is no progress in synchronization.
Any suggestions?
Thank you.

Right-click on the shortcut and add this after the filename --add-priority-node 66.228.33.249:10101 --add-priority-node 59.120.166.36:10101 --add-priority-node 62.201.213.25:10101 --add-priority-node 95.85.21.33:10101 --add-priority-node 107.170.97.197:10101 I'm not sure how many of those are still around. It's just what I've been using forever on my nodes

Maybe that will lead to more more nodes and an increased hash rate

I think more people from Monero have noticed us lately. Lets do them a favor and help with this vote: https://tutanota.uservoice.com/forums/237921-general/suggestions/9968298-accept-monero-xmr-for-donationsSimilar to when Cryptsy added Monero, maybe it will take Tutanota accepting Monero before they will consider us. We seem to keep emphasizing our technical differences (and official GUI) which are important. Unfortunately I think merchants may care more about the size of our community. If a merchant adds Monero and is happy with the result then maybe they will think about adding us too. Lets work together to support the CryptoNote community.

The new db code is looking good! Its nice to see some real progress recently. I may just have to pick up a few more coins.

Again, hashrate is skewed like hell!
Network: 136.86 MH/sec
bbr.poolto.be: 106.20 MH/sec
Why is BBR still there given this awesome attack vector?

I like that you can see the current hash rate and exchange price right in the wallet.

I like that you can see the current hash rate and exchange price right in the wallet. We need to encourage an increase in both hash rate and number of connections. I saw this idea in a Monero thread. It could help Boolberry too https://github.com/monero-project/bitmonero/issues/354

Maybe you should ask the person who started it. Threads can be locked for many reasons. This thread and the new Boolberry speculation thread should be enough.

Sorry for long silence, it is not very good, will try to post regulary. I hope, ziodberg will find some time to write something about current status too. First: the coin is not abandoned, for sure. I can promise that if I'll decide to quit this project, I'll declare it in public. I can't promise for zoidberg, but I'm sure he will do the same in such situation. Second: current status. It is not changed very much for last month: main part of the gui client is ready and is in the main repo. But it contains many issues, it requires testing and fixes for this issues. It is not C++ development, it is html+js coding now. Why is development so slow? I'm new in html+js coding, and I have a full-time job, so I can spend only about a 10-20 hours a week on the bbr development. If somebody can help in testing or html coding, I'll be glad.) About the bbr-economy: it is really cool.) I have several projects in my head too.) But I think it is important to implement multi-sig for such kind of projects before. If you can implement it without multi-sig, I'll be glad to help you if you need it, my skype is jahrsg, my email is scruffy@nakamoto.pw. If you have any quesations, fill free to ask me. I also have more experience with C++ than java and html but would be willing to help with testing at the very least. What are some of the issues that you need help with exactly? Any more updates on the new GUI scruffy? I have been studying js more recently and am willing to try to help if I can.

Update from jl777 (James from SuperNet) http://chainradar.com/bcn/blockshttp://chainradar.com/bbr/blockshttp://chainradar.com/xmr/blockscan anybody comment on those three pages and what it indicates? I have always been focused on usage, not speculative prices. With cryptonotes, the blockchain size is a key issue and while BBR has the pruning, if it has to be RAM resident that defeats the purpose to a large degree. I am very glad to see a DB version in testing as until that is out, the footprint is too big. In the last year I have coded from scratch ramchains, MGW, InstantDEX, SuperNET agents, atomic wallet swaps, jumblr coinshuffle, pangea decentralized poker and PAX pegged asset exchange, currently ~100,000 lines of C code. This is just the code I personally wrote, not counting all the non-coding issues of managing a large decentralized community, nor of the contributions of dozens of other devs. I dont believe many people understand the full scale and scope of what I am working on, let alone of the entire SuperNET. Due to my workload, I am not posting much on BTT, nor can I be proactively working on BBR integration into SuperNET at this point. That being said, I think what can be done is for a SuperNET agent to be created that allows for using BBR by all the SuperNET nodes. A SuperNET agent allows a set of node(s) to publish a service to all the other nodes in the network, this is how MGW is implemented. I think combining coinshuffle with a cryptonote would be quite a powerful combination. A BBR agent would facilitate its usage, but really what is needed is more active involvement by BBR dev team in the SuperNET slack. If you think of SuperNET as a shopping mall, then the BBR store is there, but without BBR peoples, it will be an empty store. James James, Thank you for your response. What is your specific question about the chainradar data? For each block it lists the timestamp, block size, number of transactions and hash. Difficulty and emissions totals are there also. What are you wondering? We are excited about the DB version too! I am glad to hear that it will also help with SuperNET. I can pass along your comments about wishing more people were in SuperNET slack. We know you have been very busy over the last year. Can I ask why you decided it best to combine coinshuffle with CryptoNote instead of using CryptoNote alone? I will cross post this to our announcement thread as well for more visibility.
